Nadia wouldn't call herself popular, or well liked really. She seemed to make plenty of acquaintances, either powered or civilian life. The only constants she thought, now remained in the team of saturn men she had met. Colin, Lorne. Then there was the Xanis brothers, Elzo and Marlo.
But as far as girlfriends went, she only knew Eve. And even then, she only knew Eve as such a good friend because the woman was also her lover.
So the offer of Europa's friendship, either powered or civilian was welcomed and highly sought out.
So much that she had called the girl out for the night, planning to meet up in town for a much needed break from the other lifestyle. She just hoped Tallulah didn't mind!xxxSilverah I figured civilians would be better to play then powered but if you want me to change I most definitely will!

More than not minding, Tallulah was thrilled to have someone new to hang out with. Constantly popping in and out of town made it difficult to keep up with friendships, as much as she might try, and everyone seemed to have so much going on in their lives lately! Not that Tallulah didn't - summer classes and picking her old job at the pool up certainly kept her busy - but it just didn't seem like she was the kind of busy that other people were, with their grown up concerns and et cetera. Anyway. "Nadia!" she called, spotting who she certainly hoped was Methone's civilian form. It was always tricky meeting up for the first time as civilians, what with glamours making everyone's faces seem so different. "Good to see you," she said, offering the other young woman a friendly hug. "It's such a nice night out - let's find somewhere with patio seating."

The woman calling out to her was just as gorgeous as Europa was in her powered form. It wasn't hard for Nadia to just accept Tallulah as she was, because they girl just was.
"You. Are. Gorgeous." Nadia hugged back, keeping an arm around the other's waist once the hug faded. "It's good to see you as well hun. I hope you don't mind me selfishly bringing you out tonight." She winked and nodded.
"I've got a place in mind, feel free to direct me to another if you don't like, I had this odd craving for mexican food and..." She pointed to the large catina, with its obnoxious music and large patio area. Decorated in red and clay stones, tree's of the tropics and the sky above?
"Plus they have the finest tequila shots ever." She let her arm slide from Tallulah's hips to her arm, walking with her towards the place. "Have you been well? Find anymore sleeping friends about?"

Tallulah blushed. She wasn't even, like, trying - not how she got all dressed up to face a bar full of strangers. But hey, she supposed that she was rocking this sundress and these dumb hippie sandals. "Aww, thanks," she said. "You look really good, too." She let Nadia's arm stay exactly where it was - Tallulah liked having flirtatious friends. "Okay," she said, following Nadia's indication. It was a good suggestion - even without Tallulah mentioning that she was a vegetarian, she'd picked something with plenty of options. "Yeah, let's go there. Tequila's good with anything." Smiling, Tallulah answered, "No, haven't caught anyone else napping on patrol. I mean I don't go out of my way to look for people who are..." She blushed again, this time with slight embarrassment. "I must seem like the nap police, but I'm not, I promise. I can be cool. I'm very cool." I am a huge nerd who is currently enrolled in five summer classes, she thought as they sat down. I am not cool.

"Thanks!" Nadia was comfortable in her skin, with or without make up and fancy do's, so the compliments she got were all equally great. Equally nice.
Since Tallulah allowed her hand to stay, she left it. It was nice to just...hold someone, even if it was just a new friend being made. Physical contact was must for Nadia, a good comfort zone for her. "It is! Quite possibly one of my favorite alcohols but don't tell my extremely russian uncle. It's vodka and whiskey till the end of time! Hair on your chest to survive the winter! And summers....and Springs." She laughed.
"Nap police? I don't think so, but it's nice to know I'm pretty unique?" Nadia smiled, "Not often that you meet a napping super hero to become friends with. I guess that's mostly only possible because we are senshi." She side eyed the girl and chuckled again, leaning closely to place a gentle kiss on her cheek.
"I think you are plenty cool Tallulah." Nadia let go and took her seat, however to remain in contact, she let her leg slip to the otherside of the table. She was a stretcher rather then a folder at tables.

Tallulah laughed. "Well, I don't think we need any of that in the middle of summer in Destiny City," she said, trying not to picture the mental image. It was just sort of... distressing. "Better to just stick to the refreshing stuff." She felt awkward saying so, though, and hoped that it hadn't been a faux pas. "Um," said Tallulah, grateful for the slight change in subject, "Yeah. It's a lucky life. Challenging, but, lucky." She blushed. "And I'm glad you think I'm cool. I'm not, but, I'm glad you think I am." You could take the girl out of model UN, but you could not take model UN out of the girl. "Anyway, let's not talk about superhero stuff now - it's our night off," she said, reaching for the bowl of tortilla chips that had just been set down between them. "I'm an undergraduate student DCU and a lifeguard at the community center - how about you?" Was she supposed to mention being married when she was making new friends, she wondered, or would her rings say enough?

"Again, My uncle would tell you different." She grinned, "Then if you met my mom, she'd feed you until you popped. Too skinny! Not enough meat on bones to survive!" She refrained from telling her about her moms obsession with like....food filling kids.
"You go to DCU?' Nadia's eyes widened, "Same here! Though I am part of the ballet class, I'm working on my way to getting into a company." She took a chip and popped it in. "Lifeguard? That's pretty sexy. Do you like it? Or do you get a lot of creeps that like...try to hit on you?"
Did that make her a creep for also hitting on her?

