Nadia stretched in her pile of pillows, high up in her room. She had left the door opened in case Auguste got up and needed to leave Pasha, as well as if she needed to rouse enough to get up for Colin.

They had been practicing at DCBC for her acceptance into the company, and after his show, he still took the time to do a couple of segments of a dance. They had come home exhausted, Colin more so, and she had offered them a fluffy futon with a nice bed covering and couple of pillows. She had pillows to spare.

And she had warned her curly friend that a pup was around, one he had met already, so if she didn't wake him, it was like going to be Pasha.

What she had not expected is rolling out of bed to start her day, brushing her hair but still remaining in her lazy pajama's and coming out to see Auguste pinned against his door staring wide eyed at the man on the futon.

"Good morning Auguste. This is Colin..." She murmured as she came down from her bedroom.

Auguste had been sound asleep when Nadia had gotten home, burrowed into his own bundle of pillows. Living with her had so far been very pleasant; she was an easy roommate, and took to Pasha well - or rather, better than well, since when Auguste was not around, his dog was attached to Nadia.

When he woke on that particular day, he padded out of his room still in his pajamas, saw the figure on the couch, and immediately ran back, plastering himself against his door. Which was how Nadia found him, staring in wide-eyed fascination at the intruder.

"Mon cher," Auguste breathed, and dragged his gaze away to look at his roommate. "Il est le prince!"

Which was probably not helpful. He dragged himself together and smoothed back some of his hair, Auguste moving so he wasn't looking quite so ridiculous. "Colin?" he repeated, belatedly getting what she'd said. "He is the prince from Cinderella! I saw him, that night I went to the ballet! You know him?"

Tired as he'd been, Colin had taken Nadia up and crashed on her couch. He'd been sluggish in the shower, zombie-like pulling pajamas pants on, and all but collapsed onto the offered futon to fall into a deep sleep. Deep enough that even if the fluffy white puppy had come out, sat on his chest and licked his face, Colin wouldn't have done more than roll over.

But in the morning, after he'd gotten a good bit of sleep? He'd stretched and glanced at his phone, seen the ungodly hour and decided there was no way in hell he was getting up to jog. Thus, when Auguste came out and saw him, he'd been sleeping lightly, blissfully unaware of the turmoil his appearance would cause.

The sound of scrambling feet and voices roused him, however, so by the time Auguste was smoothing himself over and explaining why their guest was the prince, Colin was sitting up and rubbing sleepily at his face with one hand and pushing back his unruly mop with the other. "Mmm?" Ah, that's right. I stayed over at Nadia's. "Morning." Voice rough like voices tend to be, first off, he finally looked over at Nadia's roommate and blinked a bit. The guy I saved after the show! Small world. Sometimes, he would have sworn that his life was one giant circle-jerk of people he knew suddenly showing up multiple times...sometimes in multiple forms.

"Hi." Colin gave Auguste a bit of a smile and got his voice working slightly above the level of caveman, "I hope you enjoyed the show." It was kind of awkward to be the only one sitting, so he stretched and pushed up out of the warm blanket to stand. Shirtless but in Stark Trek patterned bottoms, he immediately went over to shake Auguste's hand like the professional he could be. "She knows me," He confirmed, "And now, so do you."

On stage, he was beauty and grace, regal and commanding. In person? He was a giant puppy and a nerd. Currently, he was also a horrible case of bed-head from sleeping on damp hair.

Nadia's brow rose at Auguste switch to french, and she understood the jist of what was said. Something Love or Dear, and a point at Colin calling him the prince?

He must've seen one of Colin's shows, and by the looks of him, He seemed to be a fan. That was good, she mused, because he'd probably see Colin over enough.

"I meant to text you, but it was late and I didn't want to wake you." She yawned slowly, coming over to kiss the white haired youth on the cheek. "Yes, he is. He's my very dear friend." She giggled and then moved over to the sleepy Colin, tipping his chin up to place a very chastise kiss on his lips.

"Colin darling, I love to see you undressed in my apartment..." She teased, "I'm going to put some coffee on." She would leave the two boys to stare at each other why she did so, padding into the kitchen and over to the coffee maker.

