Cerpin - from 'prince' because he fancies himself one, also it sounds like 'sir' and 'serpent' which would both be accurate

Personality: A brat with money to burn and he likes to throw it at trolls with potential. However, this is not out of the good of his heart but because he expects to gain something from the transaction, be it some kind of financial return or a service in the future. Cerpin became aware at a young age that he had more than most but that there were others with much more than himself! How unfair it was that no matter how much he worked or paid, he could never rise higher than his blood allowed! He had a taste of power and this got him hungry for more. So Cerpin hatched a plan: he would venture into space! Greatness was out there somewhere and if he discovered it first, he would rise in influence and maybe even get his own planet to rule. Whatever happened, it had to be better than being stuck on this planet dealing with the goddamn sea-dwellers.
For the most part, he goes along with the social norms because it benefits him to follow the rules for now. If an exception comes along that offers opportunity, he would go against the grain but knows this is a great risk to him. However, what others can't see, others can't judge, right? Others might see him as two-faced, saying one thing while secretly doing another. Cerpin has no qualms about lying, cheating or breaking the rules so long as he can cover his tracks and keep his appearance spotless. He has a goal and plenty of ambition to grasp after it no matter what. He can be overly stubborn and get dramatically worked up over things that are important to him and is not above getting violent or abusive when under stress.
At the core of Cerpin is a writhing seething ball of jealousy. Those above him were born with so much more that he can't obtain easily and those below him have powers he'll never possess. He feels trapped in his place in society because of the color of his blood and hates that he lacks the authoritative power of the royal sea-dwellers while also lacking the telekinetic powers of the lowbloods that could've helped him get into space! And all either group seem to do is kill or die, how productive is that? What does that really do for anyone? What a waste.
He likes music and dancing and when he has time, he indulges in these past times. He wishes he could be a glamorous star but in reality he is not good enough at either one to do it professionally. Don't tell him that though! He is just talented enough to pass as a 'cool kid' versus a bumbling clutz wannabe. He has considered opening up a club of some kind to promote the pop culture that he likes but is nowhere near ready to do so yet.
Right now, he is searching for others with great ambition like himself and hopes to fund some sort of escape from his inner turmoil as well as his shackles on this planet.
Strengths:
passionate - Although he sometimes plays it cool as a part of a ploy or plan, Cerpin is incredibly passionate and often gets roped into things because if something's worth caring about, it's worth caring a lot. Truly believing in something or someone has a lot of power and it can spur him into fighting hard without giving up. This can come across as obsessive at times but for the most part, giving his all for something has served him well.
intelligent - While he lacks some common sense at times or logic, this troll is pretty smart when it comes to academia or politics. He is good at memorizing the things he doesn't understand so at least he has some chance of sounding smart even if he's lying and has no idea what he's saying. He is also very strategic and always examines all the possibilities and outcomes to ensure he comes out on top.
sneaky - He's not a ninja or anything like that, no he's just really really good at misdirection and hiding things. It's hard to tell what he's got coming even if you know what it is he's after. He likes to see how far he can stretch the rules of things or how out of line he can get without being caught. His current 'project' has been perfecting a secret beetle farm stowed away beneath his hive.
Flaws:
assumptious - The unknown? Psh, he knows everything! He can tell just by looking at it what it is and how it works. Maybe later he'll double check those facts, y'know, when no one else is around... He hates to be wrong and will argue against those that correct him even if it becomes abundantly clear they are right. He's gotten into trouble before because he just assumes he understands things but still can't seem to break the habit.
vain - Cerpin is self-centered to the max and always looks out for number one. He is aware of this trait and justifies it in his head since who else is going to protect his interests? One of his tricks is to act entitled and pretend he doesn't understand why it is problematic or offensive so that others will feel awkward or angry but blame society for nurturing him that way.
cocky - He's running an illegal beetle farm under his hive and plans on expanding it if he can and somehow he thinks he can do all this without being caught! It is not uncommon for him to get caught up in bad simply because he never believed he would actually fail at something. Surely he was too clever for that, he planned for it- augh! This trait often bites him in the a** because no matter how well thought out his schemes are, he always believes he will succeed.
Weapon: Cerpin will use three chakrams when he grows into a teen. Two that are stored hanging off his belt and a third smaller one that is worn as a bracelet. The coolness factor of them charmed him but he's got a lot to learn to be able to use them without slicing up himself.
Appearance: The gray hair in the picture above is actually black, I just wanted to show the bang was in front of the rest of his hair. He likes fashion and wears a few flashy accessories to try and stand out so other trolls will find him impressive. Or that's the hope. His two horns are close together but not touching and are meant to resemble a crown. His outfit is made of a shiny material and he is very proud of it. His hair is styled with a sweep away bang that covers an eye and the rest is a very short bob cut. The purple used in the picture supplied was just a placeholder while I designed him, please refer to the hex number for the actual purple to be used.
Home: What better way to show off than by flaunting your riches building your luxury condo in the dumpy trashy city of the peasants? Cerpin opted to build his hive in Chittentown despite its reputation for lowbloods because he would securely be at the top of the totem pole there, unlike some of the richer locations. Instead of a wide spread mansion, he designed a tall skyscraper at one of the points where it could reach back up to the sky from the bottom of the canyon. It appears to be always under construction as he continues to build it higher and higher which generates a lot of racket. There are a few floors beneath ground level but they are under high security as that's where his beetle farm is and he doesn't want word getting out about it. The upper stories have guest rooms for his friends as well as hobby rooms for the various interests he visits for like two weeks and then grows out of. He is especially proud of his artificial onsen room, his light-up rainbow panels room and his chocolate fountain room.
He hates it when guests press all the elevator buttons at once as this always breaks the elevator and then he has to climb millions of stairs until it's repaired. Unknown to him, the drones are getting pretty tired of working on his hive and have left small imperfections as they go to inconvenience him because he's kind of a little b***h.
Lusus: Link. Cerpin's lusus is a giant white polish chicken with a rose-like head and leaf-like wings named Blossmom. Despite the name, Blossmom is actually male and Cerpin simply didn't understand this fact until it was too late and he'd already grown used to the name. Now it's too late to change it really and he nervously just ignores the fact despite Blossmom's great irritation over the issue. This habit of doing whatever he wants despite the wishes of others has been a significant problem in Cerpin's life and his lusus has learned the best way to handle him is to be a really aggressive parent and exercise punishments and rewards. The relationship is strained at times because Cerpin does not like being under someone else's control and he especially hates answering to authority. However, he has learned through Blossmom that sometimes biting one's tongue can get a troll closer to their goal even if it means swallowing some pride. Occasionally he tries to sneak away from Blossmom's watchful eyes for some privacy but having a dad with a bird's eye view can be a real pain.
