"The following contest is a #1 Contender's match for the BBW Crimson City Championship, and is scheduled for one fall! Introducing first..."
PostPosted: Sat Jul 25, 2015 9:01 pm

KSSSSSSSSHHHHHHHHHH...

The lights in the venue go black as the sound of harsh static noise permeates the arena. Immediately the Baton Rouge audience is on their feet and making noise as the words DEATH STYLE appear on the tron. As the letters fade away, they are replaced by the numbers 6-0.

After 30 seconds or so, the lights come up, revealing Mad Dog standing on the stage. Wearing his usual attire - cutoff jean shorts, elbow/knee pads, and boots - Mad Dog smiles as he looks out to the crowd. The audience erupts, the memory of Mad Dog's brutal match with Freakshow still fresh in their minds. If Mad Dog was over in Birmingham, he was bigger than Jesus in Baton Rouge, a city he was intimately familiar with. Freakshow and the Midnight Marauders were behind him now and all Mad Dog cared about was continuing his streak. Following Mad Dog was an HBO camera man, getting up-close footage for Mad Dog's new reality show Mad Dog: 24/7.

Commentator Troy: Mad Dog is the owner of what is possibly the hottest streak in wrestling today! Will that streak come to an end tonight?

Commentator Guy: After what he's shown us since his return, I wouldn't bet against him!

Making his way down the ramp, Mad Dog touches hands with people in the front row as he walks, stopping to point to a sign in the audience that simply read 7-0. He would be looking to make that a reality tonight, as he now found himself in a number one contender's match for the Crimson City Championship.

Introducing first! Weighing in tonight at 250 pounds! He hails from the deep and dirty south by way of Osaka, Japan...
MAD DOG!

Commentator Troy: BBW fans, be sure to check out the trailer for the all new HBO series, Mad Dog: 24/7! Exclusively on BBWrestling.com!

Walking up the steps, Mad Dog stands on the ring apron, leaning back against the ropes as he looks out at the fanatical southern audience. Hooking his elbows into the ropes, Mad Dog leans back, easily flipping over the rope and back onto his feet. Stomping across the ring, Mad Dog scales the opposite turnbuckle as he holds his arms out and tilts his head back in his classic Hardcore Messiah pose. As Mad Dog poses, lights from hundreds of cameras are seen flashing in the crowd.

Jumping down from the turnbuckle, Mad Dog grabs the top rope and yanks downward, stomping his foot. He continues to stretch as he awaits the arrival of his opponent...

backstage footage on titantron
We're now here backstage with mallory powel who has just caught tim edgren after his nearly chilling moment with marx.

Mallory: tim, that was quite an announcement against marx. With your recent hard fought loss to trent, what are your plans?

Tim: my plans? Just like i said. Marx wants to mention sledgehammers? Last week i almost drove one into trents spin. He may have won but he will never forget how he was less than a second from living the rest of his life in a wheelchair. My plan is to keep fighing, and keep winning. Simple as that. Tonight? I have a mad dog to take into the backyard....and put down.

He then walked away.

Salivas badass began playing as tim came out, the hood of his hot topic hoodie, available online for 59.98 plus tax, flipped up. He walked down the ramp with his hands in the pockets. When he reached the end of the ramp he flipped up the hood and looked up at mad dog.

And his opponent. From st paul, minnesota weighing in at 206 pounds, tim edgren!

Tim pantomimed a rifle pointed at mad dog with a smirk before sliding into the ring and removing the hoodie, revealing the white underarmor top.

Mad Dog raises one eyebrow at Tim's gun motion as the audience begins to boo mercilessly. It was a pretty insensitive gesture considering the shooting that happened several cities over in Lafayette the day before. The similarities between Tim and the Lafayette shooter were striking - white, lone wolf, possibly mentally ill (he'd have to be to wear that hoodie, right?). Edgren wasn't making any new fans tonight!

Ignoring Tim for a moment, Mad Dog points out to the crowd and says "This is for you." Though he did not have a microphone, his lips were easily read on camera. Truth be told, Mad Dog was a gun lover, but boy could he work a crowd!

When the bell rings, Mad Dog is all business as usual. Stepping forward aggressively, Mad Dog attempts to lock up with BBW's resident mallrat.

Tim locked up with mad dog. Feeling the iminent dog fight, pun not intended, he aimed to drive his knee i to mad dogs gut.
PostPosted: Sun Jul 26, 2015 10:44 pm

As the two lock up, Mad Dog receives a knee to the gut, forcing him to bend forward slightly.

Having the dog bent over, tim amed the point of his elbow to come down on the back of the ddeath style wrestlers head.
PostPosted: Mon Jul 27, 2015 12:27 am

Tim elbows the back of Mad Dog's head, painfully causing a cartoon bump to rise out of the back of his head. A little birdy flying around Mad Dog's head then asks him if he'd like one lump or two. Except this is real life, so that didn't happen, but it sure hurt.

Dammit he still stood! Well this guys was like tim, two tough hard core combatants. He stepped back and prepared to stick mad dog with a standing dropkick.
PostPosted: Tue Jul 28, 2015 7:48 pm

Mad Dog grabs his head where he'd been elbowed, leaning back upright. As soon as he corrects his posture, Tim's dropkick connects, knocking him off balance and back against the turnbuckle padding.

Resting on the padding for what seemed to be days, Mad Dog explodes forward with an attempted LARIATOOOOO~!
PostPosted: Sat Aug 01, 2015 9:30 pm

4 day auto

The lariat connects, knocking Edgren off his feet. Instead of getting back to his feet, however, Tim seemed dazed, possibly hurt. No one could blame him, Mad Dog spent a lot of time perfecting that stiff lariat in Japan. Sensing Tim's weakness, Mad Dog lifts him and butterflies the arms, hitting him with his signature Dog Pound butterfly piledriver in the center of the ring. Nobody gets up from that. Covering Tim, Mad Dog doesn't bother to hook the leg as the referee counts the 3.

KSSSSSHHHHHHHH...

Mad Dog's "music" hits as the Baton Rouge crowd explodes in celebration. The match wasn't quite the showcase Mad Dog had displayed the week before, but it was good enough to earn him a number one contendership for the Crimson City Championship. Looking out to the audience, Mad Dog again points to the 7-0 sign being held up as the camera zooms in on the excited fan holding the sign. Nonchalantly, Mad Dog exits the ring and heads up the ramp towards backstage, once again followed by his personal camera man, to watch the next match on a monitor. Mad Dog would be paying close attention to J.W. Caliber in his match against Xavier X, studying any weaknesses in his game.
