The park tended to be something of a go to for Oort. To be honest the park was kind of something of a go to even when he was being Briar because whilst it wasn't quite as fun as the swimming pool or as awesome as the water park, it was still pretty cool - particularly in summer... And the trees made for the best reading spot.
Tonight he was in superhero mode which meant that he was being Oort and not Briar as he skirted round his favourite book reading tree and headed in the direction of the playground.
He had a stick in his hand, a nice-sized one that he'd found lying on the ground earlier and so had picked it up - because you never knew when a branch might come in handy.
And, besides there were monsters in the park.
Well ok, make that there had once been a monster in the playground sandpit - but whilst that had kind of been a while back, it had still been a monster and for all he knew there might be more…
Even if there hadn't been so far.
In fact there hadn’t been much of anything so far, which was perhaps why Oort was letting the stick trail along as he walked.chirigami Hi Chiri, here's a belated start for you. Let me know if anything needs changing. Will have the next one up in a moment

There was just something about chibi senshi and parks, like they were just sort of natural dawn to them for patrols. Maybe their childhood calling out, begging for them to reclaim it in this war. Or something. Hygiea never really thought that deeply and certainly wasn't when she found herself at this particular park. Nope, that wasn't going through her head when she rounded a corner and noticed a nice looking tree. (And hey, she might have argued that plenty of older senshi went to parks and her team met at one like all the time.... before she left).
No, she was thinking about how annoying quiet it was and had been. After coming back to Destiny City she hadn't encountered any youma or even any stupid Negaverse people and that was so annoying. She kicked a rock, it hit the tree, and let out an irritated grunt. "Why is it so boring?!"litian Oh, its a fine start! Sorry, got caught up in another shop xD Sorry for my lame tag

Oort's senshi education was somewhat lacking - well okay somewhat lacking was kind of an understatement given that he hadn't every had the aura sensing 101 lessons - at least not unless one counted the few vague mentions from Horatio about how some people felt 'friendly'.
He knew enough to know that when he was powered up as Oort that he was in superhero mode and to know that talking cats and monsters were real and he had met Scary Lady and also seen the creepy-holed people...
However, he wasn't aware of the approaching senshi - at least not by aura.
By voice, now - by voice was a different thing altogether. That and whoever it was seemed to definitely be heading in his direction and so he paused and turned to look backwards, stick dangling loosely in his fingers as he called "Who's there?" in his best superhero voice.

Her frustrated mood and small attempt at park destruction had kept her pretty distracted about checking for auras about the area. It was until she heard a - maybe? - responding voice that she was jolted out of her grumbling and allowed her to pick it up.
It was feint-ish, someone a bit weaker than herself but more importantly didn't seem bad at all. Which was good, in the sense that she wasn't going to be ambushed, but disappointing that she wasn't going to be finally in a fight. Well maybe. When she looked up there was a very defensive boy with a stick.
"Super Sailor Chibi Hygiea, and who are you stick boy?" The orange clad senshi shouted back as she did her own best attempt at bravado; including a sudden shift in stance with her hands on her hips ala Wonder Woman.

Oort had kind of figured that the voice probably wasn't from one of the monsters that Horatio had tasked him with looking out for, but he wasn't expecting the orange-haired girl that stepped into his line of vision and who was wearing an outfit that had a lot pink in it.
He probably would have wrinkled his nose at it a little, but at that point she mentioned her name.
"I'm Sailor Chibi Oort" he said as he shifted the stick until it rested against his shoulder. Ignoring the 'stick boy' comment in favour of adding "Are you a superhero too?"
After all it wasn't often that he got to run into fellow superheroes - a lot of the time it was kind of just him.

At first she had to wonder if the outfit wasn't evident enough, "dude, of course I am!" Though, she probably would enjoy the bright colors as an everyday outfit come to think of it, "and I'm a totally awesome one," she boasted proudly with a little puff of her chest even as she still stood in her Wonder Woman pose. Nevermind that her power sucked, but he didn't have to know that now.
"So, are you the senshi of sticks?" She asked him, indicating the weapon he had in his hands that he had seemed to be swinging around. Hygiea's arms finally shifted to cross against her chest as she took a step closer towards him, assessing the other chibi soldier before him. He had a few accessories on him, she noted (and hair almost as bright at her's). Those keys seemed more useful than her cat plush though. "Or locks?" Because keys.

The outfit hadn't been evident enough.
But then again Oort wasn't really all that well-versed on the ins and outs of how to recognise his fellow superheroes and whilst Horatio had told him that there were lots of other superheroes about he hadn't really come across that many.
In fact the last one had been one who had had pretty much allll the jingle-jangles - Pavo - and the two of them had ended up having to fight a monster together, and.. And...
He shook his head at Hygiea, "No - the stick's for in case of monsters" he said. "Because sticks work pretty well on them" and they worked better than his magic did.
"It's neat that you're a superhero too. I'm the senshi of keys, you?"
