::12th Division::Captain: Vice-Captain: Purpose: 12th Division, Research & Development The 12th Division is in charge of gaining new information through experimentation. They research information that is sent to them from the third division before storing it. They are also in charge of storing a mass amount of information known to Seireitei in their database. The 12th Division also develops new technology to aid shinigami in their missions. Description of Division: The 12th Division is the largest research center in all of Soul Society. It has several labs all dealing with various things, from chemistry to mechanics. The most powerful computer in Soul Society can be found in the 12th Division but the only people who can access it are the Captain and Vice-Captain of the 12th. The Division also houses the largest library in Soul Society, with thousands of tomes on the history and advancements in Soul Society.  Zero ran into the twelfth division with a very happy expression. "Yo! Cap!" he would exclaim in a very excited tone. "Check this out!" he would continue to exclaim. "Come to me Elly! <3" he would cheer while outstretching his arms like a god showing off his creation. The little black and red robot cat would form in mid air and jump down onto the division flooring. "Her name is Elizabeth the fourth, but I just call her Elly." he would continue with a simple shrug. Then a wide grin would form on his face. "You know what that means. Come on you know I would make a great Vice Cap." he would say before picking up the little black and red kitten like robot. "Could you say no to a face like this?" he would ask while playing with the little Elly's paws.

Mayuri Mayuri is in the middle of one of his many research studies as Zero enters on him. The captain has a book in one hand and a scalpel in the other, "Interesting..." The man put the blade down to rub his chin as a creepy smile crosses his face, "I see...so it doesn't say anything about this reaction. Silly Bountos trying to hide their secrets in their bodies. Perhaps I need a live sample." It wasn't until the red hair man called out for this 'Elly' that Mayuri noticed that he was even in the room with him. "Hmm, you want to be my Vice-Captian?" He would eagerly state while eyeing over both Elly and Zero, "Perhaps...." He walks out from behind the table he was at, "Yes Yes....let me experiment on this little....thing later." A creepy smile was plastered on his face while handing over the vice-captain badge, "Your the most skilled of my officers, so here."

Zero watched over as Mayuri turned away from his experiment long enough to acknowledge his presence in the room. Once the man handed over the vice captain badge, and requested that he could experiment on Elly later, and here people called Zero the cat abuser. I mean it was robot... but still. "Thanks Cap." he would say while taking the badge. Still he knew it was time to get the hell out of dodge. "Going to go train now, bye" he would reply while leaving the twelfth division.

 It been awhile since Zero did anything remotely productive. He was currently inside his office at his computer. His elbows propped up on the desk, and he was swaying in the rolling chair back and forth. He had been attempting to dig up some information on a certain group, but it was to no avail. Partially because he wasn't really into it at the moment, and the other half because he was experiencing difficulties in the process. It was then that, Elly, would forcefully hop her way into Zero's lap. 'Having trouble meowster?' she would inquire with the hint of a purr in her voice. The little black and red robot cat would nuzzle her check up against his elbow. Zero would move his arm off of the computer desk, and scratch her ears. "Somewhat." he would reply quickly. The young man would then lean back in the chair with a defeated sigh. 'Why not take a walk. Maybe it will clear your head, and you can try again.' she would speak to him in a cheerful and reassuring tone. He knew that she had a point. Nothing was going to come of him simply sitting there with a clouded mind. Upon that, he got up while still holding little Elly.
Zero moved out of his office, and into a lobby like area. It was there for the division members to relax, and/or discuss research. Needless to say Zero did not spend much time here since what Zero specialized in was a solo job. Most of the time it was fairly empty probably because most of the members of his division were introverts. He was not planning on sticking around in the lobby, but something caught his attention. On one of the tables was a purple fuzzy book. With a simple shrug, Zero moved over to the table. He flipped through it, skimming some of the pages. It was clear that it was a journal. Being of his profession, he was not very concerned of privacy. 'It looks interesting, very feminine.' Elly would speak to Zero. At some point she had moved from his arms to on his right shoulder. The little kitty cat looked curiously over his shoulder. 'Look at the front Zero! I bet we might find out who it belongs to!' she would continue cheerfully. "Seriously though, who would leave this out here?" Zero would speak to Elly. At the front of the diary it stated that it belonged to Kokoro Hyakka. Kokoro!? Zero had met her once. They were teasing each other before they were interrupted.
Finding out who the diary belonged to only peaked his curiosity more. He flipped through it, finding one of the pages. He would skim over some of the wording. The first thing that caught his eyes was 'Vice Captain Hottie', and some detailing of having a finding him attractive. A blush would quickly form on his face. 'Ah she likes you! Way to go meowster!' Elly would cheer for Zero. The young man would close the diary. It was flattering, really. However, it was also embarrassing.

