The scene laid out before them for the world to see was like that of the most sinister of art yet as the few remaining guards threw themselves in a final attempt to put down the beast yet each strike was blocked with ease as one by one they were cut down to feed the beasts greedy unending thirst. Yet as they backed away from their aggressor, only so few left standing a psychotic cackle met them and as it raised its hand a seal formed, crimson and glowing brightly until finally it activated sending a torrent of white hot flame that quickly engulfed those who had cowered from their duty. Now with little remaining but flaming husks a sound alerted him from behind drawing him to turn around even as all the blood from the fallen rose high into an orb that was the final remains of this sad and pathetic town causing it to glow slightly as it accepted the new offering and compressed it with the rest. From the remains of a burnt out house a lone woman and her child had thought to try and sneak away but now as he saunter towards them the woman pleaded for her daughter to run as she herself though she bore no combat training took up a fallen sort and charged the monster who had ravaged her home. With a flash the blade struck but to her shock did not cut as it collided with a crystalline layer on his neck and glanced off with little danger to him, at once a crimson spike found her chest dropping her to her knees even as he made his way now for the frozen child. Though gravely wounded the woman barked one final command snapping the girl from her fearful gaze and sending her into a flee even as her mother to was drained of her life essence without a second thought and the man fallowed without a word.

Now in a panic the small child stumbled out into the main road only for a crimson spear to impale her tiny leg dropping her to the ground and spilling her blood shamelessly even as the man made his way into view as well his long white hair and black studded leather armor under a long armored black trench coat. Standing over the horrified and wounded girl now the man took hold of her throat and lifted her into the air then as the red glow surrounded him began to drain the life from her to feed his own supply and once done threw her unceremoniously aside as the orb claimed her blood greedily. Now slowly he turned to gaze upon the party with sharp eyes of piercing yellow and a smile spread over his face as The Ripper found his next victims.

Soko's iron fist activated as they clenched, his teeth grinding loudly from the tension in his jaw, his body tensing as the girl was slaughtered, Soko's eyes once again held that piercing glare, the stoic yet cold cruel and calculated demeanor that had been brought put ever so briefly up on t he sand strider was back.
Soko stepped just i front of raven his arm stretched out to block her way,glancing back at her her spoke softly almost mono tone but his anger was still seething through [b["Raven keep to a distance watch him closely,and keep an eye o that weird orb i have a bad feeling about it I am going to get in his face a bit see what he can do,... everyone else hit him hard whenever you see an opening this sick ******** is dead..." as Soko spoke he enchanted his fist with fire burning him self to activate power of pain, before darting in towards the man, ready to duck and dodge at a moments notice, he would dance around, testing the mans capabilities and hopefully providing a distractiion

The air of the town was thick with smoke as Veg and the others witnessed the atrocity around them yet none of the bodies stirred, for each lay dead and drained of every drop of blood but as to what had caused such a horrible sight he would soon know all to well. A scream broke the night air and frozen in horror Veg watch a young girl brutally murder then tossed aside like a piece of trash and nothing more, it was then rage began to bubble within the normally calm and collected man who tried to be a pillar for his friends. The others reacted in anger as well raven moving first only to be held back by an enraged soko who seemed to be speaking a plan though to his ears is was a buzz yet even as he charged and raven backed off the rage grew and grew untll it could be contained no longer as the ground around them began to rumble and shake. "You horrible b*****d! Harming a child and destroying this innocent town you make me sick!" it was to late to calm himself now the anger had taken over his eyes were cold and deadly as they glared poisoned daggers into Vaylens grinning face. "I will not forgive you! your going to make an excellent meal for my children". The next motions seemed to go at half time as Veg threw out a shower of seeds that immediately sprouted into menacing plants, then bringing hit stone hands back he thrust them forward launching himself atop a wave of earth causing him to move at incredible speed. Now in range a new seed sprouted poiling a long thorny vine around his arm that grew long enough for him to lash at his foe who simply sidestepped each strike with ease as veg slash gouges into anything ellse the whip contacted. Now it was his childrens turn as as they began to spit thorns at the foe laced with deathly poison the orb above him acted of its own volition easily blocking the strikes as if they were mere flies.

