Council Races
Shardan

the oldest is the shardan. point of origin is a sentient star made of pure energy. this star could see other planets life growing there and as such it sent out pieces of itself all identical. these pieces were invisible to the naked eye and simply watched and learned for thousands upon thousands of years. those who witnessed death and war grew to be aggressive and slow to trust, those who saw peace and love grew to be loving and kind wanting only to protect. those who saw death through natural events only wanted to protect what they had and to repair the universe. which created the three tribes. chaos: the soldiers of the shardan, serenity: the philosophers and the intellectuals of the race, Balance: those who protect only the shardan and rebuild what needs to be rebuilt. Being invisible and all energy the shardan can ONLY interact with one thing. a small not so rare type of crystal which they possess so to speak in order to interact with the worlds around them.
using these they made themselves bodies to exist within. seeing that the worlds that orbited the star of their origin were packed with this crystal and tungsten they took to making their bodies out of both. creating nine foot tall solid tungsten bodies the shardan became the backbone of the council's front line soldiers. the most feared enemy anyone could face is an angry shardan.
their culture is rather calm despite them all being giant death machines. very peaceful and philosophical beings they strive to understand the world around them but are often confused by other races who have biological differences, (see the nekomian empire for reference)
all shardan are linked to some extent. calling on this link allows them to "traverse the sanguine river" or communicate with their origin and see all those who returned to the star. Shardan names are rather simple. both comprised of two words. if a shardan is of the chaos tribe then they most likely have a name that has some sense of war or violence,..conflict. bloodshiver, marrow shadow...as those of the balance tribe have names made up of words that are rather neutral or gray. and the last would be lovely light names emotion_kirakira
shardan tech is all rather crude. even their ships look like they were just thrown together with metal they just found laying around. though these are very very VERY durable ships given random names in their own language. preferring chemical weapons like gunpowder or other explosives the shardan are plenty strong enough to handle weapons that could splatter an elephant. though mostly you will find them preferring to use their own bodies for war
Something really quick. the Shardan let NO ONE into their space. shardan space is guarded to the bitter end. no one even knows that their origin is a sentient star. Entering shardan space is a crime that is punishable by instant purging. death on the spot with extreme prejudice. there are many reasons for this but mostly its just to keep the origin of their species secret. its the only thing that is really holy or sacred to them.
Classes
Warrior: The Shardan are most famous for their ungodly powerful bodies, heavy strength and metal bodies. Though, they are not very fast on their feet with such heavy bodies.
Marauder: Rather rare, the Shardan marauders have their bodies made from exceedingly light Nekomian metals. With smaller frames these warriors are fast and smart, though they dont much get along with the warrior shardan.
Shaman: shaman is a very important position among the Shardan. looking like the usual shardan warrior with large pieces of the armor cut away. The shaman uses his own energies to fight, seeing he has an abundance of the energy and it slowly leaks back to him there is no troubles. A Shardan shaman can hold his own in combat while casting away with his great power.
Monarch's hand

White hair white eyes physically healthy young looking immortals. highly religious yet peaceful yet strict. very proper these guys are basically immortal jedi XD. their race very human like until they were visited by the monarch in their bronze age. the monarch gifted them with immortality and their powers. Due to the creation of the dark advent their happy peaceful monarchy had to be levied with strict laws preventing damage to the galaxy by accident. The older a monarch's hand member gets in general the more powerful he or she gets. their bodies constantly generate stem cells preventing their aging. and to the talented a method to regenerate their bodies. their telekinetic and telepathic powers are like muscles if they work them out they can eventually become stronger. some even block out all other senses just to empower their telekinetic powers. like a blind man getting a boost to his hearing and sense of smell. only this person would be relying ONLY on their telekinetic powers making them very powerful. The culture is very proper. very respectable though they are not biased towards many things. they will object to some things but they are not really "in your face" about it. stereo type "religious nut"
no these people are kind yet rather reserved. not many non members of their race share their religion and even then less are allowed into it fully because its rather closely tied into the knowledge that grants them their powers.
Monarch's hand's names are very simple. they enjoy moderate length names and since they live forever its not often they reproduce so they have not last name family name or clan name. if that is needed then either the father or the mother or both will be mentioned after saying the first name or just the last person in their family line that did anything famous. they are found of names that are rather hard to pronounce Kysshik, Marjyyn, double letters are very commen in their names.
monarch's hand soldiers are feared in general because of the vast diversity of capabilities. their technology is feared do to its advanced abilities as their own physical power is unnerving. adepts that can tear you in half with their mind or burn you alive with pyrokinisis, augmentation soldiers who can hit you with a hammer and send you and the tank you are in flying.
tech, preferring the more sophisticated look the monarch's hand uses plasma based weapons, (basically just look at the covenant from halo thats about what it looks like just with less purple....a lot less purple...in fact replace the color purple with white.) ship names are usually very philosophical or religious
Classes
Adept/Sage: The adepts are powerful telekinetic users, their powers extend into fire, ice, lighting, or flesh. Flesh being a healing school for them. These men and women are very well known for their powerhouse elemental abilities and their psychic attacks of fear and confusion only to sweep through a stunned battlefield with fire and lighting.
Shade: The peak of Monarch's hand Tech, these individuals use their powers to mute the sound around them, and their tech to bend the light hiding them from view. Just in time to close in and stick a blade into the heard of an enemy. Or to climb into a high spot to put a plasma charged bolt through someone's face.
War Sage: Directing all their powers inward to boost strength and regeneration the war sage of the monarch's hand fight almost entirely at close or medium range with powerful pulls of telekinetic power to get enemies into range for their melee weapons.
Nekomian empire