Kokoro takes a moment to stop by her room and sheds her disguise into the hamper. Dressing up as a hollow and raiding Hueco Mundo for samples and items was actually quite fun, but dirty work. A quick scrub down and a fresh redye of her hair gets her back to her original look. After a gratifying look in the mirror gives her a slight smile. "Well, Koko-chan, it looks like you still got it." She walks over toward the door with her hair up in a towel and another towel wrapped around her torso. As she does so, she hears her roommate rustling around in the room. Her smile fades and she pops the door open. "Just what I thought. Get out of my locker and hand over my stuff or else." The blonde bimbo balks despite being caught red handed. "I-I was not-" Kokoro shuts her down immediately, "My things, bimbo. I have no idea how you even got into this division as a scientist." She snatches her pink kosode back from her and pushes her out of the room. "Give me some privacy." As she pulls herself together, she examines the contents of her locker. Yet another upgrade needed. The same upgrade that she installed at the Academy, plus a couple of modifications, will do nicely. Fortunately, Lilith had not managed to steal her jewelry this time. Since she plans on working in the lab, she plunks the hair styler on top of her head and sets it to a curled ponytail and picks out a more conservative uniform - one that has only been slightly modified and limits her jewelry to her earrings. They are amethysts and pale blue sapphires arranged in a pattern that emulates the formulae for the molecules that make them: Aluminum Dioxide and Silicone Dioxide. Her uniform is the classic black, with pink and purple paisley and flowers stitched into the hems. As she pulls the styler off of her head, she skims the room for her journal. Her personal notes are in there, not just her personal thoughts. Her eyes flash as she sees that it is missing. "The bimbo," she whispers, "She could at least put it back when she is done." It was not as if she puts the most important files in there. A secret key stays on her inside of her ever present pendant, the only exception she makes to hanging jewelry, which she grabs from inside of a hidden lock box. No need for a fancy lock there. Most of the people here would over think it and assume that the outward lock is a dodge and attempt everything under the sun and the moon to get it to unlock. Most would never assume that the dumb thing was old fashioned. As she heads out of her room and lets the bimbo back in, she heads over toward the lobby. There he is standing: Vice Captain Hotty. Hot stuff himself. Zero the second in command of this division. Her heart skips a beat as she sees him and she smiles warmly at him. As she approaches him, she notes that he is holding her journal and comes to a halt. "Vice Captain?" she asks him with a slight blush. Sure they had been flirty the last time they saw each other, but this was only slightly embarrassing. More importantly, how would he receive the information inside. The project notes were of little concern to her. The romantic interest is what concerns her as her heart hops up into her throat, threatening to choke her.

Zero looked over at Kokoro after he heard his title called. There was a soft blush formed across her cheeks. It was obvious that he had been caught looking through her personal written material. His gaze faltered away from the young woman. There was uncertainty within his mind if he should be ashamed of himself or not. With haste, he stuffed his hands within his jacket pocket. "You know, the feeling in mutual right?" his words stammered. Zero would then wear his own slight blush upon his cheeks. A deep breath would leave his lips as he began to gather his courage. It was then that he would take a few steps forward. The young man would allow his hand to reach up and caress the violet haired woman's soft cheek. "I'm sorry about our last meeting." he would barely whisper to her. Then he would remove his hand from her. "I won't let it happen again."

Kokoro's eyes widen as he approaches her and then says the words she dared not expect him to speak to her. 'The feeling is mutual.' Those were his words, every single one of them. She blushes more as he brushes her cheek and apologizes for their ruined first meeting and his promise to never permit such a thing to happen again. The purple haired woman suddenly throws her arms around him and lays her head on his chest. It feels good. His heart thumping away in its rhythmic thrumming. He was telling the truth. She could tell from his heartbeat in her ear. "It is true!" she says softly as if she were confirming it to herself. She looks up at him with a little smile and then stretches up to give him a kiss. Why not? He just confessed to her and she feels just the same! "Zero, I am so happy to hear that!"

Zero held his new girlfriend close, even leaning in and giving Kokoro a tender kiss. The moment would not last long though, as the same voice from before spoke of the blue crystalline pillars. "Are you kidding me? Of course, good things can't last long." he would say before pulling away from Kokoro. Although, he would give her a sweet kiss on the cheek. "I've got to move back to the pillar." he would say before stuffing his hands into his pockets. "Be there this time, it would seem things are happening soon." It was then he would move out. The young man would walk rather swiftly out the twelfth division. However once he reached the exit, he looked over at the receptionist desk. He would then point with his index finger at the receptionist behind the desk. "I want that captain position." he would say before walking out the door.

