SDRP Member Feature
From its humble beginnings, SDRP has sought to provide roleplayers with thorough mentorship within a comfortable, friendly atmosphere. And, while we are a “school” of sorts, we see our members as more than just students. It isn’t enough to have a passion for the written word or a love for the game; it’s to possess an insatiable desire to improve, to tap into hidden potential, to harness and own the ability to create the impossible. Here, we've witnessed worlds molded, characters fleshed out, and adventures woven more times than we can possibly count--arriving by vehicles of tireless imagination, leaving deep impressions in their wake. They go by many names, but their goal is essentially the same: to tell a story.
But just who are these unsung masters of their craft?
We, at SDRP, would like to finally shed some light on those responsible behind the emerald curtain and show our gratitude by presenting a monthly featurette, dedicated to you, our fellow roleplayers. For we are nothing without you. heart

- Thornwick: What has roleplay taught you?
DraculasLittlePrincess
It's taught me to think out of the box...well even more out of the box that i usually do sometimes lol 4laugh I've also learned to go out of my comfort zone a bit, and to try my hand at playing characters with different personalities than i normally play.
Thornwick: What gets your creativity going?
DraculasLittlePrincess
Anything really, music, watching videos, seeing what others have done. Really it could just be a random thought that pops into my head, or even a dream that i've had. You'd be surprised how many of my story ideas, or ideas for parts of a story, have come from dreams i've had. 3nodding .
Thornwick: Besides roleplaying, what else about SDRP piques your interest?
DraculasLittlePrincess
I do like some of the raffles and contests that are held. The holiday ones always look like fun, but i never really have tried to enter them, or think about it but never get around to doing it. sweatdrop .
Thornwick: Have you applied what you’ve learned about roleplaying to real life projects?
DraculasLittlePrincess
Well yes and no. I haven't actually be writing my stories as much, but i've recently been looking over a story that i was working on for a while now and i hopefully will start working on it again and possibly apply what i've learned from Roleplaying to that story and hopefully stories in the future.
Thornwick: Just for fun: Inspiration can be found everywhere. The most common source is music. Share your writing playlist with us:
DraculasLittlePrincess
I don't really have a writing playlist, but whenever i do listen to music, i always seem to visualize little scenes in my head that may (or in some cases may not) go with the song that i'm currently listening to.
Thank you, DraculasLittlePrincess, for indulging us with this interview. For those of you pressing to know more about this month's rising roleplaying star, feel free to stick around and chat! Stay tuned for next month’s member feature. It just might be you!
