One of the hidden, once secret labs belonging to Ryosuke that was abandoned during the scientist's escape some time ago. It was found long after by Hiyori Strife, which she turned into her own research lab, to create her own works of art that one day she may be able to perfect, and give to those in need to fight battles they might otherwise be unable to help in. It is not visible by land or air, and still remains secret underground, only accessible by Hiyori.

Hiding away her side that didn't belong was starting to really become more of a bother then anything else on the planet. The feelings she got, no matter her knowledge of the Serenitains was always there and would always make her feel ridiculous. She wasn't a Serentiain, but rather a joke of the name. She just wanted to be herself, a human girl. No more being embarrassed and hiding, no more of these awful feelings she hated so much to bare in her heart. Hiyori may of always come off as more mature then she should have been, she was highly intelligent to not-so-normal standers, but she didn't mind that part. Still, she found herself really wanting to BE normal, to have friends, to be a kid who knew how to have fun again.

For months she had been working on a anti-serum against the Serenitian blood that ran through her. It would counteract them, and what she hoped, cure her of her animal features. Of course she had no subject to test it on, and she wouldn't even if she did. She was not like those crazy, life-destroying scientist's. All she had was herself, and after so long, her 'cure' was completed.

Her heart raced, as small beads of sweat began to form at her forehead. She could feel her body freeze and heat up in seconds as the panic began to set in. This was it. This injection could kill her, or it could cure her as she placed the needle to her neck. "I...want to be human...!!" She yelled out, sticking the needle into her neck and pushing the end down until the liquid was all in her blood stream...

It was instant, her body reacted to it. Though, not so much in a good way. Excruciating pain would now take over, and for a moment there she had thought this was certainly the end. If she could survive the pain her body was now enduring, she could survive anything. Suddenly, she collapsed to the floor as the needle fell and rolled away a little ways from her unconscious form.

As she laid there, changes were becoming visible. Her fox-like features of her tail and ears seemed to just vanish as though they were never there. Had she awoken, it would appear that her little remedy had worked.....But even then, she would know the road ahead after might still be troublesome, there may be slight after-affects. She wouldn't know what might happen, while at the same time if she was lucky, nothing would happen.

Some moments upon Hiyori and her new 'friend's' arrival of her home, as things calmed down, and the beast fell into his sleeping world locked into her special dome to keep him there, Hiyori's fox-like features began to disappear, and she would return to her human form completely. In those few moments it took her to take a few pictures of him, and a brief recording to ensure anyone who looked at the video would see it was no fake, Hiyori finally set her camera down, making one last check of the security hold of her guest, before finally settling down into her overly large chair, she was so tiny compared to it.Making some of this even more humorous then it should be. The beast caught by a tiny little child.

It was so big in fact, she was able to curl up in the seat, and eventually drift off to sleep her self. She was a little tired, it seemed.

"The ones at Balamb didn't use their friend's near-death to get a cheap hit in," The Beast said while the two were still in Midgar. "Clever stuff, letting her take the hit while you got a sneak attack. That's the sort of ruthless strategy that works." Of course, that wasn't exactly the case, but he was probably just trying to get under her skin. "I hardly think I'm any sort of pup... but if you want to try to kill me, give it yourr best shot... you'll just be,... wasting your..." His words sort of drifted off a bit, as did his head to the side. Though he was kept awake a moment longer when she placed her device on his face, for added humiliation. It worked. His eyes slowly shut, as the last vision before he faded to unconsciousness was the young fox-girl standing over him dominantly. Iit would be interesting to see her reaction to him falling unconscious right there under her.
He wouldn't see his new holding cell until he awoke from his utter defeat. Though he remained unconscious for quite a bit, it wouldn't be too long before he would begin to stir and awaken...

Sometime later, Hiyori was now standing in front of the special glass window's over looking the beast as it slept inside. "Hey, mom...Can this count as a Birthday gift to you? I caught him...At least, I hope so. Heh..Who knows, right? Maybe i'll be seeing you soon.." When it came down to it, she knew she couldn't really be this lucky. For all she knew she just set herself up for the mark of death. If he was all powerful as everyone said, her holding area wouldn't match his own strength or power, and he would simply escape with ease. But not before killing her. She thought about these possibilities, but she also liked to think positively, that she did get him in a situation he, or it, couldn't get out of. Only time would tell what fate Hiyori faced once he awoke.

