Class activities: Please pick the activity that pertains to your characters stage and fill it in by the end date! Thank you! FRESHLING:Senses Starts: NOW Ends: Oct. 31st, Midnight EST Persephone smiled at the freshlings and prepared to start the day’s lesson. “Alright, chickadees. Today we’re going to talk about the core five senses. These senses are, touch, taste, sight, hearing, and smell. They help us learn about the world around us and sometimes help us avoid accidents. Like if something is hot, our sense of touch tells us that so we don’t put our hand on it, or if we put something in our mouth and it’s bad, we spit it out because it might make us sick. So let’s go around the room and everyone can say something about one of the five core senses.” she said with a big smile. Rules:1. Have your student pick a sense and say something about it either good or bad. 2. Have them complete this worksheet for homework and PM it to Lady Argentum Draconis titled, “Academy Health Senses - student name.” 3. Do not post the worksheet in thread. JUNIOR:Laps Starts: NOW Ends: Oct. 31st, Midnight EST ”Alright class, it’s that time again! The dreaded lap test! On your mark get set go!” Sef grinned and then took off running. Rules:1. Roll a 6-sided die. The number you get is how many laps you ran today. 2. Write a short response about how your character feels after doing that few or many. SENIORS:Serious Issues Health and You Starts: NOW Ends: Oct. 31st, Midnight EST Persephone perched on her desk and her tail tip twitched slightly. “Alright, ladies and gentlemen, today we’re going to talk about some serious issues that can arise either from factors that we can’t control such as genetic predisposition or from factors we can control such as diet and exercise. So we’re going start at the top,” she pointed at her head, “And work our way down~” she motioned down to her toes. She turned on the projector next to her on her desk and started writing notes. Quiz Time:1. If a person is suffering from speech difficulties and their face droops or they say it feels numb, it is possible they are suffering from what? 2. A heart attack is defined as what? 3. When there is a break in the skin or the mucus membranes either internally or externally they are called what? 4. Cancer is when what kind of cells begin to multiply uncontrollably? 5. What disease is defined as the body’s inability to produce insulin at all or does not produce enough of it? Rules:1. Complete the quiz and PM it to Lady Argentum Draconis titled “Academy Health Issues- Insert Student Name” 2. Do not post answers in the thread. 3. Post a short RP response that you came to class.

Trenton fidgeted in his gym shorts, arms crossed over his chest. At least today's activity looked easy and they weren't being required to do something utterly ridiculous like play...football or something...
He watched the other students until it was finally his turn. He sat down and tried not to feel too weird as two of his classmates put their hands on his knees. He took a deep breath and stretched as far as he could go. ============ "20?" he asked as he looked up at the Grimm teacher. He shrugged. He guessed that was okay. He stood up and went back to standing in a corner away from everyone else.

Aella hid in a corner towards the back of the gym. She really didn't want anyone to notice her, but she had to take her turn eventually, didn't mean it had to be Right Now though.
Nearly all the students had gone when she finally heard her name called. Aella bit her lower lip and wandered over towards the test area, her tail swishing slightly behind her. "I'm Aella..." she said quietly, then immediately sat down and got herself prepared to do this. ========== Twenty-one. That was fine. She could live with that. As she'd been the last student at least class was over now and she could go get changed and maybe sneak off to the library for the rest of the day.

Joseth was not the most athletic nightmare ever, but he wasn't lazy. He gave an acceptable amount of effort when it came to PE. He wasn't muscley, though, and didn't have the best endurance, but he tried. Joseth changed out of his uniform into his gym clothes and got in his place in line, warmed up, and watched as several other nightmares took the stretch test before it was his turn. He seated himself on the warm pavement, stretched out his bruised up and seemingly endless legs before him, closed his eyes, and stretched. ~~~ 21. Joseth was pretty pleased with himself, considering he was a tall guy and never really stretched outside of PE. He dusted himself off, told the Litch instructor his number, made sure it was recorded, then made his way to the water fountain to get himself a drink.

Jezebeth sat quite patiently, soaking in everything Persephone had to say about that days topic. They were discussing the food pyramid and how much of what different types of food should be eaten daily. It was an interesting topic, to her anyway, so she hung on the Grimm's every word. She could understand why sweets weren't good for you, but she was maybe just a little disappointed that there wasn't room in her diet for more than one of those every couples of days. She'd have to make up for that somewhere.
She waited her turn patiently, she didn't exactly like speaking up in class. She knew what to say, but having all of the other students directing her attention her way would make her a little nervous. After a few other Freshlings mentioned their favorites, it was finally her turn. "I like strawberries! They go in fruits, above the grains and next to the vegetables! I should have 2 to 4 servings of fruits a day!" She was quite pleased with her detailed answer, but her face as flushed from having to speak out-loud, and even than she was probably hard to hear because of her soft voice.