the only member of the council race that actually has a life span.
looking like sleek petite humans with an average height nearly a foot shorter than normal humans with cat like ears atop their heads the nekomian empire or the nekos are quite possibly the most interesting of ALL the races in the galaxy. A race that cannot contract or spread disease or have unplanned pregnancies, sexual activity is a VERY large portion of this race's culture. though out of respect for most other races they keep it rather private though their biology is rigged up with plenty of extra sensual organs.
Once a proud warrior race somewhat like feudal japan they cling to their old honors yet its not often you see any warrior nekos. their role in the council military is mostly espionage and scouting or snipers, with exception to the legendary tech mages. (will touch on that later) despite their....debauchery and open life styles they have very strict morals. sex just isnt something that registers in this culture. however reproduction is, An unmarried couple having a child is like someone wearing a nazi uniform or a KKK uniform and walking through a heavily populated area. it is HEAVILY frowned upon.
Despire the heavy culture and "honorable warrior" ancestry the neko are VERY physically weak. even their heavy lifters can barely lift 100 lbs, though they are quite fast and quite accurate, a very smart people.
Neko names are a very important part of their culture. ones name will tell you who they are what family they belong to and what they do for a living. most names are at the very most 5 letters long. the first name is their personal given name. their second name is in relation to what they do for a job or more accurately what the majority of their family does and has been doing, fathers and sons generally choose the same line of work as their mothers and fathers. then finally their house name. it is all rather literal. the word Shu means of the empire. so the emperor's name would be "fist name" Shu Shu. his family's job is "of the empire" and his family is "of the empire" all official neko ships have nekomian names as well.
legends and folklore within these people run deep. for instance. though catlike. they have no tails, however in the old days their goddess was a tailed neko that would eventually give to them a mortal version of herself to relieve the emperor of his hardship and duties, to rule until her bloodline died out. needless to say no one has ever seen a neko with a tail. though fake tales are very often seen as a fashion statement.
The neko are very weak as said previously. however one of their most powerful and feared soldiers is the nekomian tech mage Chosen at birth the neko, usually male, is given stimulant drugs and raised very healthily until they come of age where half their brain is removed and replaced. just the things that keep the heart beating or the nervous system in check. the new artificial brain is hooked up to various weapons like telekinetic mods that give the neko immense power. these soldiers are very rare due to the political debate over whether it is right to subject children to such horrors AND due to the mortality rate of the final surgery being so high.
Nekomian technology is based around beauty and efficiency. magnetically powered weapons and silent engines everything about the race is fast and light weight.
Classes
Operative: No finer spies or snipers, these small agile fighters will hide in any corner, any shadow. If they cant reach their mark then they can either level the place with explosives or just convince their enemies into releasing the information needed to complete the job.
Tech knight: a Neko in a tech suit is strong, but not fast. These brave soldiers sacrifice their incredible movement speed and agility in favor of being able to take a hit and deliver powerful strikes against the enemy. With Neko tech these soldiers have suitability in mind. Neko might be cute and weak but a tech suit will make up for that.
Tech mage: Sacrificing half their brain to be replaced with the finest technological advances The Monarch's hand adepts mixed with old lore inspired the Nekomian Tech mage. Fire, ice, lighting, and telekinetics. A tech mage is not to be underestimated even by Shardan standards.