Whatever that fate would be, she would find out. For now, Hiyori eventually walked away from the room, exiting through a narrow hallway to a smaller room, with a bed, dresser and desk in place, it was clear this was her room. Nothing fancy, and nothing that would fit a child of her age. It was completely plain. Sitting herself into her desk chair, she picked up a pencil and slipped out her journal. From there, she began to write....

"February 7th, another Birthday with someone important to me that I couldn't celebrate with. Mom is gone, taken at the hands of the Beast, who I now am holding prisoner. Will he be able to escape? Who knows. Subject is currently sleeping soundly in his confined, special chamber. What my fate will be should he escape is beyond me, all I can say is, I tried. Death doesn't scare me. I thought I was useful, I thought I could help everyone if I learned lots of things to be of help but in the end i'm pretty useless. Everyone that was important to me ether doesn't want to know me,was scared off, or is gone. I would rather not have the beast as my forever company, so I would much rather him kill me. It is funny, though. The only one who did see me as someone who could help wasn't Mom or Dad, it was a Turk. Cissnie believed in me, but I was still turned down by someone who didn't want to.So, if this is to be found then I guess it was true, the beast escaped and what everyone believed was true,I was useless to help anyone or protect this world. " She ended it with her signature, and closed the book, setting it away back into her drawer.

Then she left the room once again, where she would leave to the what she called the computer room, where all the fun gadget's were, the area she spent working in the most. She had somethings to do yet.

To the largest open area of the labs, what was once the 'chill'area for those who formally once worked within the secret building a wave of blueish golden light suddenly began to glow, and in a brief flash of light, a rather large group of people appeared there. As they took in their new surroundings, they would see sofa's and chairs, even a small bar to the back of the room that looked to not have been touched for some time. It was decent enough that everyone would be comfortable during there time stuck here, and if they felt like exploring a little they would see more rooms, even a hall that lead to the sleeping quarters, and considering how many former scientist's worked here, it was a lot. The only area they found they wouldn't be able to get into, was a very well secured doorway of steel, to the side a digital control panel to open the doors with a specific code. Only Hiyori of course, would know this code. This was the area the special holding chamber was located, as well as someone else not so friendly. It also was part of the main lab, where she conducted her contraptions of sorts, and worked on her own little experiments.

"....Make yourselves at home? Um. The kitchen area is down that hall, if you want anything..Feel free to do whatever, just don't follow me. I'll be getting started, then.." She gestured to that direction, before turning away and hurrying off to another hall, where she would come across the locked doors. Quickly peeking behind her to be sure no one was following or looking, she put in the code, and the small green light lit up with a soft click, before the door opened and she proceeded in quickly, to which the door sealed once more. She would begin her work after a quick check on her sleeping quest. She really did get him good, didn't she? Still sleeping like a baby. "Good.." From there Hiyori went off to the labs section to start working on that cure. For someone who was on the clock for death, she really, really was far to calm about it! Her only worry was getting Ike saved, would she get it done in time before the poison caught up to them? She could feel her own strength weakening by the minute, but she wasn't going to stop for anything.

To bad for Terra, it was when Hiyori checked behind her, that she stopped instantly. It was strange, feeling like a sneaky child, when she was the adult trying to check on her young daughter! Her young...highly intelligent daughter..This wasn't something that she found herself getting used to at all! What eight year old child had her OWN place, a lab, at that? None. Sure, she kind of took it over after Ryosuke was forced to leave with haste. But it still seemed to be Hiyori's now. Seeing her so independent was even a little painful to her heart, she barely got to see her so much she barely knew her. Anyone close to Terra knew how much of a motherly person she was at heart, and how much she loved and cared for children, but her own children? It went far beyond that.