Bolting out of the general area, he was getting out of the combat area till he felt fairly safe from the devastation behind him. Jumping through a window into a half scorched building, he looked back into the location and set up to shoot back at the stranger dodging in between the vines. At least one shot was fired from his position as one of Veg's attacks being dodged slowed him down enough to get a good shot out.

Raven studied the movements as instructed. keeping a mental note on what attacks cause what reactions from both him and his blood ball. a smile crossed her face when she saw her friends actually land hits and even do damage though the amount could be debated. the smile quickly faded when she saw the wings begin to form, and a look of horror as he began to cast his attack, she immediately began to cast her own blood magic rune. though she was not fast enough to cast a large enough rune before deadly needles began to rain down death. "NO!!" Raven unleashed her own attack though not directed at the demon but at his attack, a large windslash spell cut threw the needles and sent them off into buildings away from her friends, though she was not able to stop all of them, she managed to stop enough so that her friends would receive minimal damaged. she then looked at Vaylen, who seemed to peer down at her. "s**t." she muttered to herself as she quickly fled to a new hiding place to observe.

Raven ran hard, charging for Galvin's location in the hopes for some cover fire, though that thought was quickly interrupted as Vaylen landed in front of her. causing her to slide to a stop, she looked up at him wide eyed in surprise, and found she could not move, she was paralyzed with fear. exactly the same with spitfire. 'presence' that was the last thought she was able to think before being bitched slapped hard enough to make her get air born for five seconds and land with a bounce before rolling to a stop. dazed and shaken,the right part of her face screaming in pain. her first instinct from experience was to get up and defend. she focus on Vaylen while he spoke though wasn't focusing on what he said, in all truth it just sounded like ego, while she regain her senses. Senses that came back in sharp realization when his orb slashed at her, catching her across the cheek by a lucky dodge of unsure footing. Self preservation screamed in her head and puppeteer her actions in response. using the blood from her cheek to create the start of a shield along with blood from her hand to expand it she used it to block the tendrils as they lashed at her, but she couldn't block everything, a slash across her arm, a slice into her leg, more and more injuries causing her to bleed out, more blood for her to use to protect, though it didn't take more than 3 seconds of this attack for him to attack her himself, firing a orb of energy at her, and she as sure it would do the most damage possible, in the grips of fear she fell back to her first power and summoned a big minion to protect her. the explosion was massive and sent Raven flying threw the air from concussive force alone. though this was not the first time had been airborn, forcing out as much blood as possible she wraps herself in a blood bubble to lessen the impact as she was taught by her teacher. when the blood bubble came to rest Raven Solidified it for a shield, long enough to take one of the remained health and stamina pills left over from the sandstrider that Spitfire had made.

Veg

The needle storm had come as a surprise but luckily most of them had been deflected and though he had not recieved any real damage his children could not boast the same as they fell to the barrage and began their healing process, it was then that Vaylen darted away carried by his shadowy wings and soko gave chase after throwing rex to veg who caught him. The psychic words of the plant worked deep into his mind and calmed it slightly though what finaly snapped veg once more to himself was a cry of pain that was unmistakable, now levle headed once more he knew he had to move fast and he knew how to do it though he had not yet done it before and knew not what awaited him. Swallowing his nerves Veg sank into his shadow, rising now in a world of white sand and dark skies and wasting no time he charged off in the direction raven had fled as fast as his legs would carry him though he did not have to travle long. What he found over a single dune was three souls each starkly different though he knew which one he was after immediately as he charged at the massive monster looming over the other two, throwing his hand out he called forth a bow of pure light crafted from his own soul. He then slipped in behind the beast and drew back the string forming a soul arrow which he fired into the hand of the monster making it roar in pain and as it did so in the other realm Vaylens hand split open and began to pour blood from its new wound. Again and again Veg fired untlill each limb was pierced and each foot was pinned before finaly he sank back into the ground and rose from Vaylens shadow in the other realm with a look of calculated furry on his face "Should you ever lay a hand on her again I will not kill you I will make every waking moment of your life a misery". Now focused on Veg who brandished his whip readily vaylen roared with rage as a ripple rolled through his orb of suffering.
