It was close to closing time when Arian eventually slipped out of the City Library and made his way over to the bakery that was just down the road. The bakery itself had been closing for the evening, but the owner had been nice enough to let him buy some of their remaining triple chocolate chunk cookies and a cup of large take out coffee. It probably helped that he had been following the same ritual for the past few days, had been doing so since the night that Ida had not come home from patrol. Behind a large dumpster in an alleyway two streets away from the library, had provided enough cover for him to henshin and it had been as Athene that he met his patrol partner for the evening - a certain furry little tabby mauvian bobtail - that had been insistent in coming out with him. He’d let Liryn perch on his shoulder as from the alley way he had headed towards the park, however the small mauvian had leapt down once they had made their way in through the metal entrance gates, padding beside him as he made his way through the trees. The two of them had been walking for a bit, when he stopped with the intention of checking his phone to see if he had any response to one of the many messages that he’d sent Ida when he picked up on the two auras. The auras felt like senshi auras and whilst they lacked the clear distinctiveness that he had come to associate with Ida’s aura and Ganymede’s aura - they were both nonetheless strong - eternal auras the two of them… And whilst he couldn’t be completely certain - since it wasn’t as if there was an exact art to sensing auras - they seemed to be heading in his and Liryn’s general direction. And so Athene stood and waited, his half drunk cup of heavily sugar-laced coffee cupped in his hands as like Liryn he looked in the direction that he thought the auras were coming from. After a week of forced downtime, Navi had been bother eager and anxious to stretch her legs again. She hadn't so much as looked at her henshin pen since the night of her purification, and needless to at, she had been curious what her fuku looked like now. The absence of black had been a little jaring at first, when they'd stopped in front of the dark windows of some unknown business that was closed for the night. She'd had to linger there for a moment, gazing at herself, turning, examining the pale bodice and layered skirts from every angle. When she'd finished she'd scooped Hadaya up again, supporting the little cat with one arm. Her other hand she'd slid into Chaonis', intertwining their fingers as the headed to the park. Her hold on his hand had been a tight one, and though she hid it well, either of the two with her read her well enough to see the nerves hiding just below the gentle smile. There was a target on her now, there between narrow shoulders. Not just from her own court, but now the negaverse as well. But it wasn't the agents of chaos that made her worry, though certainly she would like to avoid them. It was those she'd left in the Dark Mirror. Former friends and allies, damn near all of which she had not said goodbye to. It was hard not to feel alone when she thought about it too strongly, and she leaned a little more solidly against Chaonis as they approached the still fountain at the center of the park. It was then she felt it, the soft ping of a nearby aura. Order, by the taste of it. She slowed, grip tightening on both the boys, though it was Chaonis she looked up to, a silent question in pale eyes.

Chaonis felt the aura as he walked with Navi, pausing when he felt her grip tighten on his arm. He looked at her and offered her a crocked smirk, as he was so often wont to do, and a wink to tell her it was okay. She was safe around the White Moon now, after all, and if anyone did try to start a problem, he was really good at putting an end to bullshit.
In fact, it was one of his favorite past times, just after starting it.
Hadaya looked up at Navi as well, stretching up in her arm and rubbing the bottom of his head against her chin, pushing up against it in a gesture of comfort. He hated when she felt unsure, and he felt like they were connected. He could feel the things she felt, and wanted to ease them. Or maybe he was just being paranoid.
In that case, he definitely hoped she did not feel the things he felt, or she would be in an even worse state. Or... something?
"Hey, I know that aura."
Chaonis recognized it well enough, and soon spotted the source, or rather sources, approaching them. He lifted his hand in a wave.
"Yo, Athene."
Hadaya spotted Liryn almost immediately, wiggling his stumpy legs excitedly as Navi held him.
"Another mauvian!"

Like Athene, Liryn had been content to wait, purplish eyes curious as he looked around in the direction where he thought that the auras were potentially coming from.
Because there was no exact science to aura sensing - not even for a mauvian.
Fortunately Liryn had other senses that he could rely on - like a cat's hearing - which is why he had a good idea at the identities of at least one of the eternals, by the time that the pair stepped into direct vision.
Although he hadn't been expecting two to turn out to be in fact three.
"Hi Chaonis," he said, returning the other's greeting, for all that it had been directed at Athene before his purplish eyes shifted to give the second eternal and the mauvian she was carrying a curious glance "Who are your friends?"-------------------------------------- Although Athene hadn't been able to sense anything about the approaching auras other than the fact that they both belonged to fellow White Moon eternals and they both lacked the distinctiveness that he had come to associate with auras that were like those belonging to Ida and Ganymede, it didn't really matter as it hadn't taken long for the source to reach them, a familiar voice calling out a greeting as the two eternals stepped into his line of sight. "Good evening" he called back as Chaonis raised his hand in a wave, glancing from one to the other in way that he hoped would convey that the second eternal was included in the greeting. Well make that second eternal plus mauvian - as a voice piped up excitedly about there being another mauvian

