Yousei Akki
Bhinor looked about himself and found a small trash can for him to flip the cotton candy paper into. "You got some bad a** reflexes...and lines." He quipped back to Farrow. Bhinor was eying the last dango on his stick when he blinked at the question posed by his companion for the evening. "I'm not going to be filled up by this, trust me." He said as he bit the last dango off the stick and tore it off. Gulping it down he spun the stick around his fingers while pondering the pale man with him. "Well eating is good, and I heard there was a game earlier. But I missed it. Maybe we can find something amusing to do further down the street?" He asked/suggested to the other. Bhinor looked at the stick again then added. "Eh, and on the topic of food, I'm recovering from the war still. I have this thing where I eat a lot and kinda store the energy or something. I didn't have to stop to eat once during the war. But as a side effect I get ravenous after my first real meal. I eat till I'm not hungry anymore. " Bhinor looked up and down the streets, then eyed the hanging lanterns. "How about we come up with our own game? Like... we can try and figure out which person here would pose the biggest threat? That would be like a assessment exercise right?"

"My reflexes have suffered greatly with my lack of proper depth perception," Farrow grumbled in reply, despite the faintest hint of a smile, however short lived it was. It had been a compliment and to have his reflexes complimented when they were nothing in comparison to what they once were, had made him experience a brief moment of something akin to happiness... or was it pride? The barbaric man gave a sideways glance to his patchwork rat companion, becoming adjusted to the strange appearance of the creature. "Hnn, I see... You must replenish the energy that you spend tirelessly on the battlefield. To wage war without stopping to tend to basic necessity is an... admirable quality," the white haired man turned his head the opposite direction to scan the area, his voice no longer a grumble though it still held a rough edge to it. Paying others a compliment was such a rare gesture for him, foreign and not entirely to his liking, though as a warrior he was obligated to acknowledge another warrior's dedication to battle. "I would try something meaty..." Farrow's voice trailed off and he fell silence as they approached crowded game booths and stalls filled with food. With a loud grunt of disapproval of the area becoming more populated, the man shifted closer towards his companion and tensed, standing straight and alert. "An assessment exercise would be wise as one must always practice their skills.. We must not forget that the most unsuspecting creature could also be the most dangerous..."

Chaotic Pandie

Bhinor's attention turned to Farrow's eyepatch. He was trying his best not to stare at it when he looked at Farrow. he was burning with curiosity. He wanted to know what was under it. Was it all gray and white? Was there nothing there? Oh! Was there something hidden in there? Bhinors ears twitched with wonder. But he said nothing. Instead he grinned at Farrows compliment. "Admirable until it actually catches up with me. Then I feel like a fool chowing down a buffet tables worth of food." Something meaty sounded good to Bhinor, but he only nodded his head in answer to that. He was already looking around at the crowd that surrounded them. "I would think that when it comes to people it would be kind of easy to figure out who is the most dangerous. I mean, aren't most threats slinky looking or have like killer auras or some such?"

Farrow tilted his head upward and sniffed the air until a particularly meaty scent caught his attention. There was a low rumbling growl from his stomach and he supposed that it was time to replenish his strength and energy with the consumption of food. Perhaps they would have a strong drink available as well, though it likely would not match to what he was capable of brewing for himself. He liked it very dark, strong and rich with flavors, while he had noticed that others tended to prefer it to be light and lacking in taste.

Farrow snapped his attention back towards Bhinor and frowned deeply at the question, the way that his brows shifted clearly expressed how ridiculous he believed such a question to be. "Of course not. While some threats may be obvious they are often the most feared, they typically lack the skill and abilities to pose a proper threat. The ones that stand out so easily are often clumsy in battle, poorly placed footing and execute battle moves that are only half hearted." He continued to follow his nose while scoffing quietly, stopping in front of a vendor stall, taking in the sight of the deliciously prepared meats. "The most dangerous threats blend in. They are either entirely unnoticed or mistaken for an innocent. They are strategic, analytical, precise. They often win their battles for they observe their potential opponents, and rarely pick one that they cannot best. Those are the ones I prefer to hunt down."

Pandie Dandy

Bhinor matched the path Farrow chose, and in no time found himself standing in front of a particularly pleasant vendors booth. he sniffed at the meaty wares, then dug into his pants pocket to dig out several dark gemstones the size of quarters. "Sounds to me like your saying the ones that make their level of danger obvious are sort of just posing. Kinda like a hedgehog getting all spiky, but under it all they are still a squirmy soft rodent." He mused as he started to point to several of the meaty objects available. "So hey. Can I buy you something?" He added while holding up some of the gems. "Maybe you can help me figure out how to read an opponent...or maybe that's something that would take more then just one talk."

"Precisely. Some that boast of skill out loud do pose a threat. However, an over confident foe will fall faster and harder than any other. Becoming over confident in one's skill set often leads to the loss of practice. Even a Master must hone their talents. Even if they do continue to practice and stay at the level of a Master, going into a battle overly confident will often still end in their death. Confidence in moderation is healthy for a warrior, but too much of it breeds failure; mistakes are made far more often."

The man folded his arms across his chest and grunted. Why he was imparting any sort of wisdom at all onto the patchwork was beyond his grasp. Was his life of solitude and older age starting to catch up with him? Farrow's red eye glanced Bhinor from top to bottom, not in a flirtatious manner but rather sizing him up to determine whether he would be an appropriate... apprentice. "That one," he grumbled in a rougher tone of voice, pointing out a slab of meaty deliciousness. "I will teach you what I know. It will take more than just one discussion, depending on how willing your mind is to learn and retain information. Perhaps... should you ask it of me, I could even teach you the art of battle... if I decide I like you."

He grunted and turned his back on Bhinor to find a quiet place table to sit at, away from the crowds but relatively close to the food stall they ordered from. His entire life had been solitude, since a very young age. All that he had learned, he had taught himself. The loss of his eye was just one small shred of proof that he had made mistakes.
