(Viru is being RPd has a foal; Rae will be added in later on, will post her cert when she is.) Virulent bounded happy among the trees. It had been many moons since she was allowed to leave the confines near her teepee dwelling. Last time the little filly had gone out exploring she had not told her watchful guardians and went on a nice long journey with her Pappaw. By the time they had returned, her friends were frazzled to death with worry over her. They lashed into her for a week before they simply decided to ground her to staying near Samnie at all times. After apologizing till she was exhausted, the older females finally decided she could go out again. Viru was growing and did need to learn about the world. With that in mind, they let her have a week of just being a little explorer. Thrilled at the prospect the foal headed out immediately the next morning.
Of course she did not know that one of her two guardians, Rae, would be following her closely from the skies to make sure the young one stayed safe. If she had know, she might have gotten very mad for still not having their trust. Still, she didn't know and was very busy searching through the woods for flowers. Ever since being out with her grandfather, the black female could not help but want to collect and study them. A happy giggle escaped her when she spotted one not too far away on a little cliff ahead. Finally! She thought to herself. Maybe this one will be new! Eagerly she rushed over and looked for a way up the tiny cliff.

Meandering down the forest trail with a curious tilt of her head, the white filly known as Teleri Lindai hummed thoughtfully. 'The trees are awfully tall here... And strange...'
That was the thrill of wandering though, seeing things she hadn't before. And that, more than anything, was the reason she kept leaving to go on these little jaunts even when she really shouldn't. Teleri knew -with absolute clarity- that if she was caught she'd be in trouble indeed. Still, that hadn't really stopped her in wandering further away from Flock Lands than she ever had before. She couldn't help it, really. Adventure called at her and she answered, capering away from the Harpys keen eyes on dainty red hooves.
She'd left the Flock's borders and the outer lands far behind in her early morning sprinting, and while the forest was intriguing enough she could tell from the thinning trees in front of her that it was coming to an end. Ahead the sunlight was streaming bright, beckoning her onward. She followed on light hooves, halting at the sight of a black-coated filly and faint cliff.
"Ummm.. Hello?"

Startled by the sudden greeting, Viru eeped before turning quickly to see who was there. Immediately her eyes landed on the other filly with her mostly white coat. Purple eyes widened when she saw tha the new foal had wings, and a lot of them! Both curious and cautious she stepped a closer to the other.
"H...hello?" Sometimes she stuttered when first meeting someone. "Wh...who are...are you?" A light flush crossed her face causing her cheek marks to stand out a little more. Surely this other foal would think her dumb for stuttering.

Teleri considered the strange filly carefully, remaining at what she judged was a safe distance and trying to evaluate the situation. She wasn't sure what the black filly was after, if she was looking for flowers or herbs or just to get a higher view of the area? There was no telling, really, so Teleri remained at a careful distance.
She could see the moment the other filly noticed her wings -all of her wings- and laid her ears back nervously. Fluffing the top-most white set of wings, she opened them just enough to cover the other two pairs, shifting backward slightly. She was suddenly apprehensive about the whole ordeal, and rather wishing she could go back to home. At least no one stared at her there.
"I'm Teleri." She said softly, but her voice was clear and sure. "Who are you?"

Virulent tilted her head to the side and smiled slightly. "I.... I'm... Virulent!" Her name was a bit of a mouthful even just half of it. She made a face as she said it. "V-viru for... for short." The light flush still on her cheeks.
"Wh...What are you...doing ou..out here?" She asked as she tried to get her stuttering under control. She had noticed the other filly had backed away some and so did not move closer. The dark filly certainly did not want to risk a possible friendship. Rae landed carefully on a large tree branch just close enough to the two foals to see them but not close enough to be seen herself. Her red eyes were critically examining the winged foal with mostly curiosity. Hopefully this little one wouldn't be foe. "How intriguing." she thought to herself.

Still careful to keep her topmost wings over the other pairs, Teleri shifted lightly on her hooves. She didn't really want to move closer, afraid she'd alarm the other filly or break some unknown rule. Was there etiquette for meeting strangers? Was she in herd lands or the territory of a family? Was she trespassing?
"Virulent..." Teleri echoed, someone confused by the name. "Oh... Viru? I, I like that... It's kinda pretty."
It was certainly easier to say, anyway. What did "Virulent" mean, anyway? Teleri knew her name meant things, a legacy of her mother's family... A tradition begun with the naming of her grandmother. Maybe Viru's family was the same?
The way the filly spoke was odd, but Teleri didn't feel the need to remark on it. Maybe Viru was nervous. Maybe that was how her Clan talked? Maybe she was scared because she could tell Teleri was a harpy? There was no telling, really.
"I'm wandering, mostly." Teleri responded honestly to the question, shrugging her wings. "Sometimes I gather stuff for the Flock, sometimes I just look around. I'm trying to figure where things are, for when I learn to fly. A map, you know? So I will recognize things from the air that I had previously seen on the ground. Landmarks to show me the way home and stuff."
She thought it was smart, thought maybe she could even teach the familiars that lived near the flock to draw what she had seen. With charcoal or berry juice on a treated pelt, she could make pictures for others who had never traveled the ways she had gone. It was less exciting than making jewelry, but she still thought it could be useful.
