It was soft. If one was to listen closely, they would be able to hear it. It echoed gently against the walls of the vast and empty room. A song, simple a sweet. It wasn't like a normal voice, either. It was sweeter, lighter, more enchanting. Eutepe swayed as she moved through the empty room, a song merrily dropping from her lips as she went, making sure the room was tidy for her new students. She took the time alone to enjoy the sound of her voice again before students would flock in and show her their talents.

~Dimitri O'Sullivan~
Dimitri was simply in the music room, practicing the more rusty of his skillsets in music: violin. It was odd to try and play alone on one instrument in F Minor, but Four Seasons by Vivaldi was a very pleasant and favorited song of his no matter what weather it was outside. Although, it came to the point where Dimitri was hitting the section Autumn, extremely difficult chords to play a few minutes into such a piece. Not to mention, he had just sped through Spring and Summer. There was not much time left out of the section before he could do Winter until a tiredness came upon him. How disappointing...
Dimitri put the violin down, his clammy, gloved hands digging into his jacket pockets yet again through the cold and shakes. It was around that time again for the fix... A bottle was removed along popping from it a few Vicodin pills. Dimitri wasn't prescribed, but had means of obtaining the stuff. It was something that helped calm his nerves figuratively and literally and made the emotions of his past feel as though they were never there to begin with. He wished Vicodin wasn't something he had to rely on, but he enjoyed it too much to knock the very pills to begin with. "Oh Winter, you bitter harlot..."
He cursed, throwing them back and leaning against a desk to allow them to settle. This was a side he hoped no one would ever have to see.
Malicia strut down the halls of the school, ignoring the looks she received from the students. There was so much malice, sadness, fear and anger in the air; there would be no problem for her to continue absorbing energy and remain in control, at least for a very long time. Time she planned to use to gather more energy and eventually force the seal open. There were a few spots where love and joy existed that she intended to snuff out but first, a certain individual had caught her attention. Dark tendrils emerged from her shadow, forming hands to thrust the doors before her open. Inside sat a boy leaning against a desk with a violin before him. ...He reeked of grief and pain. The witch smiled, approaching the student until she was but a few feet away from him."Tell me. What causes you so much pain?"she asked. Perhaps she could make his suffering all the better and take what she needed from him.

Dimitri capped the bottle, placing it back in his jacket pocket. Finally, the great curtaining of his body and the numbing it brought. He couldn't keep doing this but it was a good temporary fix.Right now was about the feel good and the permanent solution could arise when he knew how to. Maybe that was just an excuse for Vicodin. It didn't matter. The doors thrust open, catching him off guard. Oh no, he only came here to ignore the rioting and let it calm down. Why would anyone bring that all the way to the music room? The answer was they didn't. It was more as a woman with shadowy hands of magic backing her. Her presence wasn't exactly the most pleasant, and the fact she asked him such a personal question was worse. There was no way she saw his bottle and was able to read the name of his medication. She could sense his deep emotions. He had a bit of a defensive stance, caught unwell from the person. "My pain is a card game of an unfair hand that everyone gets the chance to be dealt. I struggle to play with it." A gloved hand drifted off the desk as he moved away from the instrument, giving more attention to this new person. "What's my fate worth to you?" Fair question; it's unusual for someone to barge in and become so personal. Than again, the meaning behind it all probably wasn't good to begin with.
The dark witch only smiled with her nefarious smile, the shadow arms from earlier retreating into her shadow. She could tell he wasn't going to make this easy, how he immediately took a defensive stance. Good. If it was easy then she wouldn't nearly enjoy this as much. The boy replied with an unsatisfying answer, one that he followed up with a worthless question. She quietly laughed before giving her retort"Fate? I could care less about your fate."The woman's magenta colored eyes began to glow and a dark aura had surrounded her being."Sorrow. Suffering. Pain. Frustration. You have a lot of pent up emotions. I wanna see!"The dark aura became bolder, like a glowing black outline around her. Thick lines sprang forth from her shadow on the ground past Dimitri and around the room. Just being in the vicinity of Dimitri was enough to fuel her like she wanted. But no. She wanted more, she demanded more from him! And she would get it, one way or another! The lines would surface as tendrils, two forming hands at the ends while others were spikes. In total, there were six; three behind the witch and three behind her prey."I wanna see...THE PAIN THAT AILS YOU!!"Two of the spiked tendrils behind her would lash out and attempt to jab the musician in his shoulders.

