A small fiery creature springs up from the arena's stones and darts at the challenger with a small fire dagger. HP:10

Shoshin smirked at his lively opponent, managing to dodge out of the way at the last second, sustaining only a small cut from the fire dagger. There was a slight burning sensation as the blade seared across his skin, but it was brief, and subsided almost as quickly as it came. There was a mischievous glint in his eyes as he lunged for the creature, aiming for his throat.

The creature darted to the side, taking a lesser blow due to its movement. It moved back in and aimed to sink the dagger into the mischievous challenger's side. HP:8

All of the air in Sho's lungs escaped him as the dagger was plunged into his side, just below his ribs. He gasped, surprised that the enemy was able to recover so quickly. Gritting his teeth, he aimed a kick at his foe's knees, hoping to injure their leg enough to slow them down. HP: 15

The creature seemed to grin as it succeeded in its strike. As it pulled back the blow connected and the creature retaliated by lashing out with its whip like tail. HP:6

Shoshin managed to grab the creature's tail, sustaining deep lacerations to his hands. He winced, but tried to maintain his grip with one hand and land a punch to the creature with his other hand. HP:12 Edit: It wasn't a two!!!

The creature hissed as it's tail was grabbed and flames flew off the creature from the blow. Crackling it stabbed at his hand with the fire dagger. HP:3

Sho shouted in agony as flames licked his skin. He almost immediately released the enemy's tail, and winced as the enemy's dagger came into contact with his injured hand. Pulling away as quickly as possible, Shoshin used his wings to fly just above his opponent before aiming a kick at the creature's head and allowing himself to drop like a stone. HP:9

The little creature burst into a spray of flames at the kick, soundly defeated.

Round #2After the challenger had been given a while to rest flames appeared and swirled about until it formed a copy of the spunky challenger. It smirked a flaming smirk and beckoned for the boy to make the first strike. HP:20

Shoshin, having also rested up, decided to try to aim for the throat again. He swiftly approached the opponent, doing his best to guard himself while striking the opponent's throat. HP: 20 (I can assume he rested up too?)

The blow to the neck connected and the fire apparition crackled before ready ng a fiery hand out for the challengers throat. HP:17 chiyochan64 (yeah,forgot to say so. Xp)

The hand barely hit his throat, and Sho made sure to strike the opponent's abdomen with full force. At such a close range, he left himself open, but knew he could better attack the opponent at a closer distance. HP: 19
