The Rules for the Adventure known as The Infamous Mr. Darkwater


These rules are not here to necessarily to keep you from doing what you wish. It's more about giving you something to do, and why I think it is a good way to do it a certain way. I treat it like a job/service/request; If I asked a mechanic to put a part into my car he would do it a certain way. Granted every mechanic has a unique trait that they develop from their own experience that makes it different. They still get the job done; right or wrong. That is my bottom line. Get the job done, at least when it comes to role playing.

Rules:
1. Anything is always up for discussion.
PM me I will respond I will try to understand.
2. Report for duty.
Post at least once every three days. Report to sick bay if you must.
3. Get the job done.
I don't care if you post is butt ugly, just post it if that's all you have.
4. No friendly fire.
I know that we make mistakes, but don't blast your allies for a role play error.
5. Pull the trigger, throw a grenade...
Post size doesn't matter to me; just put some effort into it.
6. We're not sailors; We are Captains!
Cuss if you must. Just don't direct it to the person behind the screen.
7. Use your supplies.
Romance is allowed; just keep your dirty deed under the bed sheets.
8. Is that a scar or a medal of honor!
Spill blood, blow someone up. Take a picture and post it!

I got tired of hearing myself type; maybe later or maybe never; But the Gaia terms of service must be followed blah blah blah. Gaia moderators and a Halo Profit they can't shut up, they think control everything, and look my dog's a**; I can't tell the difference can you!?

The Concept of the Roleplaying Adventure known as The Infamous Mr. Darkwater


They idea is simple participants are thrust into a Mid-Victorian world the technological level is of that period so no advanced weapons would be allowed. In the adventure the participants will make there way through a series of events which will be randomly selected but a dice roll every so many post that will be come later. As far as enemies and random events they will also be based on post count. The more active the participants are the more events they are likely to see now as far as other details that will help along the way, [Newspaper: Post] Will be randomly made or [Radio Transmissions] when they are needed.

Now to the Participants, you and what you are are is not based simply on what is demanded of you but what you are willing to put into yourself. A basic RPC will be all that is needed to start with, race and species are not a question however those special abilities that are annoying should be limited. It is important for the story that things aren't over done to keep the flow going. The participants will play the part of detectives or sorts either bounty hunters or private investigators on the case in search for the infamous underworld king pin known as Mr. Darkwater who took the city by storm after eliminating the competition through a series of gruesome murders and accidents.


The History of the Roleplaying Adventure known as The Infamous Mr. Darkwater


In the early years of the 20th century crime lords had taken root across the city, as prohibition and organized crime went hand in hand it was only through the work of dedicated peace officers that law and order had been secured. Until the crime lords began to form syndicates and corruption of city of greedy city officials became the norm, varies attempts to stop the spread of crime and corruption were met with bad luck. A series of accidents befell the 501st Precinct as their building exploded in the middle of day between shift change killing 37 members of law enforcement and leveling a city block. Later the survivors who were hospitalized met with accidents leaving the hospital and some even committed suicide by jumping off the buildings roof. What ever the case crime had grown into an industry and in 25 short years the efforts of the police had turned to covering up crimes rather then preventing them.