Auguste de Saint-Meran was a young man of strong intelligence and birth, and had been raised to be calm, composed, and otherwise respectful of all whom he met; the perfect example of poise and gracefulness that would set an example for others.

At present, he was absolutely none of these things.

Nadia's kiss to his cheek was received with a certain amount of secret pleasure, because Auguste was quite fond of affection, even if he didn't show it outwardly. He stared in unabashed awe as she moved to the other - (the prince, his head repeated), and kissed him as well, Auguste just standing there stupidly throughout the process.

"Vous savez le prince?" he breathed, and then dragged himself back out of his first language and back to English. This was not the dashing prince of the play, with his ornate outfit and elegant manner - this young man was rough voiced and wearing patterned pajama pants, and was standing with his hand out towards him. His hair was also...interesting...

Auguste stared at it, then back up at the prince - Colin.

"Enchanté," he said breathlessly, and grasped Colin's hand. "I'm so very pleased to meet you, I thought you were wonderful in the play."

All the blond could do when faced with Nadia's gentle teasing and affection was smile and take it with as much grace as he could manage first thing in the morning. "Beautiful, complimenting me, and making coffee, Nadia you are my favorite person." Words directed at her retreating back; he'd definitely be chasing a cuppa joe once it was ready...but until then? He had a new friend to make!

"De même." Colin answered Auguste in kind, green eyes bright with amusement. "Thank you, I do my best!" Usually. "You should come again, with Nadia. She likes having someone attractive on her arm." He chuckled and gave the other man's hand a squeeze before releasing it. "I'm afraid you've caught me at less than my best...I was being lazy today." Had he not, Auguste might not have seen him at all that morning - and visa versa - wouldn't that have been a pity?

"You like ballet then?" He seemed too excited about the performance and meeting Colin to not be, but...sometimes people went for other reasons. Quenton went for multiple reasons - or would - as did Nadia. Elzo went to support the arts and also so he could elbow in on the pretty girls fluttering around his 'friend, the Prince'.

"I've always known the way to your heart, love." She teased, as the coffemaker beeped to life and the slow drip emitted the heavenly earthy scent. She went about to making some food, eggs, bacon. For Colin, she pulled out whole wheat morning rounds. Apple Cinnamon and popped them in the toaster. She had granola and yogurt if he wanted, but otherwise, the bacon was for Auguste and herself.

As they talked, she went about her morning rituals, cleaning old dishes, laying out new ones. Feeding Pasha who was at his bowl already. Her round about trip took her out to her patio, where she took a small watering can and watered the layered shelves of herbs she had, and switched to the shelves of small flowers she had.

"I forgot to ask for tickets for him Colin." She spoke a little loudly from her spot outside. "He often wanders from home, I didn't realize it was to watch you!" She smiled brightly from her spot where the window and her living room met.

Auguste was watching Colin and Nadia with an expression of mingled awe and amazement - and probably a little envy as well, because she knew the prince, and that was astounding to him. It was like learning that your friend was best friends with your idol, and for this, Auguste felt utterly excited, even if he didn't show it outwardly.

"You live a very magical life!" he called after Nadia before turning back to Colin, and he beamed brightly at the return French. The compliment made him flustered, and he shuffled his feet, Auguste smoothing his hair back away from his face and trying not to look like he'd just woken up, even though he had.

"I would love to come and watch you again, it was delightful to see such a beautiful play done by such a talented young man!" he said breathlessly - probably a little too enthusiastic. And he wasn't about to comment on Colin's less-than-princely appearance, because he still felt prince-like, even without the crown and the uniform.

"I love the theatre in general!" said Auguste with a smile, and Pasha yipped at Nadia, bouncing excitedly around her ankles. "I especially love ballet, though alas, it has been rather sad that I could not dance myself the way I wished I could. I used to take lessons, but I fell out of them, always such a disappointment."

Though he had mostly grown used to having people practically heart-eye at him when he was on stage and in costume, it was a bit different to have your friend's roommate doing it while you were wearing Star Trek pajamas and quite possibly looked like Rough and Tumble had their way with you. "You don't know the half, Auguste. Nadia is magic!" As were the scents starting to come from the kitchen area.

