Glitnir traveled to his Wonder on July 29th. He can travel again on August 12th.Earlier this night, Glitnir had sent a ring mail to Eden to invite her out for a little trip. Quote: To Eden Meet me at the alley by the corner of Ellis Street and Rand Road. I'll be there at 8:00 PM. If you're not there by 9, I'll assume you're busy. Did you get your signet ring yet? That will help me know if you're busy in the future. Anyway, what we're doing won't really be training, but it is an important step in learning about being a Knight. See you there! -Glitnir As he said he would, Glitnir waited in the alley, periodically checking the watch he had smuggled onto his powered form (simple: bring it along, drop it before transforming, put it back on). Hopefully Eden wasn't too far away; he didn't want to accidentally just miss her. He was looking forward to tonight's plans, anyway.

Evalia had been elbow deep in some homework, books opened and bookmarked, popcorn at the ready, multiple pencils sharpened and ready to go.
When suddenly there was a sparkle, and poof, there was a paper with a wax seal in front of her. She picked it up carefully and cracked the seal, suddenly a big grin breaking out across her face. She checked her little wrist watch - worn with the clock face over her pulse, like a weirdo -
Hmm... She had a little bit of time. Bubbles to homework, she would do it later. She hadn't eaten dinner, she had been to engrossed in her homework.
She pulled her hair back a hairtie, and started cooking. As fast as she could. Well... maybe cooking was the wrong word. She chopped and sliced, and placed things into boxes, but everything was either roasted vegetables that she had gotten ready earlier, a few piroshki stuffed with cheese, onion, mushrooms, potato, and few with meat, marked with little bacon crumbling on top, from the fridge. Some leftover Caprese salad, some fruits, and a couple of cans of izzies and bottles of water... all of it got stuffed into a lunchbox
Food was good, and she was certain she would be hungry come later. Glitnir hadn't said anything about training really, so she didn't expect there would be any stomach twisting fear accompanying her tonight, she hoped.
She checked her watch again, and crap, she needed to leave. She grabbed the now stuffed lunchbox, and scampered out the door, only briefly checking her phone to make sure she was heading in the right direction. As she got closer, and had checked to make sure there was no one watching or cameras near by she set the lunchbox down and stepped away from it ( just to be sure ). She powered up, scooped up the little metal box by the handle, and walked the last few blocks to the meeting spot, arriving at around 8:15 or so.
She suddenly felt very silly, like a small child attending her first day school, but accompanied by someone a whole grade above her. Which was silly, considering Eden had been a page a long time. She wasn't a particularly good page, but it wasn't exactly her first day powered up?
It was probably the lunch-box.
Eden peered around, looking for the much taller Squire.

The very shiny Cosmos page was hard to miss in the dimming light. Glitnir approached her, waving. "Eden, you're here! Not too late, either. Thanks for coming." He stopped a bit in front of her, his scales clinking together. "Today's 'assignment' is a bit different than our last one. There's no fighting or magic today. Instead, you're going to see my Wonder. So let me know when you're ready to get flung across the universe, then hold on tight!" It was then that he noticed the lunchbox she was holding. "What've you got there?"

Eden gave the tall squire a timid smile. " Hi, Glitnir! No problem, and thank you for inviting me. "
She blinked up at him, pale eyes wide in her face " Wait, your wonder. Like On MARS. " She sounded like someone just told her that she won a trip to Disneyworld or something.
" Im ready!! " She said, putting on her excited determined face, hands clutched together in fists infront of her, which held the lunchbox and lantern infront of her small frame.

" Oh... uh... I hadn't had dinner when I got your message, I was so wrapped up in studies. So I just threw some food together. You said it wasn't going to be "training" training so I wasn't sure how late we were going to be gone. " She laughed, realizing how foolish she sounded, and she hoped it didn't bother him to much. But she had this deeply ingrained need to feed everyone, so of course she had brought enough for two... or three people, depending on if you had a bottomless appetite like the tinyrainbow page.

"Yes, that's right! On Mars. Yes, you can breathe up there." Glitnir chuckled despite himself when he saw how eager the little Cosmos Page was to go up into space. "We'll be gone for a few hours, I think. It was probably a good call to bring food on your end. How long do you think it'll stay warm? It'll change whether we should eat before the tour or after. If it's something that needs to be warm, I mean." Already, he was trying to chart time lengths for each stop along the way. He held out his hand for Eden, getting ready for the world-jump. "If you're ready to go, hold on tight."

Eden kind of looked at the lunch box, as if it would speak the answers itself " Hmm... Probably an hour? Maybe a little longer? But honestly everything in here can be eaten cold and it will still be good. " She said with a happy nod. The bread of the piroshki's kept everything nice and warm really well, and even at room temperature they were fantastic. Just cold - like from the fridge - they weren't the best.
She was so excited " So whatever works, will be fine! " She switched her lantern to the hand that was holding the lunchbox, shoving it through the handle and gripping both with tiny fingers. With her now free hand, she held his offered hand, and stepped a little bit closer, blushing with excitement. She was going to get to go to spaaace! The prospect sounded a lot less daunting if she was going with someone. She was a little afraid if she went herself she would port herself into the void of space and die, or explode, or something.
She trusted Glitnir to not teleport her into a star and kill her or something.

