Still off of work from his sprained ankle, Colin took himself to the park once more with his DSLR camera, hoping to get some interesting shots while he was there. It wasn't that there
weren't other things he could have been doing, but most of those things made him feel restless or set him to
thinking too much - neither of which were good options.
So the park it was, with it's ebb and flow of humanity going about their daily lives. Carefree children, teenagers pretending they're too cool to play while staring down at their cellphones, adults with e-readers, books, or newspapers. And then there were people there to
perform. Because it was a large, open space and anyone was welcomed - for the most part. Colin liked to people watch, too.
Moving slowly across grass, sand, and poured cement path, the blond made his way through the park, taking photos here and there or just watching people going about their business. He had a camera bag slung across his shoulders and his camera in his hands. Water bottles were tucked in the bag for convenience sake. Colin saw a small group of kids and teens starting to form on the far side of a clearing and made his way over to check it out.
There was a rather large guy with a foam sword - cosplay? Or was this something different? Curiousity piqued, he stopped nearby and fingered the lens-cover toggle thoughtfully; would photos be alright? Someone had their smartphone out and was filming the guy already, but that felt kind of rude. He wanted attention, clearly, but what was acceptable? Granted, doing anything in public removed your right to privacy - he knew this very well, from dancing - but
still.
