 Drakiabel wasn't doing much of anything... But then, did he ever do much of anything?
The vividly colored B'alam tilted his head to ponder this thought.
Well, he did help out all over the place. He picked glowing mushrooms and he assisted in the theater and he even entertained others at times! Okay, well, the last one was maybe an accident. His tripping and falling over his own feet and wings while carrying around herbs to deliver here and there surely had proved entertainment to someone however.
Currently he was licking his brightly hued paw, the smile on his face given extra flare by the not-so-toothy smile covering the fur on his maw. Hmm. He was helpful, no doubts about that. He did things when he was asked, and sometimes when he wasn't asked. He liked helping, he just didn't like doing the same thing over and over again. Truth be told really, maybe he didn't do as much as he could have with his time.
Like, how he could be assembling a wagon right now. Or he could be helping make blood sausages. Instead he was sitting on a stone grooming himself. He could be delivering pelts somewhere but he was content just where he was! He had no responsibilities or reason to move from this spot and that was perfectly fine in Draikabel's book. Who needed responsibilities anyway?

Yet in his mindless wondering Arjun came out of his personal musings when Tendu'a gave a squeak that he realized that he wasn't alone in this area of the dark territory. Blinking, the male saw another brightly colored male of epic portions that was so unique and bright....Arjun felt this relief that he wasn't the only one who was incredibly bright. Smiling he sauntered over to the bright male, good naturedly calling a greeting to him. "Good tidings to you!"

"Hmm?" Drakiabel slowly rose his head from his arm, which he was licking and padding down with his paw to make look nice. His contrasting eyes turned to look at a brightly stranger heading towards him. It was rather remarkable to Drakiabel to find another bright stranger in the dark tribe. Though not an overly shock, some of whom he had seen before such as Ruxandra were rather bright themselves!
"Hello! Good tidings to you!" He greeted the other male with a large grin, which was emphasized by his already existing grin. He silently prayed that this male wasn't heading towards him to complain about his lack of working at the moment.
Not that he felt a stranger would do that or anything... But it was a possibility.
"Who are you?" He asked happily. "I'm Drakiabel."

Coming to stand near the bright male and seeing that his fascinating markings, especially the smile around his mouth added to the smile he already gave, Arjun was glad for the good natured response. Dealing with customers as a merchant apprentice, there were some with the most horrid of tempers! Or it could very well be that other tribers just wanted a fair price. More importantly it was a great relief to meet someone outside of that realm.
Returning the smile, Arjun bowed his head with his bolf clinging to his fur and becoming distracted to cuddle under his closed wings for doing a job well done in spotting the fellow Dark triber. "It's an honor to meet you Drakiabel. Truly it is. I am Arjun Rama but you can simply call me Arjun or Arj." The white and purple male sat down, sighing heavily. "I hope you don't mind my sitting down to take a break and no intruding on your rest. I've been working all day and quite ready to kick back to do nothing. That includes thinking." Arjun laughed. Hopefully this male didn't think him lazy or silly over his rather lame joke.

Draikabel seemed to hardly noticed the attempt of a joke that the other male made. He merely added a noise of acknowledgement and then rose him upper body slightly in order to stretch out his forelegs with a satisfied grunt. His mouth opened wide and exposed his fangs as he let a moan of a yawn, clamping his jaw shut before lowering his body back to the ground. "Mmm thinking is overrated." He finally answered in reply.
It occurred to him that Draikabel had a feeling of tired looming over him, but he also had no desire to sleep. It was a strange feeling in between that of a perfectly relaxed creature but also a creature who was somewhat bored. Though he tried not to think too much about the latter. If he was truly bored he'd just find something to do, no, Draikabel was feeling relaxed. That was it, relaxation, not boredom.
"Why overthink when more fun is to be had living in the moment?" He questioned. "Why worry over the consequences of jumping off a cliff instead of just leaping away for that pure rush of freedom?"
Well, because that was dangerous, obviously. They could get seriously hurt, though there was no proof that they would. Not that it actually mattered, given that it wasn't as if he was suggesting they actually go cliff-diving or something...

The male tilted his head and listened to Drakiabel as the idea went into his mind and he smirked. Unfortunately my profession requires that I overthink to ensure that everyone is given a fair bargain and that I am not cheated out of my wares." He said which is always an exciting part, the bargaining part. The Arjun had been working non-stop especially after finding and bonding with his bolf.
This male wanted to have fun for once!
Actually...we should do that. I haven't leaped off a cliff in a long time. My parents never knew that as an adolescent, I would do that to practice my flying since being outside of the domain is off limits." The male grinned. "What say we have a try of it?" He asked in good nature.

Oh? Drakiabel's face flickered with a slight grin and he lifted himself off the ground. He might not have outright suggested they go cliff diving but hey, if this guy wanted to Drak wasn't about to suggest doing something otherwise! He briefly thought on the fact that Arj had said outside was off limits, which as far as he knew it wasn't. But maybe that was just the what his parents had told him because he was a cub at the time. Not that Draki knew anything about having parents, he was woven by the grand weaver without them. Then thoughts of parents or rather the lack of parents quickly slipped from his mind within seconds. He didn't like to dwell on it too much, because really it was such a tiny little fact that Drak just accepted it without much expanded thought. Some b'alam had parents, most didn't. Widespread knowledge that was accepted, moving on.
He looked to the bright male with a nod. "Let's." He smiled. Now the only 'problem' so to speak was finding a cliff to propel themselves off of. Which wasn't so hard of a task if you considered the fact that the dark tribe was practically made entirely of cliffs and rocks and outcroppings all over the place.
"There might be cliffs over that way." He waved his paw in the general direction he was thinking of. "Unless you can think of a better location?"

Arjun nodded and turned back around to the way he came from then took a step or two forward. "I know a place that is pretty impressive and well I hope you don't mind keeping it a secret. I found it when I was a cub and considering that it could very well break the rules for those of us who are light coated it's worth going here especially if you get a glimpse of the night sky when the moon is at its fullest." He said waiting for Drakiabel's consent to take him to this place. While Arjun was willing to live life to the fullest and do the craziest things ever he wasn't about to send someone else down a potential road of trouble. He did have some morals after all.

The colorful Tah gave a sly grin. A secret place huh? He usually wasn't entrusted to keep secrets. It wasn't as if he was bad at it, he just was never told many. Probably due to working for so many different employers. He imagined as much as they enjoyed having Drakiabel aiding them, they weren't as willing to share with him classified information. Which was fine, he didn't care much for secrets anyways. Still, it was a strange sort of happy moment to know that someone was willing to share with him hidden information or a location not well-known in the public eye.
He smiled widely at Arjun. What was that expression? Rules were meant to be broken anyways? "Sounds pretty cool, let's go there." He awaited eagerly for the pale b'alam to lead them to the cliff. "As long as we're cautious I doubt we'll get in any real trouble."
