((No one needs to realize how back dated this is....>.<))

There is was. Lying there on her desk as innocent as every other pen she owned. Sitting there, the strange device was far too easy to overlook it. Too quickly it could be assumed that its owner just had the unfortunate fate of being gifted a rather silly looking writing instrument.

But Delilah knew better what it was. What she was told it was at least.

Resting her head on her folded arms, she gazed eye level with the device. It appeared to be harmless. But appearances might be deceiving. Appearances meant very little now.

Reaching out with one hand, her head shifting to lay on her left arm, Delilah flicked the red end of the pen with her fingers. It gave a half spin before stopping once more and just sitting there innocently.

A red and white pen with the outline of a dove on it. A pen that magically appeared when a talking cat showed up when she was being chased by a mouse. ”And the cat couldn’t just have killed the mouse because….” Delilah groaned as she sat up in her chair and threw her head back. After figuring out how to get out of that stupid looking outfit, Delilah had nearly sprinted back home, thrown the device in her bag, and fallen asleep.

It hadn’t been a dream.

That thing was still sitting in her bag when she woke up. Now, she had dared to touch it again. Seemed harmless enough.

But there was one more test. One more way to make this pen out to be nothing more than the inspiration of a nightmare. That’s all it was. A nightmare.

Reaching out, she took the pen in her right hand and turned it over. ”A dream…” And yet the words were so clear. What she was supposed to say and do.

Closing her eyes, she lifted the pen up and whispered so that her parents could not here down below ”Phact Star Power, Make up!”

Her hand suddenly felt empty Her breath caught in her throat. And then she opened her eyes and looked down.

It was not a dream. Not even a day dream.

Even sitting there in that chair, Delilah White had changed into something else. Something that was destined to make her life different. Something she did not have a clue what to do with! She was now, what's the word, a Senshi. Sailor Phact, Senshi of Doves is what the cat had called her. Destined for a mission she knew next to nothing about! Destined to fight the bad guys and save the world!

But one thing bothered her more than anything.…

”Why does this outfit have to look so tacky!” And her head hit the top of her desk once more.