Kokoro's foray into romance was well paid off it seems. However, fortune only smiles briefly at her before revealing a sneering face in the form of ryoka invading the rukongai areas. She huffs indignantly at this annoying interruption after Zero parts. She delays leaving, if only because she is not quite ready to head out yet, but only for long enough to gather her gear and her zanpakutou. "Dragon boy, you better be cooperative today, because if you don't comply to my needs and wishes, I am going to bring you back here for modifications," she mutters to her sword as she hangs it on her hip. She exits the division after locking up and hiding important projects and documents, lest invaders make it this far. A few well-placed traps and security measures await anybody bold enough to make the attempt. Her final act as she leaves is to text Shion and order him to the training grounds with the other apprentices. His future captain would have to suck it up if he were to protest because first and foremost she is Shion's mother and she never wanted him in the third division to start with. Having nothing else to waylay her, she departs through the nearest exit, making sure that she is out of the twelfth division's security forces and troops way to their stations. As a scientist, she is grateful for not being required to act as muscle here. As she makes her way, she mentally reminds herself that this garbage is why she has been earning her law degree so that she can get moved upstairs to the Soul Court. As a member of the twelfth division, she ponders if her combat performance will make a lot of difference when it comes to their consideration of her future application for becoming a judge. Will they consider her intelligence and strategy before they consider whether she could do the job of a captain? In all honesty, she does not know why they would worry about that as much, considering the jobs are quite unlike one another. All of this is running through her mind as she makes her way to help defend things.

Zero was typing away on his laptop, rapidly pressing the keys in quick succession. What was he working on? Well no one really new the answer to that expect for Zero and his feline friend Elly. Being a NPC now was so great. He had much less responsibility, and people expected so much less from him now. His office was an absolute mess, as usual. It had empty bags of snack food.. mostly chips, and empty bottles of soda scattered around. It was clear that he needed to do some serious cleaning, but procrastination was winning the battle for now. 'Meowster! Paperwork will be late in fifteen minutes!' the familiar chime from his feline friend nearly caused him to fall out of chair. He knew exactly what she was speaking of, he was the one who set the reminder after all. It was rare of Zero to leave his office, but now he was forced to. With the said papers in hand, he stepped out in route drop them off. An usual sight stopped him, a stranger. He knew all of the Shinigami within his own division, he knew a fair amount outside of his division. Looking back to Elly, who was now resting on his shoulder he would speak. "Who dat?" With the question asked and a quick nod off in the strangers direction, Elly would take the request and begin scanning his facial features to check the Zero's database.

Riku [Spd:30| Str:75 | Def:20 | Sta:20| Int: 5 | SP: 95] [HP:300 | SE:130 | Clarity:13 ] As riku stood there he saw a stranger looking at him as well this was odd and kinda award he meant no arm and this person had some weird looking cloths on but thing again he was trespassing,Riku told himself to remain clam and act normal and try not to get into a big fight that as something that he didn't want to do he wanted to be peaceful as possible with everyone as the person stood there it kind of looked like they were studying him probably the researcher person here that knew all the shinigami here but then again they wouldn't know riku,would wave at them, "Hello there i am looking for someone of high authority here lieutenant or captain level maybe,just so you know i will be up front i was just changed into a Substitute shinigami and i was wondering if i could use your academy to learn some different spells and things i of course know i might be breaking a law or two so i am here to say I do not wish to resort to violence maybe we can talk and gain some ground of trust perhaps." Riku wiped his forehead wheew he thought to himself that was scary Riku hoped he was respectful enough towards the person let's just hope they don't try and kill me he thought. Zero sighed a little as it seemed he was the one that the stranger was seeking. "Captain Zero of the Twelfth Division right here." he would introduce himself while pointing at himself. About the time that the stranger began to speak about being recently changed to a substitute shinigami, Elly would speak within his mind. 'Meowster! Data found! This one is an unauthorized sub-shinigami. Mew have any ideas of what to do? It is the paw of the land.' Zero sighed much heavier this time, pulling up the said page Elly was speaking of on his datapad. Zero would reach back on his shoulder give his feline friend pets. It was true he was breaking a law, but he didn't know many hostile individuals that would announce himself to a captain or person of high authority with the intention of requesting to use the training grounds. "Okay... Here's whats up... Trust isn't built upon a meeting. I think we can both agree on that." Zero wasn't willing to put his name behind someone he barely knew. "..but I'm more impressed by actions instead of words so.. You have two options. Prove you can be trusted and hold no ill intent here, or try your luck with another Captain." With that Zero would go back into his office with a slight wave of goodbye behind him.

Riuk would say smiling at the orange hair man,Riku would stay there at the division to help out maybe train with some of them to learn there ways to further the trust so that he could be some what part of there squads in a way,or maybe jsut a trusted Ally would suffice for now Riku after Zero walked back into the place he was in followed behind him,and knocked on the office door politely,"May i come in i am willing to do some work for you Zero,if that is what you want me to do to further are trust to become friends one day." He would say slowly opening the door smiling at Zero. 195 words
