This classroom is set up for the optimal teaching experience. It's as though a gymnasium was built on top of a skate park. Instead of baskeball courts and stands for the crowds however, there is a raised platform in the center. It's big enough to fit fourteen students and their teacher quite comfortably. This is where the stretches and warm ups occur. Against the eastern walls are stairs that go up about fifteen feet before heading back down, a railing along the edge to help make sure those in the free run class don't fall off the side. There's also the ledge course against the northern wall. This is where the technique of jumping from high places and landing with the least amount of damage to your body is taught. The southern part of the classroom has a large indentation in the ground which helps students with running up and down slopes. The western wall has a chalkboard on it. This is where Arianna gives her lectures on proper form for free running and flowmotion. There is also a closet where additional equipment is kept. However, once the school year picks up, Arianna will be taking her children out of the controlled environment of her classroom and having them use what they've learned on runs around the school.

  Damion looked around a bit as he walked into the room and looked for the teacher. It had been a while since he had been here, being the type to skip out on stuff he knew he wasn't good with. But he figured he should show up every once in a while so it may as well be now. "Anyone here?" He called into the large room wondering if the teacher woulod answer.

 A switch was flicked and the hum of electricity filled the air before the lights overhead turned on one by one, illuminating the area. "You might find that out on your own if you used your eyes instead of shouting out and giving away your position and the element of surprise to any potential threats." a woman's voice sounded from behind Damion.
Arianna had been heading into her classroom to set up some equipment she would be demonstrating with when she noticed him enter the room. Completely oblivious to her presence. However, a smile was on her face though her voice had sounded rather . . . harsh. She would never shake the old habits of military life, she supposed. "Sorry if I startled you. Was there something you needed?" she asked, as she walked further into the room, waving for him to follow her. She did have some tasks to complete before classes started.

Hyper_Fox2 Damion turned around at the sound of the woman. "Surprise isn't exactly my style" He said calmly as he waited for her to enter the room as well. "Anyway I just came by to practice free running since no one's in darkness control yet" He said as he looked around a bit wondering if he would even be able to learn with his lack of speed. He'd probably have a better shot at flowmotion but he wasn't allowed to take that until the next year.

Arianna nodded. "Well you're a bit early, but I'm never one to turn down an eager student." she said, her clipped military tone eased a little by the slight cheerfulness in her voice. "Why don't you head over to the center platform there," her right hand gestured out to where it was, "and start some stretches. Things can go very wrong very quickly if your body is not ready for the physical stress that free running can cause and I would hate to have someone have to spend time sitting out of class because of a sprained ankle or broken bone caused by a bad landing." she said, wrinkling her nose a bit with distaste at that thought.

Damion groaned a bit at both the cheerfulness of her voice and at the stretching part. He hardly wanted to be here at all so adding work before the actual running wasn't helping. But regardless he did as the teacher instructed and went up to the middle platform to start some stretches. "I doubt you'll see much of me broken bone or not" He said casually without looking at her as he continued to stretch.

Arianna pulled out a balance beam from the closet. "And why would that be?" she asked, grunting out the question as she dragged the gymnastics equipment over to the ledge course. She was planning on showing her third year class just what a skilled free runner could do. The only thing she had to make sure she didn't do as trigger any flowmotion in the process. That was reserved for their next year.

Damion stopped his stretching as the woman's question came out. "Because it's not my forte" He said honestly before adding. "And I don't like groups of people." He finished then noticed the equipment she was getting out. It looked pretty heavy so he felt compelled to ask "Do you want some help?" He asked wondering how much she needed to get out.

Arianna couldn't help but chuckle a little at his offer. "Very kind of you to ask, but no. I've dealt with heavier objects. This one is just a bit . . . unwieldy." she said, setting it down by one of the taller ledges. "There we go." she said, looking rather pleased with herself. "Now, as to your other concerns . . ." she said, heading over to the center platform. She did need to get some stretching in before class as well . . . "I've seen many students come and go through my classes. Many only barely made the grade, but if I'm able to teach them the very basics of what this class is all about, then I consider that a success." she said, smiling a little at Damion. "It may not be your forte, but I can guarantee that it will come in handy in the future. As for crowds, I can't help you there. There's some things we just have to live with, even if we don't particularly like them." she said, before sitting down with her legs sticking straight out in front of her. She then proceeded to folder herself over so that her fingertips were touching the tips of her toes and her nose was to her knees.

Hyper_Fox2 Damion sighed a bit hearing the woman. "Fine I suppose" He said wondering how long she would take for her stretching. "I suppose I'll just come before and after classes then" He told the woman as he waited for her to finish and tell him what to do next.

Arianna took the next five or so minutes to stretch. "I do have office hours, you know." she reminded him with a bit of a chuckle. After her stretching, however, she realized something. "I'm sorry, I don't think I ever asked for your name. What is it?" she asked, standing up and doing one final stretch, clasping her hands behind her and reaching backwards towards the ground.

Arianna straightened, a rather puzzled expression on her face. He walks into her classroom and doesn't know who she is? Well, it certainly wouldn't be one of the strangest things that happened around here. "You may call me Professor Rines. If you plan on taking Free Running or Flowmotion, it's something you best get used to." she said, a bit of a smirk on her face. "Now, are you ready for some Free Running training?" she asked.

'Hey, uh... Is it OK if I come in too?' Noire asked, waving from the entrance in.
She hesitated around that area, unsure if she had permission.
(If you guys do allow me in, then feel free to post without me if I don't come on for a while. I'll probably be at work way after you guys finished and sleeping during most of it, so... eh.)
