Share your favorite memories of anything Fallout-related here, whether it's about the time you murdered an entire cave of Deathclaws with only the BB Gun your father gave you or the night you spent outside your favorite store waiting to acquire your copy of Fallout 3. It can be from within the games or about Fallout in general. I'll start with a picture I took of a super mutant I killed near Black Mountain while playing Fallout: New Vegas.

Well Hunt, let me tell you this one story! Back in 2256, Me & Howard moved into Tenpenny tower. The funny thing is, there were so many scandals and secrets. One of my neighbors, Susan Lancaster, kept trying to seduce Howard. Oh dear. The corruption. The secrets, the lies!

Is it corny to say every moment? emotion_dealwithit
Like, I just always feel like I'm where I'm suppose to be when I'm playing Fallout, don't matter if I'm just travelling around the Wastes or actually completing quest.
Also, I'm an old fuddy-duddy with s**t memory so I can't conjure any moments since it's been awhile emotion_facepalm

Moments where having the bloody mess perk activate and it makes sense. Like when you torso shoot someone with a missile. Or the satisfying slow-mo of blowing someone's head apart with a shotgun. Stuff that makes sense. (rather than shoot their head off and watch it fly away, wondering how a 10mm did that.)
My fondest memory is walking the long 15 with Willow, Boon , and Veronica. The dust clinging to out boots. The wind at out back and the hot sun beating down on out necks. All of heading into New Vegas for more adventures. Rolling with what ever the wasteland threw at us.

Pedestrian, I can relate to that. No matter where I'm at in the Fallout universe, I'm always havin' fun.
Mazzy, those moments sound awesome!! I love bloody explosions!!
Killing that dog head jerk in nipton and getting sassy with the NCR.

I remember talking to him so he and his group would start to leave Nipton, then I waited until they were all grouped fairly close together, crouched down behind them, and threw all the dynamite I had gathered from wiping out the Powder Gangers at the Correctional Facility at them. Bodies flew everywhere as bloody justice was served.
As for your confession there, I am so glad I'm not the only one.. I never even knew there was a companion named Dogmeat until the trailers for Fallout 4 began appearing and I went back and played through Fallout 3 again. I did use Rex a lot in New Vegas, if that makes up for it.

I play new vegas as lucy, pre sniper rifle, alot more hot headed. right after he was done with his speach, it was a caravan shotgun to the face. Admittedly the rest were taken out in the most cowardly of fashions with the mercs grenade launcher, and so my days of being chased by legion kill squads began.
Same here, I played Fallout 3 alot too, and I still am finding out things about that game. Ever notice the guard standing ABOVE the megaton gate? me neither. Rex is the best companion if you kill alot and need to loot those bodies.

Now that I think about it. I had a fond member that I really hate which was getting my greedy vault hands on that experimental fat man in the national guard armor. That piece of tech(though nice and shiny) wasn't worth the stimpaks to get
