The damage from Haumea had finally faded, leaving Methone's skin to return back to it's normal tan hue, unbleamished by the pink blisters.
She wasn't sure what to say but as she looked at her arm, her fist clenched a little. She didn't want to kill anyone, damage Haumea so bad that-
It was weak thoughts and she knew in this war, she could not have weak thoughts.
Her patrols were alone, dangerous. She seeked danger out really. She was seeking danger really.
So when the aura of the general appeared, sending shivers over her skin, she moved towards it. Reckless. Stupid. She should have Aegir or Mont Blanc with her, or even the quieter saturn knight Camlann.
Once she saw the woman though, she mustered up her courage and landed in front of the general.
"Good evening pretty lady." Methone cooed.

The General was a good find, for someone looking for danger and trouble. She tilted her head toward the stranger that approached her so casually. Maybe this one did not know her reputation, or by description. Or maybe she just had a death wish, and thought she could be a match for the seasoned terror that was Painite.
She smiled almost pleasantly, though there was not much warmth to be found in her deceptively gentle looking eyes. The sea green color did not match the wicked dark intentions behind her gaze.
"Hello, sweet heart," she replied gently, not yet calling her spear to her hand. She turned to face the other woman a little more directly, looking Methone over.
She chuckled, shaking her head.
"You must be very brave to just walk up to a General like this. Or maybe just very stupid. I find they're one and the same, most of the time. One and the same. What's your name, little thing?"

If there was ever a moment of feeling like prey, it was the minute that Methone's eyes met Painite's. It was a deep shivering feeling...
"Stupid and Brave are usually the same yes." Methone relaxed just enough to allow the space between Painite and herself lessen. Not even enough to allow herself to be caught in a web, but enough that she was tip toeing the line.
"Generals don't really scare me as much as I thought." She stupidly said, the bravado turning on immediately. "Methone. My name is Methone. And yourself?"

"General Painite," she said with a smile, all too happy to meet her newest little toy. Methone was going to regret her bravery, in a few short moments.
And that was an absolutely delightful thought for Painite. Here she was, just starting to get bored! Now, things were certainly looking up.
"And let's see if we can fix that mistaken concept you have of the Negaverse upper tier, hm?"
She called her spear to her hand. It was her most trusted companion, and an extension to herself. It called for blood as much as her own starseed did, and it was where she felt her soul was really stored. Her spear was as much a part of her as anything else, and she felt whole when she had it in her hand. Even more so when it was covered in blood.
Soon.
"If you'd like, I'll give you a headstart. Half a minute? Consider it my good bye gift to you. Starting now."

Okaaaaaaaaaaay. Methone was pretty sure she drew the short end of the stick somewhere. She should've known better. She should've been smarter.
She stared wide eyed at the spear, terrified. It was lethal, scary.
She didn't even wait for words. The first thing she was going to do was summon her attack to knock her back. Half a minute?
Methone would be gone before Painite had a chance.
"Aurora Borealis Wind Flare*" She waited for the lights to hit before turning on her heel and running.
Lithiasaur Aurora Borealis Wind Flare Sailor Methone calls out her attack and points upward towards the sky and above her head atop her index finger a solar wind erupts in front of her. This wind is far stronger if the opponent is standing directly in front of her and can effectively knock them over. The range of this solar wind reaches 7’ in front of her and all around her. (360 degree span). Following directly after this abrupt gust of wind a blue-green ribbon of light reaches out emulating the Northern lights. These lights only last for 15 seconds but blind anyone within a 10’ radius who gaze upon them for the next 15- 20 seconds (30 second blind if the room / area was in complete total darkness). - Once cast the light remains stationary and she can move around freely. - Light lasts for 15 seconds - Wind reaches out to 7’, Light effects people within 10’ - Can be cast 3 times

They always tried to fight. Well, not always. Sometimes they were really pathetic, and not just the regular level of it. Those fights were boring, sometimes, especially when she was looking for trouble. Looking to play.
This new toy, at least, was putting up the kind of fight she wanted to see.
She looked up as the Senshi pointed, then down as the magic itself began to appear. Senshi magic was probably her least favorite thing ever. It was terrible, annoying, and often incredibly frustrating to have to deal with attacks that did not come from a physical attack.
She lifted her hands to protect herself from the wind, in case there would be sharp blades or something hidden in them. She had been hit with something like that before, after all. It helped her shield her face from the light that burst forward, but she was waylaid for a few moments longer than she actually intended in her chase.
Maybe this senshi really would get a thirty second head start. Imagine that.
When the lights faded, though, Painite knew the girl had already taken off. Her aura was hurrying away. She teleported after her, following her aura. Silly senshi. They always seemed to forget about the teleporting. Painite could follow for as long as she needed to.

Running, by the way, seemed to move her faster and faster now that she was a super. She strained with the effort to move to get away but it felt.
It felt like Painite's aura never remained a distance away. She dropped into the woods, wanting to quickly change into Nadia. If Painite could track her aura, then she would just, disappear.
But wasn't that...
She didn't want Nadia to be found out either.
She dropped down in woods, but how could she fight Painite with no weapon? She felt like she needed to be smart. Smarter.

"That was not a very nice thing to do," Painite called, knowing she was close to the Senshi, but not sure what part of the woods she was actually hiding in. A bush? A tree? The options were limited here.
She would find her toy soon enough.
"Come out, come out, little one. Let's play for a bit. Isn't that what you wanted? I let you run, but I know you're here." She called in an almost singsong voice, though there was nothing warm or gentle in her tone. It was ice cold, and her eyes shimmered in the darkness, eager and bloodthirsty. She had her spear, holding on to it with both hands as she stalked slowly, searching.

s**t. She was already found. She had forgotten the powers that negaverse generals had. She wasn't sure either, how to get herself out of this. She could power down and hide, but....then Painite would see her, and she wouldn't be safe in this life or out of this life.
She jumped out, holding her fingers up on her tiara.
"I'm right here lady." Methone kept her fingers on the tiara in case, as she could summon the magic, walking around. "I got away for more then 30 seconds hun, which longer then you gave me. How does that make you feel?" Methone laughed. Though it was all fake.
"Not often you get outwitted by a super rank for a bit is it?" Had she really outwitted her? stalling for more time?Lithiasaur Rough her up but don't kill her sort of things? LOL IDK how she's gonna escape though?

Painite was always happy to hunt and play, though she really just wanted to kill as many White Moon dorks as she possibly could. They were the worst, after all, and she never forgot how much she hated them, even when they delighted her and allowed her to have a lot of fun.
So even if she did, in her odd way, like a senshi or knight, she never let that feeling get in the way of what she ultimately had to do. And she never felt guilty about it, either.
Painite was not much for connecting to people in healthy, normal ways any more.
"Outwitted? I don't think so, but I'll let you believe it," she hummed, almost singing it as she laughed. Her words were cut off when she felt something blink in her senses. An aura, not very close but close enough for her to recognize it. Twisted. Negaverse, but not. She knew who it was immediately, and growled. "Well. It seems you have luck on your side tonight, senshi. I have bigger prey to hunt."
With that, she teleported away, on the trail of something she just could not stay away from.

Methone was EXTREMELY happy and lucky that something else gained the attention of the scary woman.
She waited till Painite disappeared before powering down and....
"So..." She laughed miserably. She didn't think she could fight that again...She'd go home...talk to Colin.
Painite, someone she would avoid.
