...to a real life wrestler. In light of Freak's methodical breakdown of how there are no original characters, let's talk about the visible influences in each other's characters. Be specific with your comparisons if you want, or just give a name, alive or dead. Otherwise, please be respectful of each other's feelings when posting.

I remember doing a similar thread a few years ago
But it's all good, there is after all no originality wink (I jest, at least said thread wasn't necro-ed)

So what should I compare Salem too? I mean there's Jake the Snake, but that just doesn't seem fitting. After all, it was merely a phase that you adapted his gimmick. But after thinking quite a bit on it, I'm going to go 'Do you know who I am?' and apply 'Bully Ray' to Salem.

You're probably scratching your head, 'Did Chrono compare Salem to Bully Ray?' yes, yes he did. Here's why.

Firstly like the Bully, Salem is factually infatuated with fictional factions, it's a fact.
Secondly, Salem and Bully have had a hard time being identified as a separate entity from what made them famous. Bully as apart of a tag team, Salem with his radio show

Both are manipulators,
both use the whole strength in numbers aspect
Both have been/currently are authoritative figures.
Both have incorporated the use of a valet/diva/knockout to success.
Both are better as heels than a face
Both have had less than stellar singles reigns
An affinity for camo
The list goes on and on, but the point is...
I think this comparison is rather spot on

Triple H.

Multiple successful title reigns.
IC + OOC relationship.
Successful faction(s).
People hate him for his opinions.
Way better heel than face.
A metric ton of monikers and nicknames.
One of the few remaining vets from the "old days."
Metal theme song (at least for the most part, think you've gone a more anime route with it now).
ICly has been known to "bury" people.
Pretty sure Chrono has at least 5 thrones somewhere.
Brutally honest.

I previously compared Lauri's Bianca and Karen characters to Dawn Marie and Ivory respectively, but now it's the Lone Wolf's turn. After thinking long and hard on this one it dawned on me...

The Iceman himself, the Man of 1004 holds
Dean Malenko.

While Lauri has been a multiple time champion, and Malenko hasn't. Both Lauri and Malenko are avid technical wrestlers, who can have an awesome match with anyone, and make them look good. Even if said person isn't up to par.
Malenko has used disguises to trick others, as has Lauri...
There's something 'Radical' about the two of them, as if the two of them have been in groups of four throughout their endeavors...