And here she was, working on a impossible process to save both herself and her fellow traveler, Ike. What if..she wasn't able to find a cure? What if she couldn't make one in time? Terra's heart began to pick up in beats.. "Hiyori..." She whispered softly, sighing as she began to walk up to the locked door, stopping to look through it's window. She couldn't exactly see her daughter perfectly, she could just barely see one of her blonde twin tails as she worked.

But, as Terra's eyes scanned the rest of the room...They would soon spot out a familiar figure laying on the ground, seemingly unconscious. The moment it hit her who exactly it was, a hand shot up to cover her mouth which unfortunately didn't hide the sudden gasp. "Oh my goodness..!! She...wasn't lying?! " Because Hiyori always lied! Not...But how on earth did she manage this? "He's..bleeding..." Or at least he was, it was just the blood from her knife-to-the-head earlier.

While Terra went on to try and follow her daughter, Tifa walked over to Ike, resting a hand over his arm gently. "You should rest, Ike..Hiyori will definitely make sure you are healed..She's such a determined child, no matter what, she always finds a way to pull through for her friends and family.." She kind of edged him over to a sofa seat, hoping to get him to sit down and save his energy, it may not seem like anything to him, he was such a strong man. But even if he didn't realize how bad his situation really was, his body would. "I will find my way to the kitchen and bring you something to drink. Any preferences? " Not that she knew what Hiyori had, but it if she did have a good selection, it would help to know. 'And everyone else..? "

"Hey! We will help! Count us in.." Lissa said, she wanted to be the one to tend to Robin, after all he endured for her to keep her safe. "You rest too,Robin. I don't want to catch you doing any work! " With Morgan's agreement, both girls left to follow Tifa in search of the mess hall, as it was once called..Otherwise known as the kitchen. It was time for the girls to be helpful!

"....This place stink of Shin-Ra.." A low, quiet ans rather irritated voice spoke, that being Tina's as she had only seconds ago awoke. "...What is going on...why are we all ...here? " The blonde teenager had to look around a little more, seeing the girls leave, while the men were kind of just standing around or sitting. "Ohmygod...We died in went to Shin-Ra lab hell? " Probably not the best time for jokes....

Ike

User Image

"I fight for my friends."

User Image

"..." Ike crossed his arms, glancing at Tifa with a small smile of reassurance. "Don't worry yourself too much over it. My body has been exposed to poison enough that I'm naturally resistant to it. Soren's body is almost immune."
Soren muttered something under his breath. "..." He closed his eyes, turning away from everyone and sighing. His voice was strained, as if he was having a hard time with something. Obviously, he was upset that he could do nothing to help Ike. ...After a moment, he growled a bit, and took off after Hiyori.
"Move." He said bluntly to Terra. Looking down at the keypad to the door, he paused for a second. "..." He put in a code. It was wrong. He put in another. It was also wrong. He put in another. The door unlocked. He opened it and proceeded inside, closing it behind him without giving Terra a viable chance to follow. Poor Terra.
"You should invest in better security." He said to her. "Keypads aren't difficult to guess. Especially when some of the keys are faded." Those keys would be the ones used in the code, after all. It would only take so many guesses before one would get it right. "Now, I'm going to help you. I will not sit idly by while Ike's life is in danger. You will let me help." It was odd how he was offering his assistance in such a... demanding and forceful way. But that was pretty typical of Soren. "I have experience treating poison. I'm sure I could assist you in some way. If it would make it easier, pretend I'm Stark. I'm told we resemble each other." Same eye color and similar hair color, after all. Just Stark's was black, while Soren's was a very, very dark green. Though most people assumed it was black it seemed.