Colin gave a good natured chuckle; so Nadia had forgotten, hmm? "Well, I'll get it taken care of. I actually brought a set of tickets with me - no date or time stamped, so you can go when you like. 'S in my bag, but I'm not digging 'em out until I've eaten." Actually, they weren't technically tickets, but open-ended passes usually reserved for family. Colin was just charming and persuasive - and valuable enough - and often got them for people he cared about (or, in Auguste's case, someone his friend cared about).

"Be sure to come up after the show when you do, give me an excuse to bow out gracefully. Last night I was there for almost an hour and a half after curtain..which wouldn't have been so bad but that costume is hot." And he'd been slightly dehydrated, as per usual after a show under the hot lights. Colin sounded fond though; he really enjoyed meeting the public after, getting to shake hands and even press princely kisses to offered hands. Besides, the sheer joy he could put on a little girl's face by kneeling and taking her hand...it made the joy he got dancing even better. God help him if more people figured out what a kindly push-over he was as Nadia had!

"Ah, then you must find living with Nadia quite a treat, she's a wonderful ballerina as well. Sometime soon you'll be coming to the Theatre to see us both on stage, I bet." Oh ho, if Auguste wanted to be a dancer, Colin could certainly point him in the right direction, though truthfully he was a bit old to be restarting on a career path. At least, these were the sorts of things that ran through the blond's mind in rapid succession...until the scent of bacon - which he would not be eating - got strong enough to overpower the cinnamon. At that point his brain shifted from business to breakfast.

"So, beautiful," He called to Nadia, "Need any help? You know I'm handy in the kitchen." That prompted another thought, "You still have yogurt, yes?" Or something else he'd be able to eat; Nadia now kept a small stock of things a vegetarian like Colin would eat, beyond her usual groceries...just like he kept a small stock of things that she, Aleksy, or Lorne might enjoy. Or Bjorn, though that was far less likely.

"But really Auguste, you're welcome to come see us practicing some time." Colin's eyes narrowed with mischief, "Or maybe you'd like to join us pole dancing? Nadia's gotten quite good."

Nadia felt like she was an observer to the beginning of a huge crush from her roommate on one of her best friends. Like when Colin left, she was sure Auguste would gush and heart eye at her as well.

"Magical." She laughed from her spot in the kitchen, because how true was it? She was a magical girl, literally. It was hard to deny her life had become very magical. "Welcome to it, Auguste, you'll be living a very magical life with me too." She slipped some bacon to Pasha, wiping as much grease as she could away.

She made a humming sound at her terrible memory before staring at the two again. Colin, always so thoughtful though.

"There is yogurt in the very far back." Nadia toed the fridge open for him to see. "Breakfast is ready though, if you are both hungry." She smiled at Auguste, gesturing him over. "Come here cutie, you need to eat to keep all that loving gaze going." She teased.

Colin could have come out in a trash bag with some leaves in his hair and Auguste still probably would have fawned over him, because this was the prince. He could still remember the enthralling, graceful way he'd danced onstage, the elegance in each and every movement, the strength and beauty in his body and eyes. It wasn't exactly a crush (not yet, at least), since he didn't even know the man, so much as it was just simple and utter amazement and awe that such a person could even exist.

He was a little flustered at the offer, Auguste waving his hands and trying to ignore the fact that his hair was probably all over the place and he looked like he'd just woken up - which he had. "Oh, that's incredibly generous of you, please, I didn't mean to imply that you had to get me tickets, I would be more than willing to pay to see you perform!"

Auguste's expression shifted to one of almost-embarrassment-but-not-quite to one of stifled amusement, which he hid behind his hand, a smile touching his lips. "I meant to come up and, er, get your autograph or something that night I went," he admitted, a little ruefully, and Auguste dropped his hand back down. "But, ah...things happened, and I wound up not being able to after all."

Like being attacked in an alleyway by a slimy creature that resembled a giant centipede and being saved by a man in a fluffy outfit. Not that he'd told Nadia this yet, because he hadn't had a chance to. Auguste's gaze flickered towards his roommate, a big smile on his face.

"I have yet to see her perform, but something tells me it would be more than a little magical."

He felt a little like he'd stepped into some sort of magical fantasy land; Auguste lived with a beautiful ballerina who was not only incredibly nice, but also friends with the prince that had been so breathtaking on stage at the ballet. It was almost a little overwhelming at just how fortunate he was, Auguste kind of waiting to see if the other shoe dropped at some point.

