Bio:

Dominic was born and raised within the large city known as Goldenrod in the Johto region. He lived with his parents and two younger sisters along with a couple of Pokémon his father owned. But most of the time he would keep them in their balls and waits to take them out until competing. Due to his mother working at the office and his father focusing on training to go against the league, Dominic was most of the time babysitting his younger siblings. This actually made them grow closer. When their parents finally come home, his father would explain all the new moves his Pokémon learned to try and convince his children to join the league as well. His sisters seemed to be up for the challenge. Dominic, on the other hand, mainly was interested in art and didn't seem to care for training.

During his days in Goldenrod, Dominic would spend time either drawing in his apartment while watching his siblings or walking around looking for various sources of inspiration to put in his pictures. He would also try and incorporate his sisters in the process by making them tag along. A few years past and his aunt, uncle, and cousins soon moved in on the floor bellow them. Dominic now would go down with his sisters to stay there until his parents come back.

Things soon changed when his mother came home early one day from work. She was rather tired and exhausted, just like all the rest of the days before. As it turns out she was fired due to showing up late that morning. Dominic and his sisters didn't seem to have a problem with that... That is until a month later when the bills started to pile up. Even though his father was trainer it was hardly enough to help with his family.

His aunt chipped in with paying for his family. They even offered them to stay there. But Dominic knew there wasn't enough room. Plus with her splitting her wages between his family and hers was very stressful. Luckily his father lightened the burden on her shoulders by moving his family to his parents house. Dominic refused due to having so many friends and family there. But unfortunately he had no choice and they soon moved to Azelea Town.

It was quite an adjustment to the young Dominic due to the calm atmosphere and quite that was in the town. But he soon grew to like it because of that... He remember how sometimes it would become too loud in the city. Here he didn't really need to worry about that. But there was still the problem with him and finding new friends. The people there were kind and very helpful to his parents when trying to get them back on their feet yet Dominic was a bit too shy to ask the kids his age to play.

A few more years pass and he had finally made a couple of friends. One of which he was very fond of... Piper was a bit stubborn at first and intimidated Dominic but it soon turned into a friendship when they found out they both adored art. Piper would also talk about how much she loved the stars and even explained how much she would love to travel to space one day. She would bring Dominic along in the evening to do a bit of star gazing. He would listen to every star, constellation, and moon phase she would say. Dominic even memorized a couple of them himself.

As time past they finally became a couple when Piper gave him a star piece during star gazing one night. In return he painted a landscape which shown the evening sky fading to night. She absolutely loved it. Since then he would always wear the star piece around his neck as a reminder of Piper and the stars.

But soon they began to grow apart. Piper couldn't spend as much time as she wanted with Dominic and soon decided they should end their relationship He was devastated. He even thought that someday they could even move in together and get married. But it seems as if his plans were ruined once she explained to him. Yet Dominic would continue to look up at the stars. He could only point out a few but without Piper he could only stare up and wonder.

By now Dominic has acquired the habit of painting or drawing different things in the evening. He wouldn't come back inside until it became too dark, then he would walk back in and do the same the next day. His parents always question why he would continue to star gaze, even without Piper. He would usually just shrug and continue with his art.

His parents soon developed concern for their son and wondered if maybe they could do something to cheer him up from the break up as well as motivate him. His father soon left for a while to do some training. After a few days he came back with a gift for Dominic and his sisters. His gift was a small cyndaquil. It was rather shy and seemed to shy away from the children for a while. Dominic eventually got closer to the small fire then he intended.

He eventually named the cyndaquil after Vincent Van Gogh, the author of his favorite painting Stary Night. He would follow him down in the evening and help create light for Dominic for him to stay longer. He would sometimes even dip Vincent's feet into the paint for him to help with more abstract art.

Soon he decided that he would go and create artwork for a living. His mother tried to explain that he should try doing something else just because being an artist doesn't pay that much. But Dominic was determined and started to sell his work for profit. Once he (barely) got enough money he decided to continue his life as an artist.

He finally made the choice of traveling to the Kodo region due his interest in the island. The day finally came when it was time for him to leave. His father insisted that he should take the cyndaquil along with him. Dominic agreed and takes the young Pokémon with him. His family takes him to Olivine City to ride on the boat to Sandalwood City.

Description:

Dominic was always described as very quiet. He doesn't really like to speak that often, which made it very hard for him to be assertive. He would often go to others to help him stand up for himself. Dominic is also known as a wall flower that observes different things, yet he would usually keep it to himself instead of causing rumors. He would write them down occasionally but most of the time doodle small comics about it. He would usually keep that to himself as well. Besides that, Dominic would always try his hardest for the things he loves and cares greatly for. He would quickly make as much time for them as possible and leave other things behind. But when two things he cares for come up he would usually have a lot of trouble deciding. He has always has a passion for art even as a child. Dominic would have papers covered in doodles in his room which showed how very disorganized he can be. He can also be very unprepared for things both physically and mentally.

Vincent is Dominic's very loyal and helpful starter. He was hatched in the care of a Veteran trainer who was good friends with Dominic's father. When he described how down his son was acting he quickly offered if one of his Typhlosion's offspring would help. His father was quite thankful and brought back the young cyndaquil for his family.

Soon Dominic was spending more and more time with the cyndaquil and ended up naming him Vincent after a famous artist. Their bond was strengthened when his father insisted on making Dominic take the Pokémon with him to his new home. After a while he agreed and they have been closer ever since.

Vincent is quite shy in front of new people, just like his trainer. He also is very interested in art just as his trainer is. He loves to sit and watch Dominic paint and draw.
