the lights dim down and multi colored lights begin to flash as The Game by Disturbed hits. as the crowd looks at the stage, a platform rises up with Ken Armand standing on it, looking downward, the DHW Inter-Blaze title belt around his waist. As it reaches the stage, he looks up, towards the ring, standing amongst a thin layer of smoke rising from under the stage. the crowd begins to boo heavily as he stands for several seconds

"Making his way to the ring, from Kansas City, Missouri, weighing in at 225 pounds, he is the DHW Inter-Blaze champion, Ken Armand!"

Finally Ken begins to make his way to the ring, almost a frown on his face. He stops at the end of the ramp and looks around the arena, out into the booing fans.

Finally, he turns and walks to the right, walking around the ring. He hops up onto the apron, then turns to face the crowd, his back to the ropes. He raises his fists and leans back against the ropes while multi-colored pyros shoot up from the turnbuckles. The crowd continues to boo him as he steps into the ring through the ropes. The lights come back up and the flashing lights stop while the music dies down. Her removes his cape and hands the title belt to the referee as he awaits the challenger

Ken has every intention of leaving with his championship tonight. As the bell rings, he keeps his focus on the champion. He'd beaten this man once, he could do it again. He stands in the center of the ring and waits for the larger man to approach

Ken watches the challenger. He has plans as champion and he won't be letting Pantera get in the way of those plans. as he larger man shoots towards him, Ken ducks low and looks to roll Pantera up in a quick an early pinning situation

Pantera should probably have thought that through a bit more. Though he may have ken's arm and indeed have him locked in hold, he's still prone to the same pinning situation. Ken, though locked in the hold, pushes himself up on his feet in an effort to press Pantera's shoulders to the mat

(you know in any case like this your shoulders on the mat the ref counts the pin first, right?)

Ken elects to take a shortcut, since the ref is apparently a novice and Pantera won't release the hold. Turning his face slightly, he attempts to bite down on Pantera's leg. either he releases the hold or Ken gets disqualified. Either way, Ken will get what he wants

Ken turns his head slightly to the side to avoid the full on force of the kick of the challenger, but nevertheless he falls back to the mat. He avoided a broken nose, though the side of his face doesn't feel much better

Ken is still disoriented from the kick and the choke, and is easy for the larger Pantera to pull up. Before he knows it, Ken is whipped into the corner and turns in time to hit it back first, where he leans heavily against it