"Oh, yes, breakfast," said Auguste, shaking himself out of his inner reverie and beaming at Nadia. The loving gaze comment managed to pull a very slight blush to his cheeks, but he laughed anyway, settling himself at the table while Pasha ran around, looking for his own food.

Auguste would likely someday come to understand just how generous Colin could be with those around him. He might not have always looked like a prince, but he often acted like one...or barring that, he'd treat people as though they were royalty. He was just that sort of fellow.

Which was why when Auguste started waving his hands over the offer, the danseur very gently put his foot down. "I insist. It's not a problem, really." Colin smiled at his new friend warmly, "Besides, it's just one show in the season." Auguste's demeanor shifted a bit as he recounted the night they'd met for the first time (though the pale haired man had no idea that he and Aegir were one and the same). "Ah, that's too bad. If you still have the program I'd be happy to sign it...or you can wait and do it when you come see me dance again." He would not be taking 'no' for an answer, clearly.

"Stick around and I am sure she'll drag you to a practice or something." Either via Nadia or himself, since they both liked to drag their friends along while they were working.

Colin slipped into the kitchen to dig through the fridge Nadia had toed open, fetching the yogurt from the back with a triumphant sound. "Found it!" Once he'd gotten it he joined Auguste at the table for breakfast, humming a bit as he watched Pasha's hunt. "He's adorable, by the way." I wonder what Ash thinks of him....can't imagine she likes a bouncy puppy too much.

"Don't argue Auguste, He'll be here tomorrow giving you the same tickets you don't take today." Nadia waved her fork around, pointing it at her white haired roommate. "He's very, very persuasive." She smiled at the dancer as he came over.

Then she poked him with her free hand. She followed his gaze down to Pasha and smiled. "Auguste hasn't met Ash yet, but she tried to slip in not too long ago. She was....not very happy." She pointed to the cutie on the floor. "That one tried to slobber all over her. You know Ash was having none of that."

To Auguste, "You'll see me." She nodded, "I drag Lorne sometimes, you are free to come as well." She took a bite of her breakfast, then turned to feed the small pup, since he was giving her the eyes.

She was such a sucker for eyes.

"I would - yes, that would be very good if you could sign it after I watch you dance again," said Auguste, somewhat flustered by this kind offer, though he tried not to show it too much, a light pink dusting his cheeks. It was half from embarrassment, half simply out of excitement. "I look forward to seeing you perform once more."

He somehow could tell, even without Nadia saying so, that Colin was not the type to take no for an answer so easily. Auguste toyed with the ends of his hair - which was in a very sleep-mussed braid still - as he sat at the table, watching the two of them at work.

"Ah, thank you," he said, smiling down at the puppy in question. Pasha bounced around excitedly at his ankles. "He's quite the little stinker sometimes, but Nadia was actually the one to help me out with getting him settled, I much appreciate it."

He gave his roommate a cheerful look, and then beamed. "Lorne is the boyfriend, yes? And watching you dance as well, would be delightful!"

Colin leaned in to give Nadia a light smack on the cheek, chuckling and then winking at Auguste as he slid into his seat. "She knows me well, so it's good you've given in." As he added yogurt to his place, the blond nodded to his new friend, "Of course I will. Someday, it'll be worth some money too."

Hearing of Ash's introduction to the adorable puppy made the dancer lean back in his chair to laugh, a bit of his delicious breakfast having been saved from consumption by the telling. "Poor Ash, I hope she forgives you. And Pasha." Once he was able to sit up properly again, he tucked into breakfast, chewing with a happy sigh.

"Hm? Mmmhm, Lorne's 'the boyfriend'. He's a friend of mine also...and we sometimes trick him into going dancing with us too." Colin leaned conspiratorially towards Auguste, "He's a bit shy, but he's a great guy. I think you'll like him."

"Oh, want some yogurt? I know it's not bacon and Nadia keeps it mostly for me, but I'm happy to share." He was also happy to play footsie with Nadia under the table, poking at her ankles and toes with his own while looking suspiciously innocent - just like a big kid might have.