"Yeeaaah... those are some personal inspiration I don't show to just anyone. I just don't know you like that."
The shadowy casts of magic swirled over the classroom. Of course, this was going to become a fight. If only it didn't come to this. Though, this would be a reminder to take his painkillers quicker to keep such noticeable emotions from erupting. It'd be impossible to defend himself in a 360 degrees, but she was in distance. The advantage was on his side. The closer, the better. with an opened palm, a defense force formed to block one of the attacks as he started hoping on band member chairs down the line, growing closer. With a pulled back fist, Dimitri launched his hook forward at an powerful fling, the force leaving his fist and flying towards the dark magician, swirling music sheet and dirt in its direction.
Her tendril reflected off what appeared to be thin air. They stopped before hitting anything and returned to their neutral position.'So he had some mysterious power? Entertaining!'she smirked with delight. She wasn't familiar with his magic and wondered if he didn't just use a spell to make whatever it was invisible. Regardless, the witch was going to get a bit of a workout with this one. Her glowing eyes followed him as he leaped from chair to chair before throwing a punch her way. Had she not seen the music sheets and dirt flying in its wake, she would not have blocked with her shadow hand. Unfortunately, the force had shattered the tendril like glass, proving how strong she currently was. Malicia scoffed, irritated at her own weakness but didn't give away her follow up attack. The other handed tendril had followed Dimitri around the room from below and surfaced just after his attack to grab him by the ankle. From there it would sling him across the room to shake him up a bit.

"Huh?" It suddenly caught him off guard. He never even knew there was tendrils behind him. Since he was Leaping the chairs, it was going to be impossible to dodge in that time. So, it took his ankle and flung him across the room. He landed in another row of chairs, rubbing his head. "Man, this is stupid..." Why was this fight even happening? That question didn't even matter at this point. He stood up after the fling, facing his opponent. "Poor timing for this, wench..." A wipe of his hand like a slap caused the vibrating air, visible, to wave an odd rippling ocean over the chairs and fly them senseless at his assailant.
Seeing him being tossed around like a ragdoll, Malicia smirked in amusement. He still wasn't showing fear, not yet anyway. She just need to push him around a little more and maybe maim him a bit. Given the instruments and sheet music, she assumed he was a musician or at least held a...strong like for music. Her power was slowly escalating but not fast enough to her liking. The victim continued to fight back, this time summoning a wave of his magic to strike her with it along with a couple chairs it dragged with it. Stomping on the ground, a wall of darkness appeared before her to neutralize the attack. Just as before, it shattered and only managed to absorb most of the wave. It pushed her back, sending her sliding across the floor before the chairs came crashing into her. With her magic, she managed to keep herself upright but she was clearly not happy."Tch! Cheap trick, boy"the woman scowled. However, she was watching his 'cheap trick' carefully, trying to figure out how he was doing it. There was no magic she didn't know of and she intended to keep it that way. As she defended, three of the spiked tendrils advanced on Dimitri, attacking from the front and each side of him.
Only a fool believes such, I only require darkness
"You are really not offering any ease out of this..." That simple wave attack did nothing. Sensible, as it was merely testing abilities. Dimitri knew nothing of magic and other abilities which would be a setback in figuring out how to battle others. Something seemed off as her abilities seemed like they should be stronger than this. They had him at many angles, but his powers were snapping through them for the time being. She could get stronger. That had to be it. Not good, as he only had the potential to get weaker. The next attack came to him, the translucent shield forming from his hand to the side as he weaved through one of the side attacks and the frontal attack. His feet slid across the floor by the push. What a strain, fighting this person was surely not going to be easy.
Fine, it was time for the real fight to begin. Dimitri ran up, speeding up to the direction she was. A meter or so from her, he did a leg sweep with a following downward punch. This seemed awkward from such a distance with no contact, but following his movement was the vibrating, see-through energy that came from his movements. The rippling came from his foot and pressed over the flooring towards her. Along this, a large crushing force just like the downward punch was above her.
Those glowing eyes followed Dimitri's every step, his every move. She was slowly coming to understand the rules of his magic but not completely. For her to understand, she would need to know how strong it really was. Once her attack failed and shattered, the boy came at her again but stopped short. When he performed a sweep, a transparent energy swept her off her feet, following his motion. So that's how it was, huh? The witch smirked as she willing dropped her guard by opening her arms and accepted his downward punch to her midsection. Hell, she even took the stomp attack he had to follow up with, it causing her to put a sizeable dent in the floor. And there she laid, seemingly defeated with eyes closed but as her opponent might notice, her magic was still active.
Just then, three angry students stormed into the room with baseball bats, shouting about wrecking the music room. Malicia's shadow moved swiftly underneath them until it reached behind the group. All three would be run through the chest by shadow tendrils as a sinister laugh erupted. The dark witch levitated off the floor, cackling madly until she was back on her feet."You know what? That wasn't too bad"she complimented his attack. A trickle of blood would escape the corner of her mouth, running down her face. She wiped it away with her thumb and then looked at it, as if enthralled."Huh. You made me bleed. Huh. You'll be feeling that one later, deary."She shook her head before clasping her hands together. Darkness formed as they parted and split into ten orbs above her; from there, forming into swords."I find your resistance both entertaining and irritating. Should I kill you or keep using you? I wonder..."the woman rationalized. A sword flew into her hand as she now rushed at him with a diagonal slash.