The stretching made Victoria a bit nervous, she wasn't sure she was feeling all that flexible today. Finally taking a deep breath, she tried to stretch as far as she could. While she didn't get as far as she liked, she at least did pretty well, but still felt the shame of only making it where she did. She couldn't even meet her teacher's eyes when she left, feeling upset.

Laurel tilted his head at the food pyramid. Was that really all you were supposed to eat in a day? It didn't look like very much to him! Especially in the sweets category. Was Ms. Persephone joking about how sweets were bad for you? He ate sweets all the time and never felt bad at all! That had to be some silly made up nonsense that the adults used just to scare Freshlings so they could have all the candy to themselves!
"Oh, my turn?" He asked, giggling. "I like lollipops the best out of all foods ever, but they go in the sweets spot! I don't think I agree that they're bad for you, they always make me feel happy! How can something be bad for you if you feel happy when you eat it? That's so silly!"

Watching her teacher with adoration filled eyes, Zahneel waited for her turn to stretch. And once it came, she scurried into place, waiting for her legs to be held down. Once she saw the teacher nod, she moved to stretch out as far as she could. Only to have her back choose that moment to cramp.
As a result, her clawtips barely made it to the 4 mark. Groaning in shame, she covered her face with her hands, afraid to even look at the teacher.

Kobe sat with the rest of the class, listening to his teacher carefully. He followed the claw each time it pointed to each section. The bottom was breads and grains? 11 servings! His eyes widened, looking at his belly. He looked back up to the teacher and listened to their explaintion of each section.
The little grimm could feel his heart race nervously when the teacher started to ask everyone what their favorite food was. His face reddened as he looked down shyly. "I-I like... a-any....f-fishies." He stuttered out, feeling sick to his stomach as he felt everyone's eyes on him. "g-g-goes...t-there.." He pointed quickly to the screen, specifically at the meat section.

Quentin looked down at his work out shorts and sighed. He felt weird and the shorts seemed... weird too. Holding his arm shyly, he walked to were everyone was meeting up. He looked around to the other students, slinking into the back till he was put with others. He sighed as he self consciously warmed up with everyone else, his face red with embarrassment.
After they were warmed up, the teacher explained their next activity. He was mortified. He'd have to stretch in front of the entire class!!! Suddenly, he felt ill as he was called next. He moved up to the teacher and stretched like he was supposed to. He actually smiled a bit as he looked at his mark, 26. That was pretty good, he thought.

Crispin's eyes watched the speaker with an almost curious lazy fascination. His ears would roll and namely flick forward as their teacher spoke in her sweet tone. The grimm's tail swayed in time to his swinging his feet back and forth. Occasionally he would also stretch his limbs under his desk to keep himself alert and attentive. Learning was important if he wanted to become a great leader one day. Holding his head up when he was pointed at, his claws settled on his desk drumming in a quick excited motions as he pursed his lips in consideration. When heads swiveled around to listen to him speak he didn't seem phased. If anything, the attention made his tail wagging pick up it's speed. "Ummm!" Crispin raised a clawed digit to tap his chin. "I like..." He leaned forward squinting at the chart before the boys eyes gleamed with delight. "Breads and all kinda meats!" He chirped in reply, before his brows furrowed. "Oh! Wait, you said only one right? Maybe beef?" The grimm added quickly so he didn't seem like he'd ignored her directions. Crispin quickly jabbed a claw at the meat section rather proudly. "Honestly? I think all sorts of food is good especially when its yummy!" Crispin's head bobbed up in down with bright smile to match. His brothers stammering did not fall on deaf ears. A concerned look briefly flickered over his calm features. Crispin reached out to his sibling, gently patting at Kobe’s shoulder before adding a little squeeze to encourage him. "Hey, good job by the way." Just as quickly Crispin settled back in his seat so he didn't disturb the next speaker. Hobo Pixi. don't worry bro we got this class stuff in the bag it'll be fun!! :>

Ganymede was really only half paying attention. They didn't really find this sort of thing interesting. It was just food. Why'd it matter so much anyway? People ate it and that was the end of it. The worksheet was just busywork as far as they were concerned... once the question started going around they waited until it was their turn before looking to the teacher to give their answer.
"I like everything but vegetables." They nodded. It wasn't a lie... but probably not a satisfactory answer based off of the others' responses.... "But I guess I like eggs the most. Do those go here?" They point to the meat section of the pyramid...

Zalir was already uncomfortable even before they were lined up and put through the calisthenic exercises. Gym clothes made zem uncomfortable; the shorts were almost short enough to show off zeir shriveled, discolored knees. No, gym clothes were not invented with litches in mind. Especially litches with rot elsewhere other than their torso. But there was not a lot that Zalir could do about it. Zey was just happy that they would not be swimming today. A bathing suit would not help zeir mood.
When it was zeir turn, Zalir gulped and tried to stretch, hoping that zey wouldn't show off zeir clumsiness.
No luck. Face burning with shame, Zalir stepped back into line and let zeir arms fall to zeir sides. It was over. Right?