"I shall join you, mother!" Owain shouted vigorously. "Together, we can brew the finest tea this world has ever known! Indeed, this brew will be named... Drink of the Gods."
"Owain, stay in here," Robin told his son as he sat on the sofa, clearly in pain still though he tried not to make it too obvious.
"Whaaat?! But, my fell hand... er... sword hand..."
"Fell hand?" Robin gave his son a look.
"E-erm..." Owain's face showed a bit of distress, as he tried to avert his gaze.
"Since when were you so adept with magic, Owain? The tome you used is an advanced one. I know you were somewhat adept with magic before... but that was incredible skill. And now you say "fell hand"? Is there something you're hiding from me..?"
"What?! F-father, don't be ridiculous!"
"When you disappeared from our world, your mother and I were distraught. We searched for weeks, but it was like you had vanished into an Outrealm. Now we're here, and you said you had simply been brought to this world before us, but..." His tone softened a bit. "You've not been here long enough... to get married."
"....!"
"You're able to hide it well enough..." Robin continued. "I doubt even your mother or sister has noticed. But I'm not a tactician for nothing! I've heard you whispering names. And it isn't your usual whispering, either..." That being his acting stuff. "You say these two names specifically in such a loving voice... the names of two girls. Your wife and your daughter. Isn't it?" Owian wasn't sure what to say. "And that's not all. I see you reaching into your satchel all the time. And you're more protective of it than anything else you own. During one of our recent battles, you were so focused on the enemy that you didn't notice you left it open. I only saw a glimpse of what was inside, but that was all I needed. It's your wedding ring, isn't it?"
"..." Owain laughed. What else could he do? This was just like his father. "I should've known you'd be the one to notice. You've always been so observant of everyone in the army, it's only logical you still would be. Sure, mother and Morgan are both airheaded enough that, if I'm careful enough, I can hide something from them. But not you! Just as it's always been. You're right, father." He reached into his satchel, pulling out his wedding ring. He couldn't help but allow a huge smile to adorn his face. "Heheh! This is the symbol of my undying commitment. The artifact that even the gods cannot take from me. This is the promise I made..." His smile softened. "My dark heart belongs to somebody, now and forever... The darkness within me pulses at just the sight of her..."
"..." Robin smiled gently. He had almost forgotten how much pain he was in. "So i have a daughter-in-law. It is true. And... a granddaughter? Heheh..." He nodded. "You've grown into a man while I wasn't looking, Owain. You have your own family and everything... I'm so proud of you. You don't need to hide it."
"[b[You aren't angry?"
"No! Of course not! I mean, I wish you didn't hide it, but I understand why you did. But, enough about that! Tell me about my granddaughter." His voice sounded so impatient, like he had been wanting to ask about this for so long.
"Heh!" Owain grinned. "Just like me, she is a chosen one... she has even embraced the speech of a scion, just as i!"
"So, she talks like you? Oh dear..."
"Correct, father! I'm glad you're as excited as I was. She also bears the Brand of the Exalt, just as Lucina and I do. And her resemblance to mother is uncanny!"
"Really? She looks like Lissa?!" Robin smiled. That was too adorable.
"Indeed! I don't know if I've ever seen such a close resemblance."
"I can't wait to meet her. And your wife? My daughter-in-law... tell me about her."
"Ah, of course! The true love of the chosen one..."
"...Geez, these people are really loud. Like someone else I know. And ungrateful. Is a simple "thank you" too much for someone who just saved your life...?" Noire asked herself, sighing.
"But that's part of being a CPU, right? It's your job." Neptune pointed out.
"Yeah, I guess, but it would still be nice to hear appreciation of some sort." She replied. She realized something was amiss. ...Oh. "ACK! Neptune?! Where did you come from?!" She shouted in surprise.
"My poor eardrums..." Neptune paused for a moment, as if the shouting had impaired her. "Well, Histy says that a CPU being born is like..."
"That's not what I meant, idiot! Where have you been?! Wait, since when did you even come to this stupid planet?!"
"I've been here for months, allllll on my own. Maybe I coulda had a better time if SOMEONE in the room had been a little more friendly. Not gonna name names, though... But if you'd like a hint, she was very extremely recently unconscious..."
"You've been alone all this time? I've been with Uni mostly... How could a lazy dork like you survive that long?"
"Oh, you know. Stuff." The girl responded with a carefree smile. Then, she decided Noire was being too boring so she would go talk to someone else. Naturally, she went to her next best friend in the room. Tina. "Hey there, girl scout! How ya been? Long time no see!" She said with the same carefree, happy-go-lucky smile. "I bet you must be in pain, huh? Well, lucky for you, Neptune's here to save the day! I'll stay right by your side and talk you through this whole ordeal! You're welcome!" Because Tina probably didn't find her annoying at all after everything that happened. Nope. Couldn't be.

