As the cool midnight breeze blew outside a lone man sat in his study drawing symbols in his preparations for the time to come yet as he worked he spoke not a word until the door tot he room slid open and a man in a simple black suit made his way in without hesitation. "Father I have already made up my mind and do not intend to change it if you have come to lecture me you may leave me to my work lest I grow ill of your presence", taken aback the man stared at Vergil for a long moment then smiled and shook his head slowly. "No my son I am not here to lecture you nore am i here to complain I simply thought it was time you inherited something of great value to aid you in the war ahead" the man spoke calmly and as he did so drew a short staff covered in runes from behind his back which he presented to Vergil as a gift. "This has been passed down the family line for generations and bears great power from the many powerful runes that coat it and the mana of the living wood the feeds it, I thought it only fitting that it go to you in this time of greatness". Looking up from his work Vergil felt a sense of warmth from his father and of purpose coming from the item he offered, standing Vergil made his way around the mahogany desk and gently took up the staff that responded to his lineage immediately by activating its many runes. "I thank you father and swear to use it well as I seek the grail with all my might" he then bowed respectfully to his father before turning to the side and speaking clearly "Robin we have received a gift to aid us will you not thank the man who has given it to us." With a shimmer a lone woman in a green hood appeared in the corner holding her bow at the ready as she often did yet she lowered it and held out a hand which his father shook respectfully "Thank you for your aid."

Now holding his new staff close vergil made his way outside and began to send up colored flares for all to see, those of importance would know their meaning as he called a meeting in two days time of all who wished to partake in peaceful talks on neutral ground.

conrad figured he would stop by where the flares had been launched from, and so stopping just outside the balcony or rather in vtew he held his hands at his sides before calling out"hey i know i'm early , but you offered a peaceful talk why not over a beer

Conrad laughed aloud "well i would be a fine fool then, i see you have similar taste in drink, and well a bottle of whiskey such as that is hard to come by,... shall we he said motioning towards the estate "and you don't mind if my servant joins do you she does enjoy her liquor,?"
