Carsen was sitting on a wooden bench surrounded by flowers in a park just outside of school. She enjoyed nature very much, actually it was the only thing that brought peace to her chaotic life. Carsen's home life started to become more hectic as the years passed by. Her parents figured out about Carsen's "special ability" when she was 6 years old. It was during her birthday party. She had come running down the stairs holding the hand of a girl that looked identical to her. At first her parents were scared out of their minds, and when they asked Carsen where she found the girl she replied, "Well I made her." After years of institutionalization Carsen's parents finally found out about Gifted Academy, a school for children born with supernatural powers. All the students lived on the campus, and it was a private property. No one from the outside world came in, and the students never left.
There weren't many other's like Carsen. She was the only student at Gifted Academy that could clone herself out of thin air. Sometimes this made her feel like an outsider. No one truly understood her, or her power. What it all meant. Most of the time she would create a clone of herself and talk about her feelings to it. It was the only being who understood completely, but then she questioned if it was really a being. Carsen started to swing her legs back and forth on the bench and hummed to herself. She created a clone which materialized from the feet up besides her. It only took a second or two. Both girls smiled at each other. "Will you braid my hair?" Carsen asked. The clone nodded with a smile, then began twisting Carsen's hair into a tight braid.