"Thanks for that. I've been meaning to install a retina scan, for determined people like you." It wasn't clear if she was being sarcastic or serious, with her calmly spoken tone. " I didn't think it would last forever, but for everyone here, well, whatever..It doesn't matter now.." She glanced away from the bottles she was collecting from the shelf, giving him a odd look as he compared himself to Stark. "First off, Ike's life isn't in danger with me to help. I'm insulted you have such little faith in me, but, since you don't know me like, at all, i'll let that slide.." She set the bottles down, some of which contained liquids and others some form of different types of plants. "Fine, if you were so determined to break into my area here, I'll let you help, Sooooreen. Hmm, maybe you two are secretly lost brother's, and you don't know it. You do kind of look like him, and your name's both start with S, and are five letters. Funny, isn't it? " Okay, probably best not to talk and become to distracted, part of why she wanted to be in here alone with no distractions. It just so happened she could very well talk up a storm if someone was near by. It wasn't as though she got a lot of company after all. So while she tried to stay away from everyone, she would never admit that she didn't REALLY mind the brief company. Even if it wasn't for her,but for the concern of his friend that he was here. "This will go faster if you hand me what I need. I did make a antidote for something similar of Jenova's poisons, but this one is a lot stronger. Still, it's nothing I can't beat. So don't worry about your friend. "

She had already gotten a few items in the time she was here before Soren got inside, and was already in the preparation of making the antidote. Gesturing to one of the bottles with two long leafy plants containing a white blooming flower, she spoke again. This time her tone returning much more serious. "If you have experience, then you should know how to grind those. Will you do that while I work on this part?" She pointed to the large heavy bowl, the grinder was a wooden wheel looking object with two handles at ether side to grind down whatever they were working with. "The flower should be ground up fine with the rest of the leaves of that plant until it forms a past like consistency. After that's done, bring it to me. Once we mix it with these two it'll get to work on it's own, and should be ready. It will turn completely red, almost transparent enough to see through, that's when you will know it's ready to drink. If it's to thick and you are unable to see through it, it's still not settled enough.. " That never took long, though.

"Wow, that's a lot of verities of tea? ...Um, maybe we should ask Hiyori which is safe to use? I'm a little worrie-- " "Take the one called Omnislash.." Hiyori's voice came through a hidden speaker in the kitchen, making both girls jump in surprise! Yeah, she had camera's and speaker systems in just about every area. "It's uh, something that will defeat any fatigue, aching muscles, you know, just about everything. It never fails.." Which is why she named it after her father's specialty, the Omnislash move was usually the end for any enemy he faced, so she seen it as a fitting name choice! "....I feel even more worried then before! " Lissa had to say, though she trusted the girls words. It was just one very strange name to give, for one who didn't understand it's meaning. Nonetheless, she and Morgan began to work on the special tea.

It didn't take long, boiling water, and setting the special formula of tea leaves and other unknown spices to steep a few moments, it wouldn't be long before the two girls came out with serving trays filled with teacups for everyone. "Hiyori said this is something special, she calls it something strange like.....Omni....Omnislash? " That may or may not give Cloud a small hint that whatever this was, it wasn't going to be a weak tea. It should be all out terrifying! Walking to Robin and her son first to get theirs, she and Morgan gave them a moment to take a cup before they would walk around to the others so they could get theirs. Anyone who took a drink of the mystery tea would almost immediately be taken by surprise at the strength of it. It wouldn't taste wonderful even, and it most certainly did have a hell of a kick to it, but in seconds following that brutality, they would start to feel better. Rejuvenated, their aching muscles and pain would subside greatly and energy would quickly begin to be restored.

Meanwhile, back with Hiyori. While Soren did his part, she was in the process of mixing the two liquids together, and adding more into the warm substance that would soon become the life saver of the day. As she did this, she could feel beads of sweat forming at her forehead and trickling down her face as the fever began to set in. Ike should also begin to feel these very affects, it didn't matter how strong he was, or how immune to poisons he was. This was not of his world, and there for it wasn't something his body was at all immune to. His words were much bigger then the truth. She would also notice her vision beginning to slightly blur, but she didn't at all falter or slow down the process. If anything, she was hiding the pain very well just as Ike likely was.