The smile helped, and as they always did, it had her smiling as well, though her's was a small one. Growing as the guardian shifted in her arms and headbutt her chin. By their efforts combined she was chuckling by the time Athene approached them, and whatever tension had flooded that petite frame was mostly gone. It didn't hurt that the senshi in question was one that was supposed to be her ally. A teammate. Someone she's actually met before, back when she'd been a basic senshi, fresh from the mirror. The cat, however, she did not recognize, though Hadaya certainly seemed excited to see him. A hand came up to smooth between his ears in an automatic gesture as she offered the other cat a smile. Then another for Athene, albeit a much less sure one. "I don't know if Ida has had a chance to speak on my behalf yet," she answered the mauvian. "But I'm Sailor Navi. Formally of the Dark Mirror Court." Here she'd look up at Athene. "I believe we've met before, some time ago. You were sipping a coffee from a take out cup." It had been something that had stuck with her from the meeting. Some useless little detail. "And this," she grinned a little brighter, giving Haddy a bounce in her arms. "Is Hadaya."

Chaonis let Navi introduce herself, thinking that was probably the better way to go about it. He was sure Athene and Liryn would be happy to meet her. And hey, it was yet another person who had survived being attacked by Painite.
Not that it was a great thing to be united in, there were certainly worse outcomes.
Chaonis grinned, putting his hand on Navi's shoulder.
"Navi was able to purify, making that whole 'is it okay if she signs up for our team' thing a point in the past, right? Anyway, she's my girlfriend, and I'm going to drag her into anything I'm involved in. So you'll just have to get used to seeing her."
He knew Athene would have few to no problems with that, so his tone was light and teasing. Clearly, he was very happy about being able to bring Navi, as a White Moon Senshi, to meet the others.
Hadaya purred as he was introduced, waving a little paw at Athene and Liryn.
"It's really nice to meet you both!"

"I remember" Athene said quietly with a slight smile. "It was hot chocolate. We've met more recently" he thought about about it before amending it to "Well kind of more recently, although there wasn't any opportunity to actually talk." Navi had been there with Camelot last year when Vespa had purified, although he had lost sight of her when he and Maia had moved in the direction of the fountain. Chaonis had mentioned her as well, after the two of them had caught up after he'd gotten out of hospital following Painite's last attack on him "It's nice meeting you again." His gaze moved to the cat on her arms as he added "And it's nice meeting you as well Hadaya." Athene's smile faded, "Ida's kind of mentioned it" he admitted as Navi mentioned his flatmate and fellow team mate "And personally I have no problem with it as long as everyone else is okay with it" because he honestly didn't. "But" and here he looked from Navi to Chaonis "We should probably have a team meet up or something and bring it up then so that everyone's okay with it - make it official like we did for you." Well at least as 'official' as the team got. He looked back at Navi, his lips quirking up in a small but friendly smile as he added, "But whilst I can't speak for anyone else, I can speak for myself and if you ever need a hand with anything feel free to ask and I'll do my best to help." -------------------------------------- Liryn had listened as Navi spoke, his purplish eyes shifting from Hadaya as he glanced up her, his voice cheerful as he said "So you're Chaonis' Navi, Chaonis has mentioned you but it's nice to meet you" he glanced back towards Hadaya as he added "And you too Hadaya."
Although his attention was mostly on the other mauvian, it didn't stop Liryn from listening to Navi, Chaonis and Athene as they spoke, although his purplish eyes did shift to look at Navi for a moment as she mentioned that she was formerly of the Dark Mirror court as he piped up "You're like Chariklo - she used to be a Dark Mirror senshi too."
He didn't have a problem with Navi joining the team either and he said as much, although Athene's suggestion that they do it as a team thing made sense.
Returning his attention back to Hadaya, he said cheerfully "It's really nice seeing another mauvian" because Liryn didn't really know many of his fellow mauvians. "Were you at HQ when Ash and Snowball showed us how to make cat phones?" Because there had been quite a few mauvians there.
And then he glanced back at Navi momentarily as with the topic of phones something occurred to him "And Navi have you had a senshi phone sorted out for you?"
Even as Liryn asked the question he was kind of expecting that the answer would be 'yes' given Hadaya's presence.
