Anger could be seen bubbling in solid white eyes. The brows above them furrowed into a deep scowl. It was very uncharacteristic of this particular stallion to be filled with such rage. What was worse is that the male in question was not entirely sure whom it was directed at. Was it directed at the gentle mare who only sought to help him and his brothers; or was it directed at himself for blowing up at said mare and storming away in the heat of the moment? Which ever it was would not become apparent to him until much later. For right now, he was still seething in the anger. As he seethed he ran. Ran so fast and gracefully that all that could be seen was a silvery white blur.
Some time later with the sun just starting to fade, Genevre slowed down and eventually stopped. His anger had simmered down but was still very much present. The bulky male closed his eyes and sighed to better get himself under control. Once he felt calm enough, he reopened his eyes to take stock of his surroundings. Apparently he had traveled very far away from his herd. This was the first time he had ever been so separated from his brothers. His brow furrowed into a frown this time. How could he have just left his brothers? What must they think of him? They are the only ones who could possibly understand him and what his feelings were like. Surely one of them would be just as angry as he? With that thought he turned to look behind him, back toward the direction he had come from.
No one was there. None of his brothers had followed him. His pale eyes went blank at this. Were they choosing the herd over him? Being in the irrational state he was in, this seemed to be the only option. Deep down Gene knew it was not the case, but it was too late for him to be rational about things. He had just run away from his herd and more importantly his kin because of a stupid argument about nothing. Another sigh was expelled from him.
"Fine," he gruffed out to himself, "they will be alright without me... For a short time at least." His eyes stayed staring toward where his siblings were for a moment longer before he turned and moved farther away. Some time away from it all would do him good, or at least he hoped it would. He flicked is long tail as if to fully say that this was his final decision. As the sky darkened with the further setting sun, the stallion stood out stark against his surroundings. He did not seem to care as some of his lingering anger seemed to exude from him, warning potential company to be wary.

 Nishi wandered around, enjoying the last bit of sun. That was one thing she loved about this time of year, the fact that the days seemed to go on forever. Well that and the beautiful flowers that were all around where she lived. It reminded her of her old home and the lovely pink lotuses that surrounded it. Though she loved these new lands she lived in, she kept two lotus in her hair to have a reminder of her old home with her always.
She continued walking along as the sun began to set. Just as she was about to turn back she looked off at the sunset, and out of the corner of her eye she saw a ghostly figure off in the distance. She turned her head to look, half expecting what ever it was to disappear. What she saw was a bright white stallion standing by himself, appearing to almost glow in the darkening shadows that surrounded him.
As she moved closer to the stallion, she could almost feel the anger radiating from him. That didn't stop her though, and she continued moving towards him. She had never seen one like him before in these parts. She noticed how he kept looking behind him, maybe he was lost? Though she was not an expert by any means on these lands, maybe she could help him still.
Nishi stopped a short ways from the stallion, the sun had almost set. Her dark coat began to blend into the surrounding with only her bright hair standing out to alert others of her presence. She didn't wish to sneak up and frighten the stallion, that was never a good idea especially when they were angry. Instead she let out a soft little nicker to let him know he was not alone before calling out to him. "Hello there?" (Edit: Sorry it took me so long, my rp skills are a bit rusty.. )

Gene's sharply trained ears had picked up the sound of the mare as she came closer to him. It just did not fully register with him until she nickered. Her light greeting echoed through the torment in his mind. A sigh left him for he was not sure if he could handle dealing with anyone, but he was far too polite to simply ignore her all together. "Good evening." His response still came out curt. The male stopped to actually look at her as well. It surprised him slightly with how well she blended with the darkness. Only her hair really stood out and that was not even to say a full mare was standing there.
Used to seeing at night, his bright eyes really eyed her. She was only the second non-herd member he had bumped into. So, he thoroughly looked her over to assess first and foremost if she would be a threat. Once he was satisfied he spoke again. "Can I help you?" He was still very curt, but at the same time curious as to why she would speak to him. Surely his slowly waning anger could be felt or at least seen in his rigid stance. dolphingurl Sorry it's so short, especially for the wait!
