- Kea loves to watch the weather. He's had an interest in it ever since he was little. The weather in Hawaii could be so beautiful that it gained his attention from the first rainbow to his first snow. When he moved to Destiny he's found that there's a whole new world of weather to explore and study. He's often dragging friends along with him.
Fire Dancer
- Kea slowly developed a love for Hula, when he first started lessons his parents forced him to go to lessons and learned the ancient art. However when he was older he was offered the chance to learn fire dancing as he seemed to have the passion for it. The moment Kea picked up the batons and started practicing with them he found that Hula got much more intense and enjoyable for him. While Destiny isn't the best place to practice in the open Kea still does practice alone or when he's hanging out with his friends.
Racing
- Kea was born for excitement and he has the need. The need for speed. Actually since he learned to drive on the island at a young age to help his folks around their little farm, he's not that bothered by driving. Kea often races dirt bikes, cars or anything with wheels really - he's moved far away from go karts though he thinks they're not fast enough. Though on one or more occasions Kea has picked a race late at night despite just getting his Provisional license not too long ago.

Adventurous
- Kea lives for excitement and the joy of the 'hunt'. He's very adventurous and willing to try new things at least once. This helps him to get along with people that may have difference interests than him because he treats learning about these interests as a new experience and a chance at an adventure. He also likes true adventure and thrill, he finds fun in storm chasing staying far enough away to take photos of the storms and how they form all the way up to funnel clouds forming. He's even taken a few trips out to the midwest out of the blue during the summer. Kea loves to take friends with him so they enjoy the adventure too!
Generous
- Kea can often be found doing random acts of generosity for those around him. Even when he was younger Kea would give back to others by helping neighbors however he could. He believes in a random act of kindness and the fact that it can come back to help one when needed. Though Kea doesn't do it just for the karma, Kea helps people out because it makes him happy and it helps others around him. If he found someone out in the cold without a jacket Kea's more than happy to give them his jacket. Not only does it make Kea happy to help but it also has helped Kea make friends with people that have become very important in his life.
Flaws:
Overconfident
- Kea is often overly comfortable with his abilities and capabilities that sometimes he forgets that he's human and can make mistakes too. Be this when he's fire dancing or working to help others. His confidence often times leads to mistakes or leads to larger problems. Not only has he occasionally failed tests but he's also maybe accidently set a few small fires by accident on occasion. He's never actually gotten anyone hurt but his actions can cause his friends to be wary when he's in charge.
Forgetful
- Kea can on occasion forget important things he was suppose to do because he got excited over something else. Meaning Kea often forgets really important things, like appointments that don't have to do with his fire dancing or storm chasing; but things like school, doctor's appointments, when he's suppose to be meeting his parents. This often gets Kea in trouble, and chalked up to unreliable because he consistently has to be reminded of these 'less exciting' things. Even his friends and parents can find it annoying to constantly have to remind him.
