Considering that Chance had only seen his division leader all of one time since arriving on the island, he thought it wise to seek them out instead, maybe get to know them a little bit, so he could become more familiar with his division as a whole.

Or maybe he was just curious. Either way, Chance had been directed to a series of offices someone had said belonged to the Sun Division, though he was hard pressed to find anything at all distinguishing about them.

Long story short: Chance may or may not have been lost.

One of the alleged Sun office doors was open, and contained just a very small table with one beautiful man with a coat that exposed his full manchest and flowing green hair posing majestically while lying down sideways on it. He was looking right at Chance, a fan to the side placed on medium cool settings blowing his hair gently.

He passed by the open door, then belatedly realized it was actually open, and backtracked, Chance slowing his steps to peer curiously into the room. His eyebrows rose a little, curiosity rising at the...well, he wasn't quite sure how to describe the sight before him.

He did, at least, recognize the man. Sort of.

"Weren't you at the Sun meeting a few weeks ago?" Chance asked, standing in the doorway.

"Be blessed mortal," the man began, and if Chance hadn't run away at this point, maybe he still had a place in Sun Division, "for only the greatest of mortals can see my corporeal form. My divine name is Giglamesh and you shall worship me as a god."

The fan kept on just humming away.

There was a pause in which Chance wondered whether he'd walked into an alternate universe. When that theory didn't pan out, he concluded instead that this was just a peculiar and simultaneously interesting scenario that he'd managed to stumble upon.

(It was yet to be determined whether it was fortunate or unfortunate in that regard.)

"And...what sort of worship are we talking here?" Chance asked lightly. "Sacrifice ten virgins kind of worship, or just pledging a dollar every other Sunday kind of worship?"

The Sun Hunter in question deeply considered this, though if Chance was good at reading expressions there was a quick moment in his glance that clearly read I can't believe this is working, "Neither, fooish mortal! Worship as in the greatest sense, and bow to me, kneel down mortal, and proclaim my greatness. Compliment my beautifully chiseled features and then I may consider giving you divine assistance."

Chance took the look with a grain of salt and an expression of mild amusement.

Fortunately for Gilgamesh - or maybe unfortuantely - there was very little that could embarrass Chance. Fighting a smile, he bowed over obediently, not quite kneeling, and spread his arms out to the side, ducking his head in a gesture of mock respect.

"Your beautiful and outstanding looks put the rest of Deus to shame," Chance intoned dramatically. "I would be honored if you would deign to help someone less fortunate in beauty."

There was a small click as he who called himself Giglamesh, the god of gods took a photo of this momentous occasion. Well, took a photo of Chance, and wasted no time in boasting his achievements to certain other Sun Hunters.

"Your desires have been heard," he positioned himself so that his hair now flowed elegantly sideways, except for the few that just flew right into his face that had to be hastily brushed away, one hand on his half-raised knee, "and now this god will consider your meaningless pleas. What is it that you wish for, mortal?"

It was then that Allan walked in about to say something about the last episode of Naruto, saw the whole scene playing out with Chance just bowing there, continued to smile, and then excuse himself politely, closing the door behind him with a loud click without saying another word.

Chance was still trying very hard not to laugh.

"I wish for - " he started to say, lifting his head - but the arrival of one division leader made him twist around to look, eyebrow raised. Chance straightened and brushed his hair out of his eyes, now doing nothing to fight the smile worming its way onto his face. He turned back to Gilgamesh.

"I wanted to talk to the leaders of Sun Division," he said. "To see if there was anything I could do. You know, to be a better, more useful participant in my division."

"Oh," Giglamesh said, bored again, "is that all? Because would not waste time with peons such as-"

"I'm here!" burst the Sun lead, who had still been patiently waiting outside the door for whenever they were done roleplaying. He struck a pose, at the perfect lighting angle just so. "If the sun reaches the kokoro in your heart then anything you wish would be free!"

This made absolutely no sense though it was to be noted that Giglamesh had sat himself back on the table again and was once again posing dramatically and shirtlessly with the fan on, looking at Allan once every so often just in hopes that he would get noticed too.

Chance's eyes slid from Gilgamesh to Allan again, trying to figure out if all of the division was on crack or some other substance that made them all act ridiculous. Especially since he had no idea what a kokoro was, but it did sound kind of fun.

"Uh, yes," said Chance quickly, smiling brightly. "I think, uh, the sun definitely does reach my...kokoro..."

He trailed off with an amused look at Gilgamesh.

Allan looked at his other accomplice who finally beamed like a ten-thousand watt bulb at being noticed. "Team formation ten! Training beam away!"

Before Chance could ask what on earth was a training beam, he was tackled by Allan, grabbed and portaled and soaring about ten thousand feet before he finally landed in the training field grass face down.

"Rule number one!" barked the Sun lead, looking as energetic as ever, "make sure you always are in uniform!"

A row of maid outfits was conveniently placed next to Chance.

Chance really did want to know what a training beam was but there was no time to ask, sadly. Following a series of events in which there was a lot of yelling, crashing, tackling, and noises, he found himself on the ground with a face-full of grass.

Training field grass, to be exact. Chance pushed himself up into a sitting position and swiped blades from his forehead, turning to look at Allan.

Then he looked at the outfits. His brows rose.

"I take it...these are the uniforms?" Chance asked dryly.

"You must feel the spirit of battle burning into your kokoro!" Allan posed as a response, probably meaning yes, and had somehow in the lapse of that second, changed into his maid outfit, which really no grown man should ever be wearing, especially the panty version. If Chance didn't stare too much he still had a chance of not being scarred for life.

"Now, feel the calm spring breeze in your hair and let the chakra[/il] channel into you!"

Chance was trying to figure out how on earth Allan had managed to change into the costume so fast - and why on earth he was wearing one that was so outrageously...well, baring.

He reached for one of the maid outfits of his own - not the panty version - and slowly slid it on, wondering what he was getting himself into.

"What now?" Chance asked, eyebrows raised in Allan's direction.
