She was feeling rather bored today. No classes. No brother to go harass. And Durumi wasn't around either. Normally this wouldn't be an issue and she'd just enjoy a good cup of tea and curl up on her couch to read a book. But lately, ever since she got her own little apartment and was acting like a mature adult (she could just imagine her brother's snickering at this), she'd been feeling... lonely.
Even taking a walk around her apartment complex didn't do much to make the feeling fade.
Not being able to settle down and relax, Kodi grabbed her purse and went out to explore the city a little. She didn't really have a destination in mind, but instead started to follow the crowd. Which lead her to the mall. Kodi blinked and a smile spread along her lips. What better place to find a whole bunch of people then the mall?!
There was more purpose to her step as she entered and went browsing around the shops. She found herself inside one with lots of cute clothes. The kind she probably wouldn't wear unless going out to a club. Or to give Magiore a heart attack... Like the cute little sequin skirt she'd just found! It probably didn't go much past her butt but the colors reminded her of twilight, just after the sun went below the horizon.

Shopping was probably Lila's single favorite thing to do. It eased her mind, made her feel more comfortable and confident - generally made her happier. It was occasionally hell on her wallet, but with everything in her life spiraling so badly, she needed a good old fashioned shopping spree to duct-tape herself back together.
Dip-dyed blue-pink locks were teased, casually, into a half-braid, and she'd put concealer over her most visible, most shocking scars. That helped, too - she was proud of her service to the Negaverse, but people reacted with disturbing alarm to claw marks on one's face or bite marks on one's arms. Assumptions were made. She preferred to avoid the looks of shock and horror.
And so she ended up browsing casually through club dresses, because she really could use a night out sometime soon.
"Those colors suit you," she told the girl near her, holding a beautifully colored sequined skirt. "They'll look lovely with your hair." Because paying compliments to other girls was a good way to brighten the day of everyone involved.Kyrieko i am so infinitely sorry this took me forever

Kodi managed just barely not to jump. It wasn't her brother coming to glower at her. But a fellow girl browsing the cute clothes. Kodi flashed her an appreciative smile. "You think so?" She held the skirt back up, looking down at it. "I do adore the colors so much."
But what top would go with the skirt? And then you had to find shoes to go with it all. And some accessories. Because buying just the skirt wasn't enough.
Okay, so she didn't shop as often as some women did, but she at least knew that much!
"If it's not too much of a bother, could I ask your opinion on what sort of top you think would go with it? I don't know if I should pull more of the magenta-y colors out or the gold.. maybe the blue?" It probably would have made her a little nervous to start randomly talking to a stranger, but shopping for clothes was a different story! And this girl was super pretty and looked like she had good taste in style.
"I'm kinda hoping for something I can wear out with friends." She admitted, hoping that might help. Noir Songbird you are totally fine ;u; <3 i'm a sloooow RPer myself so I don't mind the waits!

Lila nodded. "I definitely think so," she said warmly. Some people were made for colors - this girl looked like one of those people, at least in Lila's assessment. And being asked for advice made her light up in a very obvious way. Never let it be said she wasn't eager to help other people make good clothing choices.
"What about something red-purple, for the top?" She suggested. "Pull in more than one of the colors?" A brief playful grin. "Something small and tight, I think." Because that looked like the sort of skirt a girl only wore if she wanted to let loose. "Especially for a girl as pretty as you."
Idle flirtation was also a very fun way to spend an afternoon.
"And very especially if you're planning to go out and have fun in it."
