The central and largest tower in the Village, The current Tsuchikage, Fuukyu Akamichi, has turned his office into a large hall with long tables lining the sides and a cook-fire in the center, along with places to prepare larger meals off to the sides. This is the Tsuchikage's main workplace, and also where he spends much of his time outside of training or teaching, so he can usually be found here, (whether it is him or a clone).
Fuukyu was sitting in the massive stone chair…which was remarkably comfortable considering what it was made of, scanning over some paperwork on his desk, thinking about the new class of genin that had just recently graduated the academy. He couldn’t help but remember back when he and Ayaka had finished there, and how far he’d come since then. He’d never expected to end up leading the stone village. Leaning back in his chair, he breathed in the scent of the big roast pig he had cooking in the fire pit in his office as he reached for a bag of chips in a desk drawer and started munching… had to keep his chakra up.
I am not a snowflake. I am not a sweet, infantilising symbol of fragility and life. I am a strong, fierce, flawed adult woman. I plan to remain that way, in life and in death.
Rhea hurried through the streets of Iwagakure toward the Tsuchikage's office. She had just graduated from the academy here, and planned on making this place her home. As such, she needed her headband so she could begin training and learn all her bloodline and other ninjutsu skills that she could so she could be the best shinobi she possibly could. Mentally looking back the red-haired Senju couldn't remember how or why she started to want to become a shinobi, but it was a singular driving force of motivation.
Rhea shook her head, which made her mane of bright red hair fly around her. She hurried into the Kage's building and stopped dead when the smell of roasting meat hit her nose. The young woman licked her lips, she'd cooked many a wild boar during her travels and it was one of her favorite meals, but now was not the time for eating. She took a deep breath and hurried to where she could see the Tsuchikage sitting. She bowed to him and smiled slightly, "Excuse me, Tsuchikage, I'm Rhea Maunalani, I'm here for my headband."
Igarashi made her way into the office smiling from ear to ear. Her tails hidden under her outfit and her body wrapped in a hooded cloak to hide her ears. the only things noticeable was the hilt of her katana and her feet. She moved swiftly through the building itself and made almost no sound. Upon entering the office she was met with the kage and a young girl who she was only to guess was a fresh out of the academy genin. Making no eye contact with anyone she stood back and waited for her turn to speak.
She watched the young girl out of the corner of her eye. noticing how she held herself and above all else how she was dressed. Wondering where this girl picked up her outfits from she was surprised at how well she pulled it off. Still not saying much of anything she averted her eyes to the kage who was still just as plump as could be. She thought back to when she was young and around her fathers feet half the time he came over. He was always wanting to cook for them which she didn't mind but her father was more of a 'I can feed my own family' type. So half the time they would argue but the kage always won cause she would cry about how hungry she was and her dad always gave in.
She then began to think about her days as a student back in the academy, she was always top of every class there and some kids made fun of her because she was not normal like the rest. She still hid herself to not draw attention to what she was to this day. Probably for the rest of her life, but no matter she was here to see what she could do to help the kage out.

The day was already a bust for Nai as soon as he had gotten up from his bed. Though this was a good day by all means, because he was now going to be a genin for the village, it still meant that he had to wake up and actually do something today. With his lazy nature he began to stroll in a tad bit behind the rest of the initiates with a bit of dismay on his face. Though, as he thought carefully to himself, it may not have been dismay but rather it was constipation due to last nights curry he bought. This was a very valid thought as it was the bargain brand he had grown to admire.
When he finally snapped back to reality for a second he stared at the other students he had grown up with and his smile grew slightly larger as he stared at the kage. With his large size enveloping the chair Nai could do nothing but picture a great boar monster peering over papers pretending to read as his little goblin and tree sprite minions stood before him. His own persona in this story was a fungus monster that just oozed poison, which in his own right he really thought he would be cool if he were. Nai's daydreaming took a strong grip of him yet again which was the primary reason he got in trouble growing up.
With eyes peering around the great hall he gave a simple chuckle of amusement as the thoughts of storybooks flooded his mind. His finger fidgiting by his side with a slight nervousness as he waited to be called up to get his headband. Though he had his mind on other things he really did want to be a Genin and better his skills so that one day he could become that poisonous toadstool he had always wanted to be.

