Not currently something we'll be doing, but something we can consider implementing in the future.

Your long-defunct text system seems to be making a come back and has been bugging some users. Is this a glitch or intentional? There seems to be no way of turning it off. Even replying "STOP" doesn't work. I hope this isn't another forced announcement feature. This could get ugly if people report it to their cell providers. Are these users being charged for these texts as well?

A couple AtS ago, in a pre-event, I had asked about adding a notification about having to fill out the captcha at the top of the forum post.
I understand that this would not be a priority (for obvious reasons), but I was just curious, is this something that the staff was still considering doing? emotion_kirakira

I dont even know if this is the right place, but I talked with about this problem with some mods but it seems not find a solution.
I´ve visiting profiles and stuff, and I´ve found some of them with sexual/explicit or content that are not allowed to show, so I tried to report it, but when I submit the report it says
Data Validation Error
You cannot report a user that doesn't exist!
I even tried to report my mule to see if the user was the only one, but it appears the same message no matter who.

This error happens when the Additional Information box does not have any text in it. You have to put either information as to why you're reporting the profile or w/e in the box.
Be sure to select a section when reporting profiles. Leaving it at the default "-Select section-" will give you that error.

We plan to have some board consolidation done on some of the less active or no longer needed forums. We're hoping that by doing this we can increase moderator and forum assistant presence in these forums and allow for quicker clean up of these threads as they pop up.

It would be really cool for the avi builder to be able to save your avatar with the list of items, and also perhaps have a button to turn OFF the ghosting of another? I'm constantly having to get my ghost ID from my profile because it won't seem to turn off.

Totally agree on an item list with the avatar image! We want to add this as part of the next update. Regarding turning off ghosting of another, I'm not entirely sure I understand what your asking but you can stop ghosting someone else by entering a 0 in the box.

The marketplace home page has a wishlist section that lists your items, how many current listings there are, and the average price. Quite often, though, the average price is off by several billion. Any chance of fixing this?

Yes, this is likely simply a problem with the data being cached for to long so it doesn't reflect the latest fluctuations.

It's just that sometimes I put things in the pre-ask thread and then it just kinda seems to be ignored? Maybe I ask dumb questions? Also I tend to want to read what everyone else has already said/posted, so that takes a while, but I don't want to ask a question that someone else has already asked so ...

Mmm... I don't think this would probably be happening, ATS actually takes up a large part of our day and that's only one hour. Tuesday has thus far been the best day for us to have multiple staff members around, so I don't see that changing. We only take about five questions from the pre-event thread, and it's usually questions we haven't answered before.

Good. Basically will allow you to view an item and then select what tags go with the item. The tags will be from a master "dictionary" created by staff to prevent abuse. An item gets tagged once a threshold of people have selected the same tag for an item. The master dictionary will of course be updated based on feedback from the community as well as anything new that might be introduced item wise to the system.

We worked on this but we ran into significant glitching with items in the shop. We decided to scrap it until we could dedicate more time to the change.

I only ask because I tend to pull open every generation of an item just in case there is a possibility to bid on one, and then I end up with like fifteen tabs open.

There is a couple who sits in town heaven nearly 24/7 with the sole purpose of being rude and trolling and bullying people out of the area. I hand several others have reported them several times, to no avail. They are still constantly there and making the entire area miserable for people, throwing slurs and making fun of people.
Is it because they never log out, so bans aren't implemented? I know you can always ignore them, but they attack everyone who enters the area while they are online. I can't remember their usernames off of the top of my head, sadly, but the two are always on the couches.

ok so during my time on gaia i tend to do a lot of shopping for my self and for others and i have ran into an annoyance or two in the mp and wishlists
first the mp problem i have noticed that if i buy an item and then gift it to a person(i hang out in charity and anon gifting formus so i tend to gift a lot when im feeling generous)
if i then go to check on the item it says that i already own the item even though i already gave that iem away and own no more copies of it
for example lets say i bought elemental hair gave it away and then wanted to buy it for another person or for my self when i go to the item on the mp it says i already own the item can we fix this?

I tend to buy multiple of some items i like cause i want one for each pose i liked but when i go to the mp i never know how many i have unless i constantly keep checking my inventory and then going back to the marketplace is there a way to make it say how many of an item i own while in the mp instead of the general message saying i own this item already

I have been told that bumping threads with linked images is against the rules. However bump shops get away with it, and I have also been told that if the image is small that it's allowed to be linked back to a guild/thread. I have been told by a few mods that small images that are linked are ok to use in the aquarium forum for bumping glows but this sticky says otherwise. Can we get some clarification on what is allowed?

Mmm... Definitely an interesting situation, we'll go ahead and get this figured out. Think there was probably some miscommunication, or it's just an old policy we had that needs to be removed from the forum. But we'll get it figured out for you.