Tina's eyes diverted from the horrific, terrible drink she had only slightly sipped, her crystal blues were beginning to turn glassy from the sheer terror. It burned her mouth and her throat, as well as her stomach for the first few seconds, and only subsided to feel strangely...wonderful. The heck was this stuff? But the worst was to come. In the form of a light purple-haired teenager who seemed to appear out of no where. Yep, she WAS in hell! "Oh,god..Why are you hear? You are being sarcastic, aren't you! I don't remember our last meeting being so happy-go-lucky. You hurt my Soren. Death only comes to those who hurt him, not friendship! " But in the end, they probably would become friends. When did anything ever go the way they expect it to go?

It was probably a good fifteen minutes worth of work, and a few more of waiting for the antidote to settle and be ready, before Hiyori asked Soren for a set of two small bottles across the room, neatly set into the large oak shelf filled with many empty bottles. Had he brought them to her, she would begin the careful process of pouring the antidote into the two tiny bottles, they appeared to look similar to any other potion or elixir bottles all of them were pretty familiar with. Once they were filled up, she set the cork topper into one, but not the other. Instead, she gave Soren a glance while handing him the sealed one. "Just in case, i'm going to assume with how much you care for Ike, you might be suspicious? So, i'll take mine first so you can see there is no danger and that it isn't some kind of poison.." She wasn't sure he was having these thoughts, but, she did think anyone else would be. She was just a kid he didn't know. How was he to know of her intentions? With that said, Hiyori lifted hers to her mouth, and began to quickly drink it as fast as possible. This was NOT a good taste to have in the mouth! But it would heal them, and that was all that mattered. A little horrible drink was worth it if it meant to save their lives.

The look on her face may of been something of slight amusement had he stayed to watch if it had any affects. "God it's disgusting..." She said with a sour face, shuddering a little. It tasted like something of the likes of the bitterness of an orange skin, mixed with many other strange tastes. Some of which had the taste of grass! "Tell him to drink it fast, otherwise it's harder to drink once you get that taste.." And being a big man like he was, it wouldn't be very hard to just chug it down in one gulp!

Setting the bottle away into a section to set things to be cleaned up, Hiyori slid down from her chair. Yes it was an interesting sight, to see a girl who's feet didn't even touch the floor when sitting, to be doing all this. Already, she could feel herself feeling more energy return to her, her pale face gaining it's color back. "Well, go on! " She grinned, setting her hands behind Soren to give him a push forward. Oh yes, her energy was most certainly returning! To quickly, even! As soon as he was near the door, the young cheery blond set in the code, not bothering to hide it for obvious reasons and opening the door once more. Letting him through Hiyori was quick to follow along when.......

The alarms began to sound! At first it was quite loud, but soon it began to settle into one single room, the main computer area to the right of the living area everyone else was in. "..Er...It's okay, that's just my alarm for the portal..uh, the tear. You know, what everyone's coming from..When this goes off, it means it's active, and someone or something is about to come through..." She gestured for anyone who was curious, to follow her to the computer area where they would see a few screens, but only one of them stood out the most, a larger near sixty inch screen showing the very tear. They would be able to see and hear everything going on there. "Hee,hee...The idiots are there, and they still haven't found my camera's! " At the large pillars surrounding the tear, she had placed up her little spy system to keep watch for new comers, so that she could be of help to them. There was a lot of time Hiyori had to herself to do some very crazy things, that was for sure. As she kept watching, she noticed the troops gathering and preparing for the new visitor's arrival, while the energy within the particular area of the tear began to radiate and go wild, most new that the wilder it got, that meant a larger object was coming through, not just a regular human as it typically got.

Hiyori began to punch in a few keys, what was she up to now? "Should be coming now. " And in a matter of seconds after she stated those words, there was a sudden brilliant flash of light that would even kill the vision of the camera's feed for several seconds, and in those seconds they while they couldn't see anything, they would hear the sound of a horse crying out in pain, and the gasp of a females voice in panic. And then, the camera feed returned to that of a young teenage girl of long swirled blonde and violet highlights, wearing a black and pink slightly armored dress to what they could see. Though she was now on the ground, far more concerned of her horse then to notice anything or anyone around her. The fall from the tear wasn't gentle, and as they came in it ended in her steed falling dangerously onto its fragile leg, it didn't appear to be broken, though sprained was more likely. Still it couldn't get back up.

