Summer skies were bright with stars tonight.
And Destiny City was full of youma leftover from the general queen's advance from the park. Whoever summoned them, never took them back. Methone had defeated at least three now, and she was heaving with her breathing.
She needed back up, and pulled out her senshi phone, determined to call Aegir and Castor for quick clean up.
That was until a basic senshi popped on her aura radar. she didn't have to search long before she saw the caramel hair.
"Excuse me pretty lady!" Methone waved her hands, "Spare me some magic for the youma's?" She pointed at the small creatures willing about.

When she'd gone out, Bestla had not figured on fighting and dodging her way through random monster attacks. Had the situation not been so terrifying and had the monsters been, well, cuter, she'd have gone along with it gleefully, hoping for a random pokéball to suddenly appear.
Senshi business was decidedly not at all like Pokémon.
Still, just on her own, she'd managed to kill a couple of small monsters as she'd made her way through the park. Though at the sudden sensing of someone like her only... more, she'd paused. Okay, she had sort of been able to sense the monsters, but this was different. It was like a mental breath of fresh air. Grinning a little, she hurried towards the source and burst into a clearing in time to see a dark haired girl waving at her.
Grin widening, she closed the distance.
"Ah, these runts?" she said with a laugh. "Don't know how much help my magic's gonna be. I've just been bashing their skulls in."
Smiling disarmingly, she thought that perhaps she could have found a different way to put it. But what good was it being a muscle-butt senshi with magic augmenting her already considerable strength if she wasn't allowed to use it to beat up the bad guys?

"These runts get pretty tiring after awhile!" She wheezed dramatically, "Bashing in is good! I would love to get some good bashings in." She laughed.
"Name's Methone, Pretty girl? What's yours?" Also dang what was your sphere girl? Methone was so curious.

Joining in the other's laughter, Bestla seized at the tail of one of the little monsters trying to swarm the girl and yanked hard. She was rewarded with a startled squawk as she swung the thing around to slam it into the ground. It must've been a weak one, she decided, as it turned into dust almost upon impact.
"Well, I don't mind bashing heads in for a good cause. These little creeps freak me right the ******** out, so I guess that's as good a cause as any!"
Still smiling, she listened as the other girl introduced herself and nodded pleasantly.
"Thrilled to meet you, Methone. According to the cat that gave me the fancy pen, my name's Bestla. Full title includes Senshi of Fairy Fire. I basically make s**t glow."
Grinning down from her lofty 6'3" height, Bestla found herself nearly bursting with curiosity.
"So what does your magic do?"

Bashing seemed the most effective really but Methone was doing a pretty good job of using her surroundings. She slammed a trash can lid down on one, then used it as a solid form to jump on, crushing another.
Once she landed and the area was clear, she gave Bestla a thumbs up and a wink.
"Bestla eh?" Methone blinked slowly, "Bestla the saturn moon?" She rose a brow, because if so, she had a whole spiel ready for this senshi right now about Saturn team and how she felt a connection and stuff.
"Hey sounds like me! I'm Aurora Borealis, Senshi of Aurora Borealis." She smiled, "I make lights dance and wind blow really. It's nice."
As she stood next to Bestla, it was only then she realized how short she was. Bestla topped her, and Lorne's height easily with a couple more inches then her boyfriends.
"Wanna see?" She asked wrapped an arm through the girl's like no big deal. Physical contact was always a yes for her.

Grinning easily, Bestla shrugged a bit at the question.
"I suppose so? The cat wasn't specific and I honestly did only a tiny amount of googling after the experience. Sounds like you know more about me than me."
Bestla's laugh burst out, almost bell-like. Clearly she was enjoying this, even if she didn't exactly have any idea of senshi life or her roots. Listening as Methone explaned her similar abilities, the taller girl nodded in approval.
"Well, I can't do the wind thing, but hopefully with this whole 'fairy fire' thing, I'll be able to actually summon some kind of fire someday. And hell yeah, I wanna see," she replied enthusiastically. She didn't mind Methone wrapping her arm through her own. Bestla enjoyed physical contact with friendly and like-minded folk. And the fact that Methone was so darn cute and tiny made it even better.

"I've done some massive studying lately, especially on Saturn moons." She smiled, "Basically, long story short, Myself and a friend are forming a team made up of Saturn moons and Knights, It kind of helps having a good support team of friends." She gave Bestla a look, "Especially in this style of life? The more the merrier!"
Oh goodie! Bestla didn't cringe away at the contact, so Methone kept hold, drumming her fingers along the girl's skin in a light airy way.
"I hope so! It would be useful to have magic that can cause some damage!" She bounced a little on one of her slippered feet and then covered Bestla's eyes. "Hold on darling! I don't want to blind you." she shielded her eyes for the bright part....
"Aurora Borealis Wind Flare!"
DaisyMilk Super Sailor Scout Attack: Aurora Borealis Wind Flare Sailor Methone calls out her attack and points upward towards the sky and above her head atop her index finger a solar wind erupts in front of her. This wind is far stronger if the opponent is standing directly in front of her and can effectively knock them over. The range of this solar wind reaches 7’ in front of her and all around her. (360 degree span). Following directly after this abrupt gust of wind a blue-green ribbon of light reaches out emulating the Northern lights. These lights only last for 15 seconds but blind anyone within a 10’ radius who gaze upon them for the next 15- 20 seconds (30 second blind if the room / area was in complete total darkness). - Once cast the light remains stationary and she can move around freely. - Light lasts for 15 seconds - Wind reaches out to 7’, Light effects people within 10’ - Can be cast 3 times

