She's ruthless, unforgiving, and nearly insane. She wants nothing more then vengeance and a sadistic evil has taken hold of her heart. She fears nothing, and knows no mercy.
Biography:
Arafel was born a long... long time ago. She was a Fae living in an ancient forest that had stood since the dawn of time. She was powerful, elegant, mysterious, and compassionate. The fair folk lived peacefully under her care, until the humans came. In the beginning their interactions were few and far between, provoking no hostilities, but when the humans began to blame their misfortunes on the Fae conflicts began and quickly escalated. Arafel did all she could to defend the peace, but eventually the humans declared open war on her people, and began to slaughter all Fae they could find. Arafel had no choice but to take up the sword, and fight off the invaders.
In old tales you might hear of a great leader of the Sidhe, who could slay humans like they were nothing more then straw soldiers. A beauty and terror, that was unstoppable in both magic and swordsmanship. In those tales you hear how she had slain hundreds of mortals before forced to retreat to her ancient forest, which was besieged and burned into nothing by the armies of man. Arafel Sidhe, was nothing more then a folk tale about how the humans had taken most of the world for themselves. She was a reminder of why the Veil had been made in the first place.
Arafel Sidhe was a myth; until Layla Natas Duskhill, a master of necromancy, tried to resurrect her.
When Arafel awoke there was something terribly wrong that Layla could not have accounted for. In her re-birth most of her former memories were gone, except for the last emotions and feelings she had as she died. She awoke knowing nothing but the hatred and rage she had felt for the humans that destroyed her home and people. Her ancient magic changed and twisted with the necromantic powers that brought her back into our world, and she overpowered Layla before fleeing in confusion and anger. Now she lives in hiding and stalks the living of this world like a predator. A monster that could be unleashed at any time, who owns the night.
