Kalendol had had a long day, sent on multiple assignments from her Wingleader, Kleos. The girl sighed as she slouched on her green dragon. The poor creature's wingbeats were also slow with exhaustion. As they flew over Trine, circling to go to the stalls where Kalendol's wing usually bedded down, Kynigoth trumpeted, lifting her head into the air and bugling her greeting.

<Mine! Such good news to share with you, mine! Oh come we must fly!> Kynigoth made no sense, but it was too late as she banked hard, almost forcing Kalendol off of her saddle. As they approached the destination, the setting sun was behind them and the dragon bugled louder, stretching her wings out to either side. <Atibonth, brothermine!> The inquisitive green cheered joyously down towards her blue brother. She circled twice, her head scanning briefly for the rider-of-her-brother Jamarin. She would not land until she was certain he was there and her-soul-her-heart Kalendol would stop being so devastated.

Kalendol had never told anyone of her lost love. She'd held Jamarin dear to her this entire time, but had given up hope of ever seeing him again. Worried, as she was, that she'd never get the chance to feel his arms around her. It was hard for her to bear.

They blinked from Between into the air over Trine, Atibonth readjusting to the different winds with patient ease. It had been a long, arduous day of paperwork and arguing and release forms and all kinds of frustrating foolishness, and Jamarin muttered something to himself as he looked over Atibonth's side at his new home.

Atibonth reassured him, flying over with interest. The blue was glad that things had worked out as well as it did – they were no longer imprisoned, they had a wing assignment, and they had a home again. All was well, in the blue's mind.

Jamarin wasn't so sure. He didn't trust those Trine-ers, about as much as he trusted rogue queens. But Atibonth had convinced him that not fighting Trine was the lesser of two evils. That, and he knew that Kalendol was there. He'd asked – demanded – her wherabouts, and his dragon had been more polite, and eventually someone had told him that said greenrider was alive and well and there.

He'd believe it when he saw it. In the meantime, it was also the best chance for finding his brother that he had, and for general survival, and... Okay, fine, joining Trine was his best option.

Atibonth directed his rider's attention to a bright green shape on the horizon.

Jamarin squinted in the dying sun of another Pernese day.

But Atibonth was already flying merrily towards it. he rumbled, rushing to join her,

Jamarin stared with even more intensity. He gripped the handholds, his pulse beginning to race with more than the height. Kynigoth meant that Kalendol was not far behind. Kalendol... his Kale... Was it her? Was it really her?

The green dragon trumpeted merrily and pulled her wings close to her body, falling rapidly to Atibonth's side. A merry rumble coerced through the air as she lifted her head and touched her nose to her brother's cheek. She was so happy to see him! Kynigoth's wings twitched and she thought, <Oh Atibonth, brothermine, the travels were hard and the world froth with danger. I kept Kalendolmine protected with fierce teeth and claws. Now, at long last, here we find you!> The dragon purred, looking quite proud of herself. <Come, brothermine, let us land and our riders can stretch their legs and race to embrace love's greatest gift!>

Kalendol could scarcely believe her eyes as a familiar blue hide had appeared. Kynigoth had been so excited, and now Kalendol knew why! Seeing Atibonth, a cry of anxiety rose from her and she covered her lips with absolute surprise. Was it really him? Was it truly her Jamarin!? Her heart exploded as the green dragon touched the other, reuniting. A series of dialect entered her mind and she ignored it, all thoughts of her beloved coming to her. Her Jam. He was here at long last.

As Kynigoth banked away from the blue, circling towards land, she beat her wings several times. <Mine, does this please you?> The green hummed, her eye rolling back to see her rider.

Kalendol was at a loss for words, happiness poured from her. Yes, mine, I'm so happy! She whispered silently. The minute Kynigoth's feet touched the ground, Kalendol was leaping free of her saddle and looking to the blue, hopeful. <Atibonth, my rider wishes to send you her greetings and thanks, she hopes you and Yours fared well during the dreaded too-tight-Wherwars?>

Rin, you need to quote me otherwise I won't know that it happened <3

Atibonth rumbled a musical draconic laugh, ignoring his rider's comment that Kynigoth couldn't protect anything if she tried. Honestly, though, the usual dig at the obnoxious dragon was lacking luster, and Atibonth knew that other thoughts occupied his rider's mind.

the blue agreed, touching his nose to his sisters before banking away to circle in for a landing, And Atibonth wanted to make sure that Jamarin leapt to embrace Kalendol while on land and not airborne. It was a close call. amarin practically leapt from his saddle the moment Atibonth touched down a few meters away from the light colored green. He moved towards Kalendol, his pace accelerating until he was striding quite quickly. Though his expression was curiously blank, his dark eyes blazed as he looked, almost hungrily, at her – at her shape, at her beautiful hair, at the way she moved and the way her curves moved with her... at his Kalendol.