Walking briskly towards the kages office he eagerly wished to continue his training. Tapping his swords hilt on the door a couple times before entering. "Xanos here reporting from the academy for a graduate headband to genin." His eyes glanced around the room seeing a figure he had not recognized, business that did not concern him. What seemed to be another Genin in line for the same thing and if it wasn't Rhea. Pretty much the only other student in his class that seemed to excel at something. He waited patiently for the Kages response.

[❖] Being one of the last ones to get to the academy Genji slowly walked into the large hall like structure that was the tschikage's office. The fresh smell of meat cooking over the open fire hit his nose and immediately drew his attention towards the feast that the tschikage was seemingly preparing. It seemed there was a lot of genin her. He could recall seeming some of them from the academy, the most noted the firey redhead girl and the boy who had everything Xanos. Genji smirked and then sighed as he approached the from behind. His eyes took note of the other genin staring off into what seemed like his own dream world, how Genji wished he had such luxuries. "Hey can I get that headband now so I can get to work on beating you?" He asked his hand came up nonchalantly and began to rub he back of his head thinking about the tschikage's fighting capabilities.

She didn’t really feel anything at the moment, other than eagerness to get to work on learning her healing techniques. Since all she mainly did was heal, she was kind of confident in getting to know her fellow shinobi more to find who would work the best with her, primarily because she focused solely on healing and anything else was just complete moot to her. ‘Looks like there’s already a crowd here.’
Looking around as she entered the Tsuchikage’s building, Megumi couldn’t help but notice all the Genin that had come for their headband. Some of the Genin she recognized, while others she didn’t. Those who knew her knew that she was only good for one thing: Healing. While some didn’t think that was a talent, others really appreciated what she did.

Standing outside the tower for a moment, the female only looked at it. She had been standing her for a while now, watching people go in as she sat on a bench near by. She had seen some of her classmates from the academy, but hadn't said a word to them; opting to keep quiet and keep in the shadows for now. She rubbed at her face for a moment, finally steeling herself, and then got up and made her way in to the tall spire that marked the middle of the village. The smell of meat hit her like a wall and although she wasn't sure who was cooking and why, she kind of wanted to smack them. Assaulting the nose of your guests the minute they walked through the door was rude, and the smell made her stomach turn a little. She didn't hate meat, but this was a bit ridiculous. Tor made her way to the group of people, then bowed to her kage before stepping back and waiting her turn. She was uneasy with this many people near by but she knew if she stuck it out she would be out here soon enough.
Torgrita didn't make any attempts to communicate with her fellow gennin, which she admitted quite often was one of her greatest weaknesses. She didn't like teams, and speaking to other people she didn't know was more than unsavory. The kunoichi looked away from small group, biting her lip out of nervousness. Why did so many people show up today?

