Name Ryuzaki
Age 22
Bio Ryu grew up without any parental guidence since his parents pretty much left him to fend for himself. They were around but they were never home when he was. After he learned to become self efficient that was when they started going away for longer periods of time. When he was in high school he formed a band and they were known through their town. He is the lead guitarist and lead vocals of the band. Since he is in a band he doesn't go to college or doesn't have another job however he makes enough to pay his own way.
Personality He speaks the truth and has no filter when it comes to language. He says what he wants when he wants. He seems rough around the edges at first but the more someone gets to know him the kinder he is.

Age 20
Bio He was adopted from Korea by a nice American woman when he was 8 years old. He was raised by a single woman who was lesbian along with a little girl she had from her ex-husband. He soon lived with a loving household and soon realized he was gay when he took interest in men instead of women when he was in middle school. So in High School, he decided he wanted to attend the LGBT Pride Parade going on nearby, and so did his mom and little sister. So they both went and participated in fighting for equality. But then a group of religious extremists came in and attacked the parade goers. After that attack, some people have died from their injuries, including his mother and sister. He blamed himself for their death so as he grew up, he lied to himself that he was straight so he started dating women and tried to pretend this was who he was.
Now he is moving into an apartment, trying to finish Med School so he could become a Veternarian, he had always loved animals after all.
Personality He is an independent person; ever since he had to live on his own when he was 14. He is also generous and has tried to be optimistic even though his life is not as great as it should be. He is also courageous always trying to do what is right. However, he can be a bit moody which contributes to his short-temper. He can be a bit impulsive and impatient as well, but he tries to cover it up as he knows no one wants a friend like that.

ShadowStream-chan I hope this was enough sweatdrop  RyuzakiRyuzaki sighed as he held a newspaper in his hand looking for any apartment to move into at this point. When he saw one that looked within his budget he immediate got up from the park bench that he was sitting on. He looked at the name of the street that he was on then the address of the apartment and smiled. He wasn't that far from it. Ryu grabbed his guitar case and slung it over his shoulder before he began running toward the street that the buding he needed was on. He kept running down a few streets using a couple of side streets to arrive at his destination quicker. Once there he looked up at the number of the building then back at the paper. When he confirmed that it was the same he walked up to where there were a bunch of buttons. He looked back the paper wondering if it told him which apartment number to buzz. When he found what he needed he smiled and pressed the button speaking into the mic "Hello, my name is Ryuzaki and I'm here about the roommate thing. Sorry I didn't call first this was sorta last minute" He said in a respective tone.
He wanted to make a first good impression on whoever was currently renting out the apartment. He looked down at himself and huffed some since his clothes were probably way to out there for this person. He tried to fix himself up some as he waited for a buzzing sound that indicated that he could go into the building. He pushed his glasses up on his face regretting not putting in his contacts before he got up. As he waited he rocked back and forth on his heels tapping his fingers to a rythem that was currently stuck in his head that he had been toying around with trying to come up with a new song for his band.

Black_Veil_Brides290 I had nop access to the computer but my phone. It's why I didn't respond as quickly as I would like. I wanted to pretty post so I had to wait for access to at least a tablet. ◯ ● ◯ ● ◯ ● ◯ ● ◯ ● ◯ ● ◯ ● ◯ ● ◯ ● ◯ ● ◯ Kyle: College Student OOC;; It was just a regular day inside the apartment that he had just gotten a little over a month ago. It was a 2 bedroom, 1 1/2 bath apartment that included a nice kitchen, dining table with chairs, and a living space. He knew eventually he would need to get a roommate so he had to have an ad asking for one. Kyle sat down on the computer doing some work for college over the internet when he suddenly heard a clicking sound from the speaker next to the door. Someone named Ryuzaki was calling over the roommate ad and apologized for a last minute response. "Sigh, can't do anything about it I guess." He stood up wearing only a basic t-shirt and jeans as he was HOPING for him to call before arriving. He then went to the speaker and clicked on a few buttons so that it would grant him entry, hopefully down below it would say he had permission to enter. He had to take a breath again as he knew it was a guy...unfricking believable. He was hoping it was a girl, girls were more open to someone being gay....if it ever slipped out anyways. He still doesn't want to though cause it only seemed to hurt everyone around him, and caused the death of his little sister and mother. He had to fight it...one way or another. Now he had to wait for the guy to show up, hopefully he looked like someone that can pay the bills, the last minute thing was a strike one in Kyle's case. ShadowStream-chan I'm sorry Shadow sweatdrop Ryuzaki Ryuzaki heard the buzzer that let him. He opened the door and made his way up the steps and down the hall his boots echoing in the empty hallways. He rubbed his arm up and down biting his bottom lip as he neared the door. He took a shaky breath as he raised his fist to knock on the door but paused having second thoughts about this. He turned his back to the door as he hugged his flat stomach trying to calm his nerves. He knew he needed this but what if the other male didn't like him, or accept him. Ryu turned to face the door again closing his eyes he knocked on the door indicating that there was no turning back for him now. He opened his eyes as he waited for the door to open. Ryu gulped some as he waited.