"....That was not expected..." Hiyori began to say, glancing around the room a moment. "Can I even fit a horse in this place? " Whatever she was to do, she would have to be quick with the troops there now advancing toward their new arrival. "Guys, stand back...There SHOULD be enough room in this area..It's about to get really crowded in here.." Boy, never in her life would she think she would be teleporting a horse into the labs. Pushing another bottom to her computer, back at the tear, the girl along with the soldiers would hear a voice speak through hidden speakers. "...Girl, stay there, Keep your hands on the horse. I'm going to bring you somewhere safe. " One could only hope she followed those orders, Hiyori didn't know this girl, or how troublesomely slow she could be sometimes.

Soren

"It matters nothing who you are. You are in Ike's way, so it falls to me to remove you."

"..." As Hiyori had begun to sweat, she would hear her sink start for a moment, then stop, and a moment later feel a cooling sensation on her forehead, as he held a damp rag to it gently. "Just keep your focus. I'm here for you." He was being surprisingly kind. Was it just because she was helping Ike? It was hard to say for sure. Then again, Soren wasn't AS cold as people thought. He just had a low tolerance for idiocy. Clearly, this girl wasn't an idiot. He could be polite as long as he wasn't given a reason not to be. Though he had become a bit more cynical and rude ever since he and Ike had left their world.
After she had finished, he paused a moment. "...I don't distrust you." He finally said. "I've been given no reason to. Be sure you don't give me one." Because that might be bad for her. "...if anything, I admire you a bit. You're far more capable than most of your comrades in Avalanche, despite being so young. You're a prodigy, clearly. If you study tactics, one day you could even surpass me. I'm not exactly social, but every now and then I manage to find someone on some world who I can find... somewhat agreeable." He paused a moment, closing his eyes. "I can tell you avoid people too. But unlike me, you do want to socialize. You do want to be around people. Are you simply afraid to take the first step? You shouldn't be. I assure you most people would enjoy spending time with you..." He paused again, sighing. "Would you like to talk sometime? With me. I know I'm not easy to get along with, and there's not much to talk about, but I don't want you to think no one wants to be around you." If HE wouldn't mind spending time with her, no one would. "Give it thought. If the answer is no, we don't need to ever speak about this again." He said as he took the antidote and made his way to Ike, giving him the instructions she gave him.

"And then! She named it the same name as my fated sword, Missiletainn!" Owain seemed to be talking poor Robin's ear off still. Perhaps it was unwise to have him open up about his family. Robin was already in pretty bad condition. "Indeed, she truly-?!" He was cut off by the sudden alarm, and when the young scientist directed them to the large screen, he watched in suspense. "Heh! Another soul come to this land, hmm? I wonder what distant land this warrior will hail from. Perhaps they will come from the Dark Dimension! The ethereal plane from whence my power comes! Or maybe, they hail from the twilight fields of--ELISE?!"
"Twilight Fields of Elise? That's an odd name, even for you." Robin said.
"No, that's...!" His eyes widened. forcing his way forward to be right beside Hiyori, no matter how uncomfortable it made the young scientist. "ELISE! Can you hear me?!" He shouted, not really knowing how Hiyori was communicating with them. Considering it was a loudspeaker, it might cause everyone in that area to get a ringing in their ears. Except maybe Elise, who was probably used to shouting since him and her both did it a lot. "It's... Odin! Do what the girl says! Stay calm!" His voice had taken a drastic turn from the acting thing he typically did. He really sounded distressed. "...GRAH! How long is this going to take?!" Poor Hiyori would get the brunt of the yelling. "If you can't bring her HERE, send me THERE!" He didn't know if she could do either, but if not, he was about to start sprinting!
"Owain?! What's gotten into you? Do you know this girl...?" He paused. "Why did you refer to yourself as Odin? Is this... could this be...?" His daughter-in-law?! Could it be? That would be quite the amazing coincidence... "Owain! Let Hiyori do what she was. I think she can bring her here."

