It was just after 3am and Polaris was staring at her phone thoughtfully, her feet dangling off the edge of the bank roof. Her eyes had been locked on a specific name in her contacts for a couple of minutes now, but her finger had lingered in the air above the send button. Uncertain.

Hyperborea's question about Castor the other day had hung at the back of her mind nagging her. And now.. this late at night she had no reason she could think of to ignore it.

Had he really become some 'cruel' monster? Maybe it was just a misunderstanding.. Castor always had been a little hard to swallow, always so brash and so ready and willing to push all the wrong buttons one purpose. But bad enough that someone would ask about him like he was someone to avoid? That was just so weird... And if it wasn't just a misunderstanding, what in the world could have happened to cause such a change in the prince of hail?

Niflhel had changed a little bit while she was gone. In her opinion it was mostly because she had been gone, which was a pretty terrible feeling. And it had been even longer since she had seen Castor, so who knew what he'd been up to since the last time she'd seen him. So.. who really knew.

At the very least she owed it to her old teammate to look into it. Her finger finally pressed the button, zipping a text over to Castor's senshi phone.

Royals in the city didn't always meet up or seek each other out. They tended to stay distant, connecting when needed, after all, two larger most wanted targets in once place didn't draw the kind of attention the royals wanted.

So when his phone rang from a number he'd not seen in a while, he mused on how to answer the inquiry. They should meet, but- it would be a toss up. Things had changed, himself included. But-

A flick of his phone, still not upgraded due to his stubbornness, and Castor thought of a place that would aid them both.

Meet me in the plaza by the art museum. I think we'll need some quality time to go over recent occurrences.

Her nose scrunched up a little as his first response pinged onto her screen. Not that she could blame him though, upon looking at it a second time she could see how her wording had really set her up for that sort of thing. And really.. it even calmed her a little, the corners of her mouth turning up just a little. See.. that was the Castor she knew.

When his second message appeared, she lifted herself from her seat, surveying the city from her vantage point to best decide her route. With a few taps of her finger she sent back one more concise message, before heading on her way.

As she hopped from roof to roof, Polaris pondered over whether or not she should change to her Princess form. Whether having her body more fully covered was worth the potential of them being caught. It of course was not. It was too bad Snowball wasn't here.. he could just dampen both their auras to fully protect them. Mmm.. but she wasn't entirely sure she wanted Snowball present when she wasn't sure what she was going to find. They were kind of silly thoughts, when there was so much more important going on anymore.

As the art museum came into view in the distance and the number of roofs began to decline she continued through the streets with a silent mantra. She was a strong, grown woman now. A Princess even. Whatever was waiting for her, be it a rude and crude little boy, a gruff and vicious monster, or anything else in the middle, she was ready for it.

Reaching the plaza, the eternal senshi made her way over to one of the lamp posts to wait. This late at night, or early in the morning, it wasn't likely anyone would be wandering the area.
