Collecting energy seemed much easier to do in theory than it was in practice…but practicing was what Cavensite found it necessary to do at this point in time. It was so much more difficult draining energy from a victim who was…well.
Conscious.
She was sure that with enough practice she would be able to…but for now it was just a little too difficult if they were struggling…so a good sharp whack to the back of the neck ended that quickly. Bless her enhanced strength and good looks.
But, regardless. Now that she had the civilian thoroughly knocked out, she began to slowly form the elusive energy ball, her smile growing more and more pronounced the larger it got. Okay. So maybe this was pretty easy…and that energy looked so lovely so…
This was perfect. Everything was going perfectly…and Painite would be so proud that she was going off and doing things on her own. Getting stronger was important…and pleasing Paintie was clearly the most important thing that she could be doing. Because…there was no need to incur the wrath of that woman…that damn beautiful and terrifying woman.
No, she was a good minion, and she would always be such.
This growing ball of energy would be sure to help in proving that.

Bela hadn't been expecting to be out so late at night. However, her appointment had run long and the girl was running late. She'd been trying to stay out of the streets since nights had become so dangerous unless she was with a group of people.
However, tonight she was alone and worried about what she might run into. He over active imagination had already got her thinking about possible monsters that went bump in the night. When suddenly she happened upon a woman who had just struck a person so they fell unconscious. Hopefully not dead! Bela squeaked as she ducked into the nearest hiding spot she could find to watch what was happening.
She was trying not to panic but also figure out what to do. "Ohh... someone needs to help them." She looked for her phone... oh right she didn't have pockets in this costume and her phone was left at home... "Damn." She hissed.
She was trying her best to stay unseen and unheard when suddenly . . . out of no where a star tipped arrow appeared in front of her. The young woman's brow lofted as she looked at the arrow. "It's like some bizarre fairy tale."
She looked around debating quickly, "Well Bela, do you want to be the one ten years from now, when they ask you what you did to help stop this, say you didn't do anything? Or do you want to grab the floating magical arrow and wake up in the morning to this being a dream?"
It was totally a dream right? Bela was standing there a few more seconds but she noticed a small glow and it was getting brighter, "Damnit gimme the damn arrow." She muttered grabbing it. Hoping that this was some wild dream of a larp session and the woman that had just knocked out the man was one of the lead characters in the session. "Yes, I apply for the larp session."
She added as she found herself pledging to -- something -- norse myth probably from the sound? Odainsaker. With in a few more moments she was running after the strange woman, glancing over to a shop window to see she was... in an even more strange getup than she had been before. Actually. . . this costume left her fairly unclad. "Huh. Hey, you. Stop~!" She said sliding dramatically to a stop pointing the little arrow at the woman. Hoping that you know... she wouldn't actually have to larp battle because that glowing ball prop looked pretty real.

Cavansite was not expecting any trouble tonight. Nobody was around, nobody but her and the energy giver and…
And then someone else was there. What…?
There was both a voice and a feeling that just burst into life with no warning and…that was just stupid. The lieutenant sighed eyes flicking to the energy orb she had just spent so much time collecting. Like hell this was going to ruin it. She wasn’t going to let it…she had to get rid of it…so away it went…just poofed into…into something. And in its place she brought out her…fairy wand. Well. Well indeed.
Slowly, deliberately, Cavansite moved away from the unconscious fellow that she was draining energy from, and raised her own star topped weapon right back at the…ah. Scantly clad woman before her. “My my. Is this the help that the poor people of the world send? A girl with her underwear showing? Now, I have to say I don’t mind the view, but why don’t you just run along home and let me get back to my work, okay? My star is bigger than your star, so you’ve already lost this fight, dearie.”
She had to admit, her bravado was bigger than she had ever thought it could be…and she was quite happy about that. Painite would be so proud.

Odain's brows lofted as she watched the woman quip about her in her underwear. "Well my dear, they say size doesn't always matter. As long as you're still satisfied as the result."
Her smile was coy and actually Odainsaker was hoping that she wasn't going to regret this. Her hands were on her hips despite scantly clad. "At least my outfit is far prettier than yours." She added as an afterthought.
"So do we just stand here to throw insults?" She quarried for some reason she felt like this was both a stupid and dumb question but well . . . she could worry about how stupid later.

Cavansite blinked, and a grin spread across her face. “Well. I’ll be damned. Was that supposed to be something witty? And, no, I know you’re quite wrong about that, your outfit might be more slutty than mine, but I do prefer the colors of my outfit. I’m a sexy as ******** space fairy, so deal with it. And I do think that throwing insults is a great idea, if you don’t…then why don’t you start throwing punches?”
If the girl didn’t, Cavansite sure would. She was so ready. In fact.
The lieutenant grinned more broadly and moved a few steps closer, hips swaying ever so slightly. She was like a cobra. A pink and teal cobra…and this little girl was about to be struck. With fangs…
Or with fairy wand. Whatever worked.
Her arm came up and she thrust her sparkling wand at the other woman, knowing it was going to do jack s**t, but hey. She had class, and the other lady didn’t. She would win. Hands down.