"No kidding?" Bestla replied, interest plain in her face. "Sounds like a logical enough plan to me. Where do I sign up for this team thing?"
The drumming fingers on her arm amused her and just to be a s**t, she flexed her arm ever so slightly to show off. If Methone wanted to hang on her, where was the harm, anyway? Though when she suddenly had a tiny, bouncing lady trying to cover her eyes, she smiled a little and crouched down just ever so slightly to be polite.
"Not being blind would be good," she answered easily, peeking through Methone's fingers. And when she saw the lightshow, she whistled appreciatively. "Ho-lee s**t! That is ******** impressive, hon. Remind me to never piss you off if you can do s**t like that!"
Okay, maybe this senshi gig was better than Pokémon.

"No kidding!" Methone chirped, absolutely tickled by the girls interest in the team. If that was the light of- "Really?!? Awesome! I can exchange numbers with you! Me and Aegir, he's kind of the leader, we're gonna set up something to introduce everyone! Especially cause we've found so many? This kind of networking could be really good? And I'd loved to patrol with you sometime!"
The flex of the arm was not unnoticed and while she was hopelessly in love with Lorne, she could still appreciate the fineness of a good muscle. Especially when it was attached to a lovely woman like Bestla. She tried her hardest not to bat her eyes at the woman because well....taken. Best not to open a can of worms.
"Oh thank you! I swear...Taller people." She teased and then waited. Once the magic of the flash disappeared, all that was left was the northern lights dancing in the sky. "You think so? You like it?" She looked up, "I like my sphere of power, but I was never sure of my attacks...."

"I'm all for swapping numbers," Bestla replied easily. "And for patrolling together as long as you don't mind me picking your brain a bit."
She watched as the lights danced and grinned a little at Methone's question.
"Wouldn't have said it if I didn't really think it. Gorgeous and dangerous is A+ in my books. Look at it this way," she paused a moment before continuing. "How you use those attacks in a fight is probably a bigger factor than what they can do. Use that little stunner at the right time and you could take down a fair few, I'd bet."
Blinding lights and a super strong wind were nothing to sneeze at as far as the taller senshi was concerned. And in spite of what she'd said, they were a lot better than making someone glow.

"Fantastic! Here..." She pulled out her senshi phone and snapped a picture of Bestla. "You have a fantastic side view, darling." She grinned as the phone downloaded the information and Bestla's popped up.
"Pick away, I'll answer the best I can." Methone beamed and then the phone disappeared into the magic of senshi uniforms. "Oh man, flattering me, aren't you!" God she really loved compliments. Practically preened at them.
"You're right! I guess I am useful." She laughed, running her hand over her arm. "Don't think that you aren't either now. Even if the magic isn't quite there, I can teach you some fight moves. Or you can teach me. We can teach each other." She laughed.

Grinning a little self consciously, Bestla watched Mathone carefully as she used her phone before digging her own out.
"So that's how that's supposed to work," she muttered as she mimicked the other senshi's actions. "Cat never did really explain."
Humming a little tunelessly as her phone downloaded Methone's information, Bestla considered what questions she might have. The cat had mainly skimmed over how to use her phone and told her she was a reincarnated warrior. Well, that was a starting point, right?
Wrinkling her nose a little and winking, Bestla had to indulge in a hearty laugh.
"Oh, honey, fight moves aren't a problem. Though I have yet to meet anyone willing to follow through with threats and bluster once they realize I top 'em by a good few inches and I'm built like a goddamn brickhouse. But from what I've gathered, this Negaverse thing probably won't be easily intimidated by size and bicep girth. So. What's their deal? The deal. Whatever."
Not that she minded a good fight. Like the little youma things tonight. Which brought her thoughts around to another question.
"What kind of people have access to actual goddamn monsters and are willing to send them out against innocent people?"Pixie Nyxie Gaia never notified me on this one, I'm so sorry! I am a garbage person ;;

Methone nodded her head, hair bouncing a bit as she looked down at the saved information. "If you need anything, I'll teach you anything you need to know."
"They bad people." Methone chuckled and then pocketed the phone into magical place. "They have messed up ideals, for one. A mission that is purely wrong. Caught up in war. Whatever some say, the end game is the same. They are very bad, and they will continue the reign unless we do something."
She laughed a little bit too, "Bigger is better, but its the little ones that are really the problem you know? I've been hit hard, and its bad."

Shaking her head a little ruefully, Bestla offered a crooked smile.
"Wouldn't even know what I need at this point. Cat tells me to fight the monsters, I fight the ********' monsters."
She considered Methone's words briefly before shaking her head again.
"Too deep for me. Guess, I'll fight when I gotta and hope for the best. I feel kind of sorry for some of the little monsters though. Poor, stupid little things are just fodder. Ain't right to send things out on purpose to die."
Bestla couldn't quite see how the littler enemies were a problem. Well, unless they ganged up on you. But really, she was literally big and strong. How could someone MEthone's size, and without magic, hit her hard enough to be of concern?

"Don't underestimate magic, on either end." Methone smiled. "Because magic is far worst than you think."
She jumped up and down now before nodding. "Okay! I think I should head back out on patrols again. If you need anything at all darling, give me a call! I'll come a running!" She leaned up and kissed Bestla on the cheek before unhooking herself.
"Take care of yourself!"