Tallulah nodded - Methone had mentioned ballet, but they'd already talked about that a little and she wasn't sure how rehashing the same conversation would go. Probably, she'd just wind up sounding like she'd forgotten the earlier conversation, and that would just be embarrassing. Instead, she picked up another chip and said, "Sounds a little like my mom, but she'd tell you a lot of embarrassing stories about me, too." "So I guess I should be glad we're eating here instead," she laughed. "As for creeps... well, there's always a few." Wearing her wedding ring could deter the more considerate admirers. For everyone else, well, "I can kick them out if they get too bad. Threatening someone with a ban for the rest of the summer is a pretty good deterrent." "It's a lot of power for one girl to have," she added. "But I like it."

"I would love to hear them sometime." Nadia's smile widened even more, "If there is something I love more, it is family gatherings. It really shows a lot of characters we come from." But that might be a little offsetting to Tallulah, though Nadia didn't actually expect the girl to introduce her to family. They were just becoming friends after all.
She laughed again, "I could always order you a ton..." She teased, "There is always a few creepers, this is true." She laughed again and reached over, turning Tallulah's hand over and up.
"You're married." Nadia hesitated, "I hope it doesn't bother you that I continue to flirt." She let Tall's hand go before leaning back.
"It is a lot of power, but I bet it's fun." Nadia laughed, because what a delight Tallulah was. "Are you planning to stay as a life guard? or move into something bigger?"

Tallulah laughed. "Oh, my god, no," she said. "Believe me. You don't." Her parents barely understood the senshi part of her life - she didn't think they'd really grasp how some of her personal relationships worked. And besides, she wanted to spare Nadia the so are you a superhero shakedown. Lowering her hands, she paused, studying her rings. "No, it's fine," said Tallulah, blushing. "I'm sure you'll meet Nick at some point. We have an understanding." She cringed inwardly. Was that too much? At least with Elzo it had been obvious that he was interested and not just messing around. "Anyway, no, I'm studying to go to veterinary school," she added, changing the subject. "Let's get tableside guac!"

"Do your parents know?" She hesitated, "With you doing this for so long, it couldn't be easy to hide-" Nadia covered her mouth and then sighed. "Nevermind, don't worry about it. Night off!"
Wow was Tallulah blushing? It was really really cute. "I'd like that, I'm sure he's very sweet." She hesitated again, though she didn't always pick up on social cues, she did pick up on...other things. She didn't push though, because half of her was afraid of also ruining a friendship.
She hummed a little, wondering just how...
"Tallulah..." Nadia leaned over the table a little, "Does your understanding with your husband allow for other lovers?" She cocked her head. "If not, forgive me for being forward." Nadia leaned back, relaxing. She hated sexual tension, and there was, at least from her, coming off in waves.
"Animals? You have a gentle touch then." She waved the waitress closer, "Can we have some guacamole?" It'd be close to ordering soon too. "What's your favorite animal?"

Nadia wasn't being too forward at all. In fact, Tallulah was glad she'd asked, because it made all this much less awkward for her - at least it was on the table now, so to speak. She laughed. "It's a little bit more complex than that," she said, and left it at that as the waitress appeared - this was hardly the conversation you wanted to be overheard having, was it? Not that she was ashamed or anything like that... She just didn't want to scandalize the waitress. "I've always liked cats," she said, shifting easily to tamer subject matter. "Which I guess is lucky for me - imagine being in our line of work and hating cats." She had a feeling you wouldn't last very long. She watched the waitress walk away and figured they had a few minutes before she would be back with their chips. "What I meant to say earlier is that yeah, Nick's fine with me going out with other people - but he likes it better if I bring them home. He likes to see me with them." She smiled, only slightly sheepish - it got easier to explain this every time. "It's okay if that's not something you're game for. That's just - those are my strings-attached."

Nadia could only raise a brow, as she took a sip of the drink that the waitress left. She also waited till the woman left before leaning in. Whatever Tallulah wanted to say didn't need to leave the table.
"Imagine that." Nadia chuckled at the quick shift in topic, playing along with the other woman. "Cats are pretty fun, especially the ones we meet." and the waitress left, leaving them to return to the past topic.
"An audience doesn't bother me." Nadia cocked her head, and then smiled, reaching over to play with Tallulah's hand, "If your husband's okay with it, then so am I darling." She chuckled again. "You don't seem like it, but it's the quiet ones you gotta watch out for, yeah?" She let go as food was placed in front of them.
"What do you say to eating? And then you can take me home, and we can have a really, really good night?"

Tallulah sighed - had she seemed reluctant? "I'm enthusiastic," she replied, "but not very good at talking about it." She was better once the initial awkwardness was out of the way - or at least, she hoped she was. "But - wow." She laughed. "I didn't expect you to be so cool about it. I always worry about being rejected, which would have sucked, because I want to be friends with you at the very least." She glanced down at the menu, and then back up at Nadia, smiling brightly. "Yeah, sounds great to me."
