Red Dragon Heart (Necklace) : The Red Dragon Heart can be a very powerful gear if used in the right ways. While it has no where near the fighting potential some of its counterpart gears has, it acts as more of a protectorate. Its primary abilities being healing and shielding from dangerous attacks. The number one downside to this gear is that while it heals the injury of the person its used on, the pain felt by this injury is inflicted onto the user, sometimes resulting in the transfer of wounds, scars, and sometimes severe injuries like broken bones or gashes. The Gear counteracts this with the ability to heal its user faster overtime, although its no where near as instant as it is when used on someone else.

About you: Cyrus has always been a bit of an odd one. Since birth he was seen as an outcast, his mother being a fallen angel and his father being that of a shunned out devil, forced to live in the human world because of the countless offenses against the royal family. He wasn't exactly in agreement with the majority of there policies, especially the one about making friends with the angels and fallen angels...but, as you can probably tell, his opinions changed slightly when he met Cyrus's mother. She was a beautiful young fallen angel, and the two met on a whim, stumbling through an alleyway after a rogue priest. After a long and very loud fight between the two over which one should get to slay the priest, the two decided to do it together, and nine months later a little half bred boy was born. (Yes, Cyrus was conceived after the slaying of a rogue priest...problem?)
So Cyrus was raised in a normal human like household. He went to school, came home, learned to use his wings (one of which is devil the other fallen angel) and finally, when he turned 12, learned to use the sacred gear he had been blessed with. It was told to him that the gear started in his own heart, but as he grew the gear slowly made its way out of his body until one day he woke up with a necklace. The Red Dragon's Heart, as his parents called it. At first Cyrus didn't know what it was, and attempted to take it off. But as his hands pulled on it it didn't budge. It was odd, it looked like a normal necklace, but he didn't feel it. Almost as if it was apart of him, and it was. This is where things started to get interesting.
Suddenly the fallen angels and devils alike were beginning to show interest in the mixed up bunch after a certain little one discovered he had a sacred gear. Before Cyrus knew it there were so many new people showing up at his home. Pretty ladies, royal looking men, a shifty looking lady with very little clothing and wings like his mother who was thrown out of the home in a matter of minutes. And Cyrus was actually a little happy. He could never really...well...connect to the human kids at his school since he had to keep his wings a secret. So all of these people showing up and being nice to him was a treat! But neither his mother nor father seemed to feel the same way. And then it happened.
On Cyrus's 17th birthday he was visited by one last man. A tall regal looking fellow with pretty eyes and bright red hair. He never actually offered a name, but instead an envelope. It was an invitation to an academy. Kuoh Academy. And Cyrus couldn't of been more thrilled. He had heard of the academy once before, and while he had never met anyone there, Cyrus had heard about the infamous red dragon emperor and his partner, Boobs McGee, went there. So the next day Cyrus packed his bags and left his family, moving to a place where humans, angels, devils, and the like could all live in harmony...well...relative harmony. Cyrus does enjoy pulling little pranks from time to time...

Healing- Cyrus's Sacred Gear can, as stated before, heal a plethora of injuries. In all practicality the gear can strip an injury, be it physical like a gash or internal like a broken bone or disease, and yank it out, transferring it to the body of the user.
Post mechanics for healing will work like this- for every wound that is healed Cyrus will roll a 4 sided die
1 means he managed to heal the injury with no consequence to himself.
2 causes fully healed scars to appear on the body where the victim was harmed, and a slight amount of pain (about a half of what the victim felt)
3 leaves scars but the pain increases to the full amount of what the victim felt.
4 is the worst outcome for Cyrus. The wound he has healed is transferred in its entirety to his body. So for instance, if he heals a gash left in someones right arm, and rolls a 4, he will heal the wound, but the gash will then appear on his arm as well, causing the same amount of pain and injury that would be caused by such a blow.

For injuries that would normally be fatal there is no rolling of the dice. Cyrus can save the person from death, but it will leave both characters in an incapacitated state, unable to do anything but lay there and wait for proper treatment. All non fatal injuries healed will instantly be transferred to Cyrus like a 4 was rolled, knocking him out of commission for a good amount of time.
Shielding- Cyrus's Gear also allows him to shield allies and himself from hostile attacks. His shield is temporary, and can only stay up for a few seconds, but is mostly used for protecting allies long enough to get out of the way of larger attacks. Cyrus's shield power depends on how close he is to the shield. He can cast it a good distance away, but the further he does so the less it blocks. The most powerful shield he can create would be one that he himself is making contact with, but if the attack can last longer then his shield then Cyrus would more then likely take the force of whatever was leftover after his shield fell.
Regeneration(Passive) - As mentioned above, the Red Dragon Heart's ability that benefits the user directly is regeneration. It allows his body to heal its own injuries faster, too allow for the healing of others more often. This ability is based on his movement and the amount of energy he's using. Cyrus will not regenerate if he's forced to constantly run around, or if he's using any sort of ability like healing or shielding. In order for Cyrus's regeneration to kick in he must be sedentary and uninterrupted. He can heal a wound like a deep cut in about 10 minutes with no interruption, more serious injuries can take a few days time to heal completely.
Entrapment(No damage dealt) - This ability is using his shield in a more aggressive manner. While it still does no damage, Cyrus uses his shield and creates a sort of small bubble around an enemy, holding them in place so more powerful attacks that take longer to charge have a better chance of hitting the target. It can of course be broken out of, because just like his shield the farther away he is the less the shield can take.