When he was in arms reach, he grabbed her and pulled her, impatiently, into a passionate kiss, awkward at first from it's abruptness, but smoothing out as it went on into something that spoke volumes of wordless desire and turns worth of longing.

Atibonth settled onto his haunches patiently, watching the reunion with mild delight. he responded to his sister after a moment, distracted, His rider's fierce passion infiltrated their bond, making it difficult to concentrate on things like tidings. He would, the blue knew, have to wait until later.

Jamarin freed his lips from hers briefly, enough to catch his breath. “Shards...” he growled huskily, his nose a mere hairs breadth from her own, “I've missed you.”

Sorry, love! I thought I had quoted you!

Kalendol had rushed forward to meet Jamarin as well, but he was too quick for her and had her in his arms within seconds of getting on the ground. The auburn haired woman cried joyously before his lips met hers and they passionately kissed. Disappointment flooded her system when he freed his lips from hers, immediately she craved the contact. "I missed you so much, I thought I'd never see you again." Tears rolled down her face as she touched his, rubbing her thumbs against his skin. She missed him deeply.

Kynigoth had begun to feel proddy, lustful, as her rider's emotions filled her every fiber. But, she couldn't stop herself from talking. <We're glad you both fared well. Our riders are abrupt.> She chuckled. The green dragon shifted her position to look at her rider carefully. She could feel the emotions. <I cannot wait to catch up. We are glad you two are safe.>

Sorry if it's weird, you know drac isn't experienced in posts like this

Atibonth laughed – he could see the purple that swirled in his sister's eyes. His own eyes had flashes of orange in their blue depths, evidence of his own rider's emotions, with an occasional purple flicker. His eyes rarely held purple, even flickers. he said he stretched, playfully flexing his claws at her. He himself was not one for Flights, but he did appreciate that others felt the need... like his rider, right now. Ah well, that just meant a mild headache for the blue, nothing too bad...

It had been turns – turns – since she'd left the wherholds, but his Kalendol still looked (mostly) the same, still felt the same. Jamarin wanted nothing more than to hold her, kiss her, make love to her... shards, just look at her. That had been what he'd wanted nearly every lonely night, when those nights weren't taken up with desperate retreats or life-or-death fights. “There was times when I din' think I...” his hand ran through her auburn hair, reeling as half-wanted tears stung his eyes and longing thundered through his system like a storm. He blinked the tears back, as if afraid of them, his face contorted with intense emotion. “Many times that I didn't think I'd make it.” he nearly choked on his words, his lips brushing hers as he spoke, as if they couldn't have enough of her. “Knew you were safe.” he mumbled, “Only way I got through it...” and then he gave in to the feeling and kissed her again, his hands gripping her tight enough that, had there not been rider leather in the way, they probably would have hurt. As it was, his embrace was strong and honest, and he would give anything else for this – to just feel her against him. “Shards...” he hissed... “Missed you...”

Kalendol flushed brightly, wincing a little as she felt squeezed by her beloved. It'd been so long since she'd seen him last, so long since she'd felt the comfort of his arms around her. She could scarcely believe it'd been so long! Turns! But, as he smooshed his mouth against hers, holding her tightly to him she felt as though things were finally falling into place once more. Her Jamarin was finally safe and sound with her once more. Oh shards, she didn't know if she could bear this crushing force. She wanted to be entwined with him once more. Wrapping her arms around his neck, letting her fingers push into his hair with desire mounting she could scarcely contain her love. "I worried for you every single day... I thought we'd never find one another again. Oh shards, how I've missed you." She whispered passionately in between his lips brushing hers. Tangling her lips to his she allowed a playful nibble to come about, pressing her bosom to his chest in absolute enjoyment. How she longed to continue their embrace privately. "Shards, I've missed you." She rarely cursed, but Kalendol could not help herself this time. She couldn't even fathom her life without him involved in it.

Meanwhile, Kynigoth shook her head and adjusted her position beside her brother. As a blue he was slightly larger than her. A thrumming hum resonated within her throat and she shook her head. Although a Rise would be wonderful, she did not wish to interfere with this sensation at the moment. <Perhaps at another time. For now, we must indeed catch up. Hopefully Kalendolmine and Jamarinyours will pass their affections off soon. It's quite problematic for them to be so openly obvious.> The dragon chortled, shaking her head in dismay.