Odain smiled, "Nope."
She started laughing, "Sorry sweetie I'm more sparkles than you. So I do believe that I work better as the fae." She pulled out her arrow and brandished it at the sparkling wand.
"Shall we duel then!?" She smacked the arrow against the little sparkly wand. "One that wins is the best larper."

The lieutenant gave a confused look. “…What the hell’s a larper? This isn’t some game, faegirl. This is real. This is a real thing, so, get with it. Or get dead.” She kept her wand pressed hard against the star tipped arrow and brought her other hand around, reaching for something, anything…hair would be nice, to be honest. That would be a proper girl fight…sadly though, her fingers curled around something metal, and she tugged it hard, nabbing the page’s necklace.
“Aw, damn. I was hoping to get something that would hurt you, dollface.”
This wasn’t a game. She had to make Painite proud…and have fun, so that was..she was having fun, she wasn’t going to lie…this was amusing and fun and…
Interesting.
She liked interesting.
"I have to say..." She drew the necklace close, grinning. "I'm keeping this, thanks love."

Odainsaker looked scandalized. "What's a larper?" She started laughing, "Oh Right sorry I broke 4th wall rule."
There was a startled look however when the lt grabbed her necklace and she gasped. "How dare you!" The other one was hoping to grab something that would hurt? Really?
"I'll show you how to hurt sweetcheeks." She moved dropping the arrow and grabbed the lt's wrist trying to twist her arm back behind her.

Cavansite tried for a moment to figure out just what was so funny, then finally shrugged. “Okay, if you want to be a little brat about it, I’ll just google it later, no biggie.” She looked happily at her new treasure, and grinned, tossing it up into that strangely amazing pocket that she had stored the energy in. How handy was that?
“What’s wrong little dove? Missing your necklace?” She had been too busy hiding the necklace and gloating to bother blocking the other woman’s hand, and whoops. There went her arm behind her back. That was no good. “Really? That’s how you’re going to play this game?”
She struggled for a minute, then just laughed, glancing downwards, seeing those cute, unprotected toes. “Well, I must admit, I’m in a slight bind…but you’re nearly completely unprotected.” And there she went, stomping as hard as she could on the page’s unprotected piggies. Stomp stomp.

Odainsaker looked confused when Cavansite seemed not to understand, "Okay seriously? A Larper is people like you and me that dress up in costumes. . ."
She paused as the woman called her little dove and stole her necklace, 'How rude!" She was going to try and get the necklace back but she wasn't sure where it went.
When then she was caught off guard, "Ow ********! Hey jerk, you're not actually suppose to hurt people in Larping." She'd been going fairly easy. She shuffled on her feet for a mintue hoping back and forth before trying to knock the Lt down by kicking her leg out from under her. If she could get the girl where she could just trap her and make her sit still she could figure out what the hell was really going on.

“But my little dove…this isn’t a Larping thing. This is real life. This is fighting. This is me working to kick your a**.” Cavansite was so pleased that she had landed her foot on top of the other woman’s, that she was at least a little caught unawares when the leg of her enemy was suddenly trying to trip her.
“Really? Really, little dove? That’s the best you’ve got?” She stumbled, sure…but a stumble wouldn’t stop her, a stumble was nothing, really.
“You’ll have to wake up earlier than that in order to best me.” She was so falsely confident…it wasn’t like she was really used to this…this was her first fight really…but there was no reason to be scared…she was in charge here…and this other girl thought it was some…game some…fun thing where they dressed up.
It was time for her to see what was really going on. This was something important. This was war. Seriously.
The lieutenant’s arm swung out, trying to land a great punch right in Odainsaker’s gut. Because that was how people learned.

The woman was chiding her, when she stumbled. It was enough to let Odian back up by jumping backwards a little but it didn't do any good when she got caught in the gut with a swing.
She smiled slightly cockily even though she was winded and holding her stomach. "No, I just didn't think I'd really have to scrap." When she managed a quick wind she aimed a punch for the woman's face. Where it landed if it even did was questionable.
"Is that better?" She asked when she had swung with all her force. She was use to being harassed, actually she'd even had older brothers they were all moved away by now. . . but that didn't mean she was always the best fighter. Her petite frame kept her from having as much weight as she'd liked behind a punch but she'd always just do her best.

Cavansite laughed, managing to move so the punch only just grazed her cheek…it still stung but…but she was still on top…seriously. And this girl still didn’t even know what was really going on so…that was cool.
“It is better! I like the fight in you, I think you’ll be my number one play thing when I get better at all of this.” For now though…things were getting a little too ugly…and she didn’t want any bruises…but it had been fun…so…since she was ahead. Maybe it was just time to go.
The lieutenant again raised her fairy wand and gave the page a sharp tap on the head. “I think I’ll take my sparkling exit now though, little dove. Don’t forget me, you hear? I’ll be back for you, and we’ll have such fun together.”
She winked and turned on her stylish heel, giving a wave before running off into the night.
Playthings were cool. But she would have to ask Painite to teach her the right way to really have the most fun…punching only did so much, and she wanted to make her really…remember their meeting. Ah well. Finesse would come with time, she supposed.
