His children were already out and about. So was his mating partner. On to the next adventures of their lives while Adelind had stayed in the same waters he'd raised his children. His tail, curling up in to a leafy bush deep under water. His body moving along with the waves, securely attached. Until the current pulled. HARD.. Another few tugs woke him, but already he was pulled in to the current, torn off his bush and pulled in. Circulating in a rough wave until the sound of a thud came. The world had been rushing before his eyes, puffs of brown smoke and bubbles. Thud.
When he finally awoke, he was greeted with sucker fish upon his head, a terrible migraine and now a huge shadow from the distance out in to the open ocean heading straight towards him. In an alarming rate. His eyes went big, the usual tranquil creature alarmed, had looked around in a hurry and pulled on his tail for the release of the bushes. As soon as that happened, he pulled the bushes with him in to a small cave, looking like some dead end with nearly all his body out with the bushes he'd dragged along. Scared.
He dug in to the cave only to find that it was sanded, and pushed his way in to a small tunnel that possible lead in to another part of the reef. The reef moved, with the vibration of the massive jaws slamming in to the hole. He could see it from above and felt the sucker fish chewing away at the gash on his head. "Thanks to you- we're not lunch." He chuckled. Shaking his head of some of the sucker fishes pressure as he moved down in to the reef. Following the tunnels within. Near death experience. Check.
His paws still shaking.
The vibration of the reef alarmed him. He didn't recognize this reef at all. Didn't know how strong it was.. but whatever massive creature that was.. with all those sets of teeth. He hoped it didn't collapse and expose them. His inners were also shaking of fear. His heart racing. What a way to wake up, and surely not anywhere near home...
