Bio: Centuries ago there was a witch who was the highest priority to be hunted down and killed, she learned the darkest of arts and learned how to summon creatures from the darkest parts in the shadow realm, the place where light refuses to even touch, that is where Erebus now known as Nano was born. Once he was hailed by many to be the king of the shadow realm that was until the witch managed to pull him from it attempting to bind Nano but she failed, unprepared to pull something as strong as Erebus he struck her down, killing her in a bloody mess. Now unleashed upon a realm he had never experiences before his animalistic nature took over and he set out to claim his territory, small villages were the first to fall to him then bigger ones, then a few towns, he was on a blood set rampage and action was called to take him down. Armies after armies sent to their graves in an attempt to take him out but it never worked so they changed their strategy, unable to kill him they resorted to capturing him inside a magical gem so the strongest magicians were called and the plan put into motion, eventually it worked and he was now trapped inside a gem, fully aware of his surroundings but unable to escape his new prison, the men were rewarded handsomely, eventually forming a group known as "The Black Mages".
Two centuries and a half past while he was stuck inside the gem and he was resorted to being nothing but a "plaything" and "test subject" for the group that captured him but unaware to the group over this entire time, the demon was learning, studying, becoming more than just an animal to be poked with a stick, he was evolving, Nano learnt how to change his form and took the shape of another demon he had learned about deciding this would be his desired form from now on. Over the next few weeks Erebus had begun to control one of the younger students, getting him to free him from this prison and upon release he rewarded his new servent with quick and painless death but the others were not so lucky. By the time the DWMA managed to get there everybody was dead, the halls were stained red with their blood, they found the demon asleep amongst the bodies, they captured him and brought him back to death city for research on creatures from the shadow realm.
Nano remained asleep the entire time he had been moved, when he woke he was shackled in a cell with an artifical light baring down on him sapping his strength and making him tired, in an attempt to see just how much stronger a shadow creature was in the dark they cut the light but unaware of just how strong Nano was he managed to break the door down and escape into the streets of death city, causing him to be hunted down, during the fight that followed they managed to make a powerful blow to the demons head, knocking him unconsious and upon hitting the ground it causes even more damage they resulted in amnesia about who he was and what he had done in the past, they took him back to a cell with artifical light, put a seal on him to prevent another escape but were suprised when he woke up with amensia. It's been 50 or so years since then and he now serves under the Shinigami, helping protect the school from any dangers they may arise.
Personality: Fun to be around, Happy when he's given chocolate but mischievous at times when he wants to be, that's how people tend to see him but inside him lies a very, very dark and dangerous being that is held back only by the seal that covers Nano's entire body. While it is true what they say about him, it only applies to his little demon form when he is at his weakest but once he changes to one of his other forms his personality flips, he becomes serious, methodical, choosing to mess with his opponents minds as he tears their body apart.
Little Demon / True Demon Abilities:
• Shadow Melding: While in these forms Nano is able to meld with any shadow he pleases but he is unable to attack from inside the shadows and must exit to cause harm, while inside the shadows he is able to move around the area much much faster. Nano is able to create a shadow for a brief moment if need be but they tire him out very quickly.
• Shadow Weaponry: Nano reaches into the shadows and grabs hold of some of the shadow, he then pulls it out into whatever weapon he desires it to be that is proportional to the size of his form so Little Demon weapons are much smaller than that of True Demon.
• Crescent Strike: Usually prefered to do this with a size or curved sword, Nano slashes in any direction sending out a crescent made of shadows towards the target.
• True Demon Only - Pitch Black: Raising one arm up into the air a ball of pure shadows forms in his hand and begins to channel itself, once it has fully channeled the ball explodes and surrounds the entire area in the pure blackness of Nano's shadow realm, eliminating any light that is in the area and instantly eliminating any that is forms while inside the realm, sight becomes entirely useless while this is active. Lasts four posts, channel is two posts however if Nano takes damage the channeling is canceled, two post cooldown once it ends.
Demon Hound Abilities:
• Shadow Melding: While in these forms Nano is able to meld with any shadow he pleases but he is unable to attack from inside the shadows and must exit to cause harm, while inside the shadows he is able to move around the area much much faster. Nano is able to create a shadow for a brief moment if need be but they tire him out very quickly.
• Spike Ball: Curling up into a ball Nano shoots out fast towards his intended target, if he is able to connect with this attack the spikes that cover his body leave deep wounds on their body.
• Shadow Spike Barrage: The gem on his forehead turns a deep black and begins to fire out spikes made out of shadows, when the spikes enter a persons body they start to infect them with madness and the more that enter the body the quicker it takes over. Any attempt to remove the spikes before they're drained of madness will cause them severe pain and just unleash all of the madness at once into their system. Two posts for the madness to be fully drained, three post cooldown
• Infected Bite: Nano's saliva is infected with his own brand of madness that if he is ever able to connect with a bite he unleashes alot of madness into them at once.
Primeval Shadow Abilities:
• Shadow Melding: While in these forms Nano is able to meld with any shadow he pleases but he is unable to attack from inside the shadows and must exit to cause harm, while inside the shadows he is able to move around the area much much faster. Nano is able to create a shadow for a brief moment if need be but they tire him out very quickly.
• Broken Seal - Passive: Whenever Nano enters this form it means the seal that had been keeping it at bay has been broken, unleashing his full demonic power, energy and madness in one burst overloading the demon, sending him into a fit of rage unable to tell friend from foe. While he's in his form he is faster, stronger, highly unpredictable and dangerous. The only way to bring him back from this state is to reform the main seal that is on his chest in his other forms with his own blood somewhere on his body. For the seal to break Nano has to losing control to his innate madness.
• Full Powered Barrage: Nano lets out a loud roar sending out shadow spikes similar to those he fires in his demon hound form all around him, unlike those spikes however the one he fires here are much bigger and unload all of the madness the moment they manage the pierce flesh.
• Shadow's Implosion: Nano fires out a ball of pure darkness out of his mouth that upon connecting with anything begins to expand rapidly damaging anything that is touched by it and destroying any light source before stopping and imploding on itself causing even more damage to things touched by it.