"An hour should be enough for us to look at the courtrooms for a bit before we eat." Honestly, Glitnir was looking forward to eating Eden's cooking (at least, that's what he assumed was in the lunchbox); a person's cooking could sometimes clue you in to extra information. If he had to guess what the food would be like, it would be warm, homey and filling, maybe a little oversweetened if there was dessert in there. Probably not very spicy. He could guess what the food was later; he had to hop to his Wonder first. "All right, here goes. Get ready." Glitnir uttered his pledge, and the two lurched through space, soon landing in the lobby of the courthouse, with its benches and reception desk. "We're here, but my ancestor is probably waiting downstairs. He's been wanting me to do something for a while."

Eden had never teleported anywhere before, so it was a disorienting process, and she felt herself practically clinging to Glitnir, feeling dizzy and confused before she suddenly felt solid ground under her feet again. She had had grand ideas of keeping her eyes open, wondering if maybe she could capture a glimpse of the milky way from outside of the atmosphere of earth, but as soon as the world started to shift she had clamped her eyes shut and simply just held on.
Then they were on solid ground ( though not earth, she reminded herself ) she blinked her eyes open, curious but owlish at the same time, and took in the building around her. It looked like something you would see in a history book of earth, and it was fascinating.
" Oh right, your ancestor.... " wait.... so that meant he was DEAD? Eden hadn't considered it before. Was he like a zombie? A Ghost? Time traveler? Eden suddenly felt like she should have been asking more questions than she had been. " Hes not going to be angry I'm here... is he? " She suddenly sounded a little shy and unsure.
She did not want a space zombie angry with her.

Glitnir waved dismissively at Eden's question. "No, I'm sure he won't be mad. He didn't have a problem with the last guest I brought up here, so I'm sure you'll be fine." Besides, I think he likes Cosmos Knights, he thought. "Do you want to meet him? The way to get to the basement is a few courtrooms down, so... or we can just poke around in the courtrooms a bit." Really, though, a tour with Cornelius would be better; at least he knew the historical facts of the courthouse.

Eden seemed to perk up a little bit.... " I would like that a lot. " She said, sounding still shy, but also a little excited.
This Cornelius was an ancestor of Glitnir's, and from an ancient time when society and the cosmos thrived... surely he would be a cultured fountain of wisdom and grace. A true guiding spirit for his dashing descendant, who had waited through the ages to impart his knowledge on the young squire.
" The building is really pretty though, even if it is old and in need of a little fixing up " But that would happen to any building really, she stuck close to Glitnir's side, the small woman practically swallowed up by his shadow. Eden could almost picture the halls thriving with people, the building immaculately kept.

"It does have a certain majesty to it... shame all the gold and silver is tarnished." Glitnir let Eden keep as close to him as she liked; it was tempting to put a protective arm around her, even though he knew there was nothing to protect her from. "Follow me." A few courtrooms down, Glitnir stopped dead when he heard a man clear his throat. A peek into the courtroom revealed that Cornelius was indeed present and waiting for him. "Come on in, boy. We've got things to do!" "Um, well." Glitnir stepped aside a bit to show Eden. "Hope you don't mind. I brought a guest again." "Did you now?" Cornelius finally stepped away from the statue of Lady Justice and approached the duo. "Who is it this time?"

" I wonder if there is anyway it could be restored? " She asked, more musing aloud then a serious question. But it was a shame that such a beautiful place had gone to ruin.
Glitnir stopped so fast. He was so much taller than her and his stride so much longer, that she was following slightly behind, and she almost ran into him. A dainty hand on his back kept her from smacking her face into him, and she peeked curiously around his side as a voice rang out.
And then Glitnir stepped aside, and she had a moment of feeling like she was on display. " Uh, hello Sir... your courthouse is lovely. "
How did one address an ancestor from a space civilization ages past? Eden peered at the figure curiously. Well, he certainly didn't look like a zombie, that was reassuring.

The spectral ancestor smiled, giving Eden a looking over. "A Cosmos Page? This... no, this one doesn't seem like the one you were mooning over earlier." Glitnir shook his head and made a disapproving noise. "Please don't go there." "In any case, it's nice to meet you, young lady. You may call me Cornelius. And you are?" "Her name is Eden," Glitnir said, feeling a little guilty about cutting off Eden's introduction since she didn't venture her name herself. "Eden! Yes, very nice to meet you. Would you like a tour of the courthouse? It's the least I can do when the newest Knight of Glitnir brings up guests."

Eden was looking between Glitnir and Cornelius. She was also extremely curious who her beloved mentor was mooning over. She could admit, in the secrecy of her own mind that she was more than a little curious.
" Nice to meet you to, Cornelius, I'm - " she once again looked between Cornelius and Glitnir, but she didn't seem mad that he interrupted. " Oh I would love that! " She seemed genuinely excited about the idea. She gave a friendly little smile, which made her nose wrinkle a little " Poor Cornelius, does he keep dropping guests at your feet without warning? " She said, knowing how difficult it could be to host unannounced guests, like when her father brought home business partners without warning.
She imagined it was probably a lot harder to host when you didn't even really have a corporal body.
" Though if its not to much trouble, I really would like that tour. I have never been to Mars before, and this place is just amazing. "

"He most certainly does. Last time, it was a Chronos Knight," Cornelius said, as though there were some mysterious connotations to having a Chronos Knight as a guest. "I would be happy to give you the tour, though there's not quite as much to see as you might expect. I might be wrong about that, biased from eons of seeing this place, but I suppose that's up to you. I can start by telling you about interesting trials that took place in the courtrooms, and then we can go downstairs." "Got any other ones like the one about walking a pig down a certain street in the capital of Venus?" Glitnir said, venturing an entertaining kernel. "That was a law, not a trial. You should know that! It was in the book I hid your signet ring in," Cornelius said, causing Glitnir to grumble a bit.