That was too easy, though. That leg sweep and hit brought her down? Splinters and the dent in the wooden floor cradled her seemingly unconscious body. It might've been over but he really wanted to learn why he was being attacked to begin with. Guess he could carry hr to the nurses office or something. Didn't seem like the best idea but there wasn't anything else to do. A group of the rioters burst in suddenly. "Damn, why here? Why now?" Great, they were trying to wreck and cause chaos wherever they were. They could probably harm the instruments and maybe even her. That wouldn't be good at all. "Damn muppets, you'll get sweeped." Running to her side, he was ready to kick the ever loving s**t out of some kids until he realized they were suddenly murdered before his eyes. "No..." The darkness. She was still awake and laughing loudly. That attack didn't take her out as expected but the fight was really only just beginning. He drew blood out of her? s**t, he hated having to do that. Blood made him feel slightly sick and the dead bodies didn't help too much. She was really toying with him and it was a bit irritating. It was starting to appear a bit fun, though. At the moment the orbs and sword opened, he acted on reflex, with a flick of his hand, the great weapon Mighty Orchestra, an appearing wand specifically designed as a weapon to work with his powers, struck from thin air and defended against the slash as they stood face to face. "You really need to stop being such a shat-faced nuisance..." He lifted the staff overhead and swung it down, the powers amplified but condensed around the weapon and extremely vibrated downward ready to slam on her.
Malicia stared hard into the eyes of her victim and couldn't help but grin. He was disgusted, that much she could feel the moment she killed the minor interruption, but there was also irritation and his nerves were through the roof. However, that smile dampened when she could also feel...excitement in him."You... Don't enjoy this!"she shouted in anger as he swung his baton. The witch summoned another of her swords to her other hand to block the staff with an "X" formation. Dimitri's force alone put cracks in the blades but didn't shatter them like it did her other attacks. Slowly, but surely, Malicia was gaining more power and was all thanks to him! It would be a waste to kill him now...however, a slow and painful death usually dug up a lot of emotions in a person. Her swords hovered over the two of them, the witch having one position itself a little ways behind Dimitri.'Let's see how you handle this!'she chuckled to herself, the woman preparing to deliver a kick to his chest. However, an inner voice cried out in her head, temporarily stunning her.'Stop! Stop it, Malicia! Please do-'"You...little b***h!"the dark witch shouted. She staggered backwards, hunched over as she brought her wrist to her head; still grasping the sword.
"How dare you interrupt me... Even after I've gained this much power, you can still resist?!"She couldn't believe it... Either Faina had grown stronger or she simply wasn't strong enough. And she didn't accept either of those possibilities so the only other thing she could think of was there being too many positives. Yes. Yes! She could sense it! Among all this chaos and rioting, there was still hope and...the "l-word". If she wanted to get back to 100% she would have to snuff out their light."I'll take care of them. All of them"Malicia says aloud but was actually talking to herself that time. Fixing her posture, her attention went back to Dimitri."My dear little composer. I need to take care of a few someones, but don't you go anywhere. I will come back for you"she smirked. That said, the witch gathered her swords around her as she levitated off the ground and quickly flew out the door. [EXIT to Courtyard]

That disgust in his gut was settling, but oh how blood was unpleasant. That was just something you had to experience when fighting however. Maybe that was a side effect of the pills. Unsure. It's not every day you saw blood. Wait, why was she annoyed now. Don't enjoy it? 'Pft, you can't tell me how to feel." Second sword. Wasn't surprising. He magic was much sturdier than expected. His power was enhanced by that weapon. She was gaining strength greatly somehow. This was all so confusing. A kick was coming and he was too close. It wouldn't matter much, so he was prepared for the pain. Yet, she stopped. Why? Was... she talking to herself? People were really problematic at this school in so many possibilities. He basically belonged there. b***h? What in hell. She called him a composer? Well... very flattering. She was atleast knowledgeable. Too bad the personality with it wasn't the most sought after. She wasn't going to leave, though. Right in her steed, he chased after and kept a distance to not be caught by her gaze. "You'll finish what you started."