As Fuukyu sat in his chair, looking over his paper work, he noticed as a large group of people filed into his office one by one, mostly genin showing up for their headbands…..he decided to address them in order of arrival. “Ah, welcome everyone, congratulations on graduating from the Academy!” Fuukyu would dig into another drawer in his desk and pull out a bunch of headbands, laying them out on his desk. “There you guys go, grab your headbands and welcome to the ranks of Iwagakure Shinobi…” He’d then reach into his pocket and draw out a kunai, throwing it across the large hall, adding “Feel free to hang out a bit if you like, cut yourselves off some roast pig, it smells like it’s cooked and should be nice and juicy!.” He scanned the room a bit, seeing one of the genin spacing out, and snapped his fingers, “NAI, wake up, boy, pay attention! You space out like that in the field, you die….focus!” He then registered Genji’s statement, and leaned back laughing in his chair, “Good luck with that, Genji, it’ll be a while before you’ll be able to have a shot at besting me in a fight, my boy.” Fuukyu then stood up from his desk, walking around in front of the new genin and other gathered shinobi, seeing a few of them shying nervously towards the corner of the group. Walking over towards the other two girls, “Megumi, Torgrita, c’mon, no need to hide back here.” He said, with a smile before walking over to the roast pig, grabbing a leg and ripping it clean off with his hand, “C’mon, you all just graduated, celebrate a bit!” he boomed out happily, taking a sip from his sake gourd, the sake cycling around both his eyes like glasses before reaching his mouth. He then noticed Igarashi hiding against the wall with her hood up and cloak, walking over to her, talking more softly, “Igarashi, why’re you still wearing that cloak and hood? You’re a chuunin now, and with your skill with katon no one’s gonna make fun of you anymore.” He then took a quick bite of the hog leg in his hand, nodding thoughtfully, thinking about how it cooked up well.
__________Megumi looked around the room, acknowledging all the other Genin before grabbing her headband off the table and securing it around her waist. She shot smiles to everyone in the room, attempting to single out anyone that she might’ve recognized but to no avail. There wasn’t any hard-core healers in the room like she had been so it wasn’t likely that anyone would’ve spent enough time with her to know who she was. “Thank you Tsuchikage Sir!” Megumi turned her attention back to the Tsuchikage and giggled before walking out of the room. She knew that she could stay and eat pork, but she was a bit of vegetarian, not that she wanted to say anything to the Tsuchikage and risk offending him. Besides, she was so passionate about healing, that’s all she could think about right now. ‘Alrighty then! I guess I’ll get to work at the Academy.’ Megumi nodded to herself and eagerly ran out of the Tsuchikage’s building. Having her Headband, Megumi was ready to take on the world. ____{EXIT TO ACADEMY}

Rhea blinked and nodded with a slight smile. She reached forward and took a green headband and then tied it around her throat like choker. She then nodded at Xanos, he was one of the few that she'd gotten along with in her class. Rhea looked around at all the other genin, and the person in the cloak that had come in directly behind her. She wondered who that was, and if he or she was a genin. But that was unlikely, seeing as the Kage had only put six headbands on the desk, and there had been seven people in the office before the healer from the academy had left. When the Tsuchikage offered them food Rhea hesitantly went and accepted a chunk of the roast pig and started munching for a moment. She bowed to her Kage and then turned to look at Xanos, "So, finally genin. It's about time."
Only a grumble was risen from Tor as the Tsuchikage spoke to her, it wasn't like she was afraid, she just didn't like dealing with people. The young female stepped forward, picking up a black headband and tying it so that it was wrapped around her forehead like a lot of other shinobi wore it. She looked around at the genin, and one chunnin, surrounding the tsuchikage one last time before nodding to the larger man. "I will be taking my leave now, Lord Tsuchikage. Thank you for your time." And with that the kunoichi turned on her heel and walked back out the spire. She wasn't hungry, the thick smell of meat hung in the air and it was starting to give her a headache. She had things to learn, and not enough time to learn it all.

Hearing Rhea's comment he scoffed slightly, "Only as fast as the academy would let me. How about you? We both seem to be right here at the finish line together, Or has a new race begun?" Smiling some he scanned the others over not knowing them personally. Most likely of other classes. He did not judge them considering he lacked any knowledge of their abilities. His Kage was a bit of a jolly fellow. He surely knew how to live but his title prooved his abilities well enough. He did wish to enter into a spar with this man at some point but he knew of his current ability well enough to know he would not stand a chance. Hearing Genji's comment made him laugh a bit outloud as he turned his head to him. "Please my lord indulge this Genji's request, some humility could do him some good. Watching that for todays entertainment I will surely enjoy some meat to go with."
