Personality: Garreth feels especially anxious and sad when things aren't exactly the way he likes. He is very hard on himself sometimes and he doesn't like to make people worry about him. Don't get him wrong, Garreth can fake confidence to the point of arrogance, wasting no time in pointing out his prowess to others.
Bio: Garreth's father was the owner of an entertainment company, managing several casinos and amusement parks. He was born into wealth, so life was supposed to be much easier. His father took a very hands-off approach to his life and was rarely involved. Those business trips were so much more important than violin recitals, graduations, and the occasional birthday. Those only happened like, what? Once a year? Due to heredity and genetics, Garreth was born brittle bone disease and because of this, his mother suffocated him with her over-protectiveness and he lived a fairly sheltered life. Probably because she blames herself. He always made sure to look extra happy when she brought him books to read. He actually does enjoy them.
As it so happened, Garreth's father was having an affair "yes, tragic, I know" and brought a child, way younger than his son, to their estate to live when the child's mother had died. At first, he was resentful towards her. His father attended her programs and seemed to enjoy her company far more, but Garreth realized that he wasn't being fair. Her mother had passed and her father was a piece of s**t. Besides, she was cute and liked to read, listen to him play, and look over all the pictures he took. She's his biggest fan.
Determined not to stay under his father, Garreth took a job away from home.
