Misc: Cadmus Maximilian is essentially a vampire, who feeds on the bleed of people to absorb their strength and gain power. Nearly 402 years old, centuries of experience and training have lead to him being extremely skilled and developed in many areas, being a polymath. Having lead many live's, and had back to back training, in ninjistu, Kung Fu, parkour, climbing, and study such as Harvard, Princeton, MIT, Texas A&M and several others.

Unlike normal vampires however, Cadmus could in a way be seen as an "artificial" vampire. His plight is a result of being strucken by disease, which made his skin sensitive to sunlight and reduced his body to being in a near Coma like state, or down to incredibly low levels. After the near loss of function of his digestive tract, his body over compensated by increasing the size of his kidney and liver, decreasing his metabolism to nearly 1/30th of that of an ordinary person, and increasing the size of his heart. Nearly every organ in his body increased in efficiency to handle the gradual lack of nutrition. After a lack of ability to digest food, Cadmus was a rare member effected by the "white plague" (a plague which caused it's victims to become unusually pale due to anemia and a general loss of energy), and was eventually treated by being fed human blood in his coma like state. Quickly reviving, his body turned into a form more like a leach, extracting nutrients from the blood. His body also absorbed the blood directly into his blood stream, and with his weakened immune system did not respond to the differences in blood types. Replicating an effect equivalent to blood doping, he possessed nearly 20 times the hemoglobin of an ordinary person, which gave him much greater nutrient density and oxygen saturation in his blood. Despite the increased viscosity, his heart could handle the increased stress, and thus could pump the blood.

This increase in blood lead to an increase in athletic performance, in general, and significantly greater endurance. Transforming that endurance to raw strength and capabilities, Maximilian began to learn to hone his abilities, and became incredibly strong compared to his peers. An already strong and capable individuals, it enhanced his abilities drastically, especially for temporary bursts of extreme energy. It also increased his healing abilities drastically, which allowed him to recover quickly from intense exercises, as well as injuries. While ordinarily a person would bleed out quickly from certain attacks, the high level of platelets and general saturation of his blood stream would both reduce the extent of his injuries, increase his longevity when exposed to the attacks, and increase the healing times significantly enough (nearly 30 times higher) to prevent death. His general ability to resist bacteria also came as a result of this, as they lacked the ability to infiltrate his body, much like the copper blood of horseshoe crabs (despite lacking an immune system). The Amebocyte's which infected his bloodstream (Or, the "white plague"), eventually formed a symbiotic relationship with his body, which also assisted in cellular regeneration, immune system response, and nutrient transportation.

After several hundred years of developing his skillsets, training around the world and with plenty of exercise, he's developed superhuman levels of strength. As a by product of both raw strength increase and his endurance translating to being able to operate at his maximum levels for incredible lengths of period, Maximilian is unusually strong and fast. He's able to squat some 13,500 pounds, bench press 8,250 pounds, clean and jerk 6,000 pounds, and run a mile in 3 minutes. He as well can survive a fall from terminal velocity, or at at 120 mph (or from infinite heights), provided he is conscious and physically absorbs the impact, and has approximately 100 times the reaction time of an ordinary person (or twice as fast as Bruce lee). While his temporary bursts of strength can run out, he can absorb blood from victims to increase his strength in combat or sustain it, or with modern technology, dissolve the nutrients directly into his bloodstream. This is largely a result of the saturation levels of oxygen and nutrients in all of his organs, from his muscles and the like.

It's also quite likely that as a result of the disease, his generally fragile mental state before the exposure, and the hundreds of years he's spent alive, that he may in fact be slightly insane. He also has touches of dementia.