He could've just opened the door, it's not like it was locked. But he got out anyways and then had opened the door right there. He had to blink in horror seeing the guy. It took a lot of effort to not make a horrified face, this guy DEFINITELY couldn't pay the rent at all! But he cannot just turn the guy away, that was asking for a lawsuit. A lawsuit that could not be paid for by this student. He slowly just opened the door all the way so the guy could come in and look at the place, and so did Kyle. It was his goodbye before the place got totally trashed by this guy. Now he'll have to establish rules about whose coming over and the curfew so this student can sleep and attend classes. "So...Ryuzaki right? I'm Kyle. I would've appreciated if you called but I'll let it go this time. The ad probably told you enough as it is so I won't repeat it. I will show you the potential room." He had tried to keep it somewhat professional as he opened the door to an empty bedroom that had a nice full-size bed, small desk, and a 30" inch TV. Attached to that room would be a bathroom with a nice size tub with jets, bathroom counter with two sinks and a separate room with the shower and toilet. Kyle's room was the same except his bathroom was a bit smaller, just a small counter with sick, and toilet...nothing fancy like this. Kyle didn't want the fancy stuff. and he could easily wash his hair over the sink since mostly he had it in a ponytail anyways. "This would be your living space, you can decorate it however you please." He then remarked in his thoughts that the guy will probably have to pay for it to be decorated though. Ryuzaki Ryuzaki nodded when the male restated his name for clarification. He looked around the the apartment and whistled. He was truly impressed with how spacious and nice it looked. It made almost not want to sit anywhere. He didn't want to scruff up the floor so he took off his shoes leaving him in his socks. He set his guitar down in the corner before following Kyle to his bedroom. It was spacious and felt homey. He turned to Kyle with a slight smile "oh by the way, hope it isn't a problem that I'm not straight" he said openly. He wanted to be up front about his sexuality before anything was said and done.
Ryuzaki pondered at the question about his job and rubbed the back of his neck"I'm in a band...I play lead guitar and I'm the lead vocalist. We have a gig every week and paid each gig, anywhere between $200-$250 per gig..." By the looks of it Kyle wasn't impressed by Ryu at all so far so mentioning that he was gay and had a band probably didn't strike the right chord either with Kyle. He waited nervously for Kyle to speak.

That definitely told him this was risky having this guy as a roommate. He had to think about it more...The guy said they had a gig every week and the pay was around 200-250 dollars per gig. It meant per month he earned 800-1000 dollars a month. That did give he boy some sense of security, but he felt insanely jealous this guy could be gay while Kyle couldn't...it felt unfair. "No...it doesn't matter the sexuality I just want a roommate with a steady income, and it seems like the income for you will be fine. This place asks for 850-900 dollars a month. I have a job as a vet tech so I get about 2,400 dollars monthly...but it helps pay for my school. I want someone that can pay 50% of the income for now. I'll handle anything that happens in the apartment and food...rent is what I need anything. I work 40 hours a week, except weekends. So...what band are you exactly?" He then looked at the door. "Was there any luggage you had with you?" He was trying to indicate that the guy was accepted to stay here but he knew he was never clear of that sort of thing. Ryuzaki Ryu looked at Kyle"after I pay half of the rent I can pay for half of the groceries too or if something breaks in the apartment I can help pay for that" he said "you don't have to do it all" He offered to Kyle. He didn't know what was Kyle's deal but he hoped Kyle would soon warm up to him. He rubbed the back of his neck shaking his head at the male's question "No I don't. What I did have my previous roommate sold pretty much everything except my guitar" he explained but shrugged it off like it was nothing or he didn't care. He left the room to grab his guitar and came back. He laid it on his bed and looked at Kyle "oh and don't worry I won't party or anything. My band mates and I don't do that. We're serious about our work. As for our name we're known as Dragons Ascend" Adrien rubbed the back of his neck some as he put his other hand in his pocket not sure what to do now. For now he'd be on his best behavior until Kyle was comfortable around him

Wow. you're the guys that is coming out of many people's mouths. I have to admit that I was intrigued as well." He then blinked a couple of times when the guy said that his previous roommate sold everything. "Does he have the right to do that?' He had to ask since it seemed like Ryu didn't care in all honestly. "Would you need to practice here or do you have your own studio?" It was more of curiosity than a standard he wanted to set. "And you sti didn't answer on what types of food you like." He then could see there was nothing else he could do so he turned his head to the TV. Ryuzaki Ryu shook his head "No he didn't but my hands were tied because of the job I chose and my past" he sighed some then looked at Kyle with a smile "its okay though. He'll get what he deserves. Karma always gets payback" he said. He then blinked when Kyle actually knew who they were "have you listened to some of our stuff?" He asked "I mean I knew we had a decent size fanbase but not a huge one" he said in a slightly surprised tone. He shook his head "sorry, I actually eat anything and am willing to try anything. As for our practice sessions we practice at our drummer's place in his garage" he said rubbing the back of his neck.
He looked to the TV and nodded "thanks, I appreciate that. Oh! You might occasionally hear me play my guitar and slightly aing from time to time...hope that isn't a problem for you" he said blushing some since he was still slightly self conscious of his singing even though he was the lead vocalist.

Because it would make him feel better after all. He then heard him ask if he had heard some of his stuff. He then pointed at his computer. "You seen Youtube? I watch it through there while doing work." He then nodded when he explained about his food eating and also where he practices. "Good....enough I guess. And Guitar playing is fine...as long as it is not late at night." He then heard a ding from the computer as it was his work place saying he was not needed tomorrow since it was going to be a slow day. "Since you don't have much, you wanna go shopping? Ryuzaki Ryuzaki looked at his computer then nodded with a slight smile "I'm always glad to meet a fan" he said lightly patting Kyle's back. He hoped Kyle would eventually warm up to him more as they got to know each other better. Ryu wasn't a bad guy even though he dressed like it. Most people avoided him on the streets or whisper about him. As he got to thinking about this he rubbed the back of his neck having second thoughts about this. Kyle seemed to be a nice guy and didn't want to bring that kind of trouble to him " Hey um I'd understand if you don't want to have me around. The way I look and stuff...people talk and stuff..." He blinked some about getting clothes and stuff. He continued rubbing the back of his neck "you um don't want this months rent? I got it but it'll be the last of my money but I don't mind at all"
