Just good ole fashion chatting.)) *Sits on a bar stool in the shade drinking a strawberry and banana smoothie while watching the guests play in the sun, sand and warm waters of the sea.*
Today is a fine day she thinks to herself.

Matty stumbles over and has his hands still roughly in his ripped jean pockets, looking oblong among the beach as everyone else is in swimwear.
He sits 3 stools away and orders the same drink she had and watches her quietly, still attempting to find an opening to talk to her since his arrival, but finding himself too shy to say anything. He instead starts tapping the table with his fingertips waiting for the drink he ordered as he fidgets with his toes inside of his boots trying to work up the courage to speak to the woman who gave him somewhere when he had nowhere to go.

Mxtty Matty stumbles over and has his hands still roughly in his ripped jean pockets, looking oblong among the beach as everyone else is in swimwear.
He sits 3 stools away and orders the same drink she had and watches her quietly, still attempting to find an opening to talk to her since his arrival, but finding himself too shy to say anything. "Um..well...I don't.."
*Looks up to see that his pointless way of fishing for excuses are not working on her*
"Alright.."
*He nervously slides down to sit near her*
"Hmm..Lady Areya, isn't it?" *Watches as he fidgets and tries to find an excuse, lifts a brow at him wondering what he might come up with.* Yes, dear Matty but you may just call me Areya. All of my friends and staff do. *Smiles gently at....*

"Well.. I'm glad to hear I can be straight forward with you. See, I was going to ask you some questions about the history of this place..If you..don't mind of course.."
*Finally looks up at her face and a great feel of surprise comes over him*
"I've never looked at your face straightforward before...Have we met?"

"I've never looked at your face straightforward before...Have we met?" *Looks at him with a curious face.* Not that I can recall but the Estate has had so many guests over the years that we may have. Areya Stormbringer *Looks at him with a curious face.* Not that I can recall but the Estate has had so many guests over the years that we may have. Have you been here before? As for your questions you may ask anything you like, but I might not always have an answer. *Looks down quickly*

*Shuffles through pocket pulling out a black book*
"Well, why exactly did you accept me here? I came to your door looking like a dog..Why did you not run me off?"
*He asks this in a sincere, puppy-dog way*

The magic of the estate wouldn't have let you in if it felt you had bad intentions and you looked as if you really needed a friend and a place to stay. The magic of the estate wouldn't have let you in if it felt you had bad intentions and you looked as if you really needed a friend and a place to stay. Well my dear, that would depend on what you call out of the ordinary. After all this place is built on a natural magic foundation. Even my connection to the mansion itself has magic in it. And the guests that come and go are not always ordinary by any means either.

So what would you call out of the ordinary.

Hhm, I haven't really noticed anything, but since you mentioned it maybe when I get back to the mansion I should check on that.
*Turns back to bar, wipes the dew off her glass and then begins twirling the contents around in thought.*