Upon feeling the slightly cold cloth come suddenly to rest over her forehead, Hiyori jumped slightly at the sensation, it wasn't -that- cold, but she most certainly didn't expect it. The small jump was brought on by the sheer surprise of it all, the faint cold to the concern to her she strangely didn't get much of. Blinking, she couldn't help but look up at the dark-haired Archsage, why did her heart suddenly feel a warmth it hadn't felt in some time? It even felt like it was even a little elevated, though maybe that was due to the little surprise there. Or the poisons, ether one! Whatever the case, Hiyori's face seemed to light up a little, shining with the smallest smile. "...T-Thank you..." Looking down to her project again, and in the nick of time to as her cheeks began to flush a little pink. She wasn't used to this kind of treatment, the results were a shy Hiyori. ".,.Sorry..You don't have to do that..I'll be fine, i'm going to get this done fast! So I won't be a bother...I'm..really grateful for your kindness though. " She had to say, she didn't want to seem rude!

As she had finished, and he began to talk further, Hiyori just kind of paused, looking at him as he spoke. More unbelievable, kind words coming from someone she barely knew. She almost didn't know how to respond! Was it possible this was a part of the poison's affects, was she hearing things? "..." There was a silence that lingered in the air after his words, it took a little shake of her head to clear her self of her own strange and confused thoughts to get herself to speak again! "...That..um...I'm sorry! I don't usually have such a hard time talking...You're just ..you're being so nice to me sincerely, You would think maybe i'm allergic to niceness! It's just, I guess I don't hear a lot of compliments...Stark is the only one who ever really...ah, never mind.." Shaking her head softly, her face returning to that faint smile. "I don't know, there's still a lot I got to learn..And I like to learn new things, maybe.....maybe you can teach me some tactics one day? When we defeat our biggest threat, and a little enjoyment can be had again..W-would you like to? I guess I can talk to you then. I mean I wouldn't mind talking to you anytime..Whenever you want! " Well, she certainly had no problem with that thought. While Soren did have Ike, she could see even he needed someone more then just Ike, maybe that someone could be her, and in the end they could help each other out and find a new friendship in each other. Before Soren could get out the door fully, while they still had their privacy here, Hiyori quickly slipped her arm around him, which was mostly hugging his lower body, before letting go again and giving him a playful grin. "Thank you for everything, Soren..I look forward to spending more time with you. We smart people should stick together, right? " With a wink that followed, Hiyori giggled softly before heading out of the lab area, into the next room.

Then, the alerts went off and their next new worry would come. It wouldn't be long before the entire room knew that whom ever they were watching on the screen, was someone close to Owain. "I'll get them both here! " She wasn't about to go into details of how bad it would be sending him there, instead, it would just be that much easier to bring her and her injured steed right to them. Trying to block out Owain's worried voice, she concentrated on the panel in front of her. "Okay, um..Elise? " She repeated, as 'Odin' called her. "Hang on, don't move and maybe close your eyes....Now!" They would see on the screen what looked to be a sphere-like-dome completely form around Elise and her steed, this would protect her from any sudden attacks of the men there, while the magic would start to work it's course. It was just in time, too. With the threat of their visitor escaping, they were ordered to open fire, put her near death and revive her back in ShinRa. Unfortunately for them, that wouldn't happen. The dome protected her, and no later did the sphere with her and the horse, disappear completely from their sight.

Only to reappear........Right there to the back of the room. The transparent sphere began to fade away, leaving Elise left to regain her surroundings. That was probably a new experience for her, maybe. Lord knew she would be extremely confused. The horse properly fell into a sleep, which Hiyori was quick to cast a simple sleep spell so as to inspect the massive animal so that she could get to another round of fixing something up to help heal the animals leg.

God, it was so crowded. Her lab was now a stable and home to many people. .........It wasn't bad at all. "I put your friend to sleep, for a little bit while I go make something to help it, okay? So don't worry. Go have your happy reunion! "
