Fire and heat up to but not including molten metal level does not bother her but in the cold she grows tired easily. In winter level cold she will not leave her workshop.

Gear has worked hard to have the level of understanding she does of mechanics. She works in secret on many things one of which had been her mechanical assistant. She has focused on them for sometime so even though she has been in the city for a pretty long time not many know she even exists. This does not mean she is the type who just doesn't like people she just gets absorbed into her work and forgets to interact with the world.
Now she works all the time either on requests or in her labs all the while occasionally stretching her Mechanomancy powers. In her office however she has a machina golem named Talbot who does all her filing since she is not a particularly organized individual.
