Astarael was walking through the forest looking for something yummy to eat, maybe a nice mouse. She liked chasing those. Sita had let her out today to have some fun now that it wasn't raining any more. She sat and poked at a little puddle of water from the rain and laughed.
Ranna: Ranna flicked an ear, hearing the dew hit the leaves, as it fell from higher branches. It was a beautiful day, and for once.. just this once.. her big "brother" Train was too busy napping in a tree close by. She could explore.. she could frolic! Just as long as she didn't get too lost, she could actually have some fun. She hummed lightly to herself, pawing at the tall blades of grass oblivious to her surroundings.
Astarael: Spotting a mouse tail slipping through the bushes next to her Star went into high alert and smiled. Wiggling her butt she charge through the bushes and went after the mouse. But as soon as she came out of the bushes she saw someone she hadn't seen in what seemed like forever! She stumbled and rolled and forgot all about the mouse as she landed in a puddle. "Ranna! Sister is that you!" she asked as she laughed and stood up again and hurried to her sister.
Ranna: Ranna jumped back, not expecting something to pop out of the bushes so suddenly. It took her a good while to realize what the other was saying as well, still quite in shock that anyone was around. Big brother always told her not to talk to strangers but.. this stranger looked familiar? "Sis.. sister?" She frowned, confused. "I don't know if I have a sister or not, miss. I was found in the rain a long time ago .. "
Astarael: She smiled and nodded. "That's the day we got left out side when the humans left us. You was so little and I was a bit older. I saw them leave us in a little box in the rain. I tried to call for help as best i could with how little we was and fell off the porch. I got found by nice Sita but when I went back to find you again you was gone and I couldn't find yous. Ranna! Im Astarael! Or Star Cause im so pretty like a Star mama Sita says." she said with a smile as she sniffed at the cat. "Mama says I have good memory. I always know things im told and remember how to find my way home easily!" she said happily. "It all just sticks in my brain mama said." she smiled.
Ranna: She frowned again, not quite sure how.. she was feeling. "I had a sister? ... I had a family?" She tilted her head, trying to think. It was so long ago, and she was so little when Train had found her, she didn't really remember much. But what reason would this cat have to lie to her? And besides.. she looked so similar to her. Almost like they were twins. "I.. I.. I don't think you are lying. But I don't remember. I'm sorry..." She lowered her head, sniffling. She was never alone, but... she had a sister? She thought about bolting away, to go ask Train, but she wasn't sure if she should. Train was her protecter yes, but he was pretty much against anything that could hurt her. Even a butterfly if it was menacing enough. "You.. you can't be lying, come to think of it.. you knew my name." She blinked at that thought. Eyeing the other, she tried to accept this. "So.. I have a sister. Um. Um. What now?"
Astarael: She smiled and giggled. "Sita showed me a book and said I might have whats called an eidetic memory. It means I remember most anything I see. So I remember your face and what mama used to call you. I think its nice but sometimes I don't want to remember things...like when I woke up last week with a giant spider sleeping on my face. That I could sooner forget but sadly I can not." she said with a shiver as her fur ruffled a little. "Oh I dunno lets play! I can show you how to hunt a mouse! Or play with butterflies. I don't like frogs though their slimy and stupid. They just jump about and don't taste good at all! do not try to eat one!"
Ranna: She listened respectfully, and curiously. She had never hard of such a memory like that. It was a miracle she could remember something from the week before, much less than from when she was a newborn.. that sort of memory must be really cool to have. Or.. like with the spider.. maybe a curse to have? She wasn't quite sure. She considered the others suggestions, slightly mortified. "M..mouse? Frogs? .. Aren't they dangerous? Full of icky germs and stuff? I was told not to really bother those sorts of things... "

Astarael smiled at her sister and nodded. "They can be but you gots to clean them and like i said don't eat the frogs their icky. But mice are yummy. I take them home and mama cleans them and cooks them. But its fun to chase them and catch them! They make funny noises when you chase them too and then more when you catch them. I feel bad sometimes but i gots to eat and i do not like the people buildings and neither does Mama." she said with as smile as she looked at her sister. "What have you been doing? Who do you live with? Do you need a home? Mama will take you happily!" she said with a big smile.
