It's cool, moist and dark down here, in the aqueducts. The air is damp, wet, and echos. The sound of running and trickling water fills the air and even the sound of footsteps are amplified by the cavernous tunnels.
1. The South East Tower Basement: This is where the descending mushroom stairs winding down the tree in the center of the South East Tower( http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?page=1&t=24692535#372037203) finally stop. The room is small and dark, but also adequately illuminated. The floor is only a small island of stone tiling that surrounds the tree, surrounded by a trench of water. The north, south, and east walls each have twin archways, with a werewolf statue standing between each of their three square pillars. The werewolf statues are all identical and have no distinguishing characteristics. Their hands are held at chest level, with their palms turned up and their fingers spread apart, but loosely curled. Their palms are lined with fragments of broken and crushed moon crystal that burn constantly with lunar energy, making the statues appear to be holding silver flames in their hands that faintly illuminate the otherwise pitch black tunnels, with a soft silvery light. The statues' s backs are also ablaze with crystal fragments as well. the south east and north east walls have no arches and join the these three walls together and the south west and north west walls slant out westward, toward each other, and stop with about fifteen feet between them, where the east end of the corridor(2) begins. The water that surrounds the island flows in along the south and north walls of the west end of the corridor,(2) guided by trenches to loop around the tree and drain under the east wall of the tower basement, and the light from the statues shine upon these two streams.
2. The Corridor:The east end of the corridor begins at the west entrance to the basement of the South East Tower(1) and extends westward, about thirty six feet, before making a turn, north. Both walls are lined with three archways, each with an illuminating Werewolf statue inside, shining their silver light upon the water running along side the walls. The hallway stops just in front of another such archway and statue. The corridor then turns north about twenty seven feet and ends at the fountains.(3) The walls of the hall are each lined with two more archways with illuminating werewolf statues that shine upon the trenches of water that run along the walls. The trench running long the west wall of the north begins about three feet past the archways. There it enters in from benwesth the west wall, stops, just next to a square pillar on it's north side, and then turns south, to start it's journey to the east wall of the basement of the South east Tower,(i) where it's water pours down a drain under the wall, to water the tree. Straight across from the beginning pillar of the west and south walls' water trench, by the west wall, is the source of water that flows through the trench of the east and north walls of the corridor. It is a round pillar standing inside the trench, with four wolf head shaped fountains sticking out of it's four sides. The water pours from the mouths of the wolves, into a basin below, that is built around the pillar. The basin is over flowing with water that then pours into the trench and runs both south and north, down both directions of the trench. Standing between the fountain and the square pillar, one can hear what is happening at both the fall entrance and the tower basement(1&3), but because of the echoing sound trap-like state of the tunnels, when standing at the fall entrance,(3) or in the South East Tower's basement(1); one can only hear as far as this spot and no farther. From the fountain, the east trench continues north about 9 fwest, where it then turns east, toward the fall entrance.(3) A square pillar stands in the corner of where the trench turns east, and across from there, against the west wall, is the left square pillar of an archway that holds an illuminating Werewolf statue. A doorway, decorated with Celtic designs is right between this pillar and the pillar that stands at the beginning of the west trench. It leads to the aqueducts south wing.( http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?page=1&t=24737519#372874825 )
In front of the archway's right square pillar, on the against the north wall, is another wolf head fountain. This fountain has only one head, facing south. It pours it's water from the mouth, into a basin below, that overflows in to a trench that enters in from benwesth the illumination Werewolf Statue, which shines it light upon the water, as it flows east, to the south fall entrance.(3) Crossing over this trench, passing by the fountain, is a small bridge, only about six feet wide and three feet long; just big enough to cross the trench. Past the bridge, the corridor continues on, passing a spot where the north wall turns east and another archway, with an illuminating Werewolf statue standing between it's square pillars. Just north of this archway, the north wall starts up, again and meets with the west wall. Right here, in the north wall, is a thick iron door that opens up into a small passage way that leads to the bridge of the Falls of Heroes. Directly about twenty four feet west from the Werewolf statue that is next to the door to the south wing, between two square pillars each standing inside the south and north water trenches, is the west exit, which leads to the south fall entrance.
3. The South Fall Entrance: The south fall entrance is a doorway, decorated with Celtic designs, in the west wall of the room, about nine feet away from the falls to the north. the doorway opens to a spiral of stairs that lead up to the south west balcony of the ball room.( http://www.gaiaonline.com/guilds/viewtopic.php?page=1&t=24689219#371974691 )
Right next to the doorway, on it's south side, is a round pillar. On that pillar, is a fountain that is shaped like the head of a wolf, facing east. Water is pouring from the wolf's mouth, into a basin below, which overflows and spills into a trench that is running the length of the west wall. The trench enters into the room from the corridor's east exit,(2) just around the corner of the room's west wall, about nine feet south from the fountain next to the south fall entrance; where there is another wolf head fountain and basin, built into the corner, pouring it's water down into the trench, which flows north along the room's west wall, under a small three foot squared bridge in front of the south fall entrance, and then into the wast corner of a big pool just north of there. The pool is about fifteen feet wide, from east to west; and nine feet long, from south to north. The room's south exit enters from the corridor's east exit,(2) between two square pillars that each stand inside a water trench that travels along the south and north walls, from there, the room's south trench travels east about six feet, passes by and arch with an illuminating Werewolf statue that shines it's light upon the running water while the trench continues on for about another twelve feet, and enters the room's south east corner, after traveling about a total of twenty four feet in all. There is another wolf head fountain and basin standing side the trench in the south east corner, pouring it's water down into the stream that continues to flow north about twelve feet, before coming to a pair of square pillars that are both standing single file inside the trench, with about six feet between them, and another archway in the east wall, with it's statue shining it's light between the pillars and onto the water, which continues to run north, all the way, into the south east corner of the pool. There is a line of four wolf head and basin fountains running through the middle of the pool, from the west wall, to the east wall. The two fountains in the ends of the line have only one wolf head, facing tword the other while the other two between them each have four wolf heads, facing in all four directions. The north side of the pool spills over the edge, forming the south side of the Falls of Heroes.
